When trying to email a picture to someone who already exist in my email contacts from Iphoto i have to type the email address in full. in email when I enter the first few characters the address is shown. Well, let take the personal service point of view : let say, I had two calendars on my iCloud account : one for work, one for my leisure activities.
On my MacBook Pro that I use at home as well as at my office, I would want the two calendars to show and since I am alone in my office, I would want the alerts for both my work and my leisure activities to show (and make a sound at the same time).
But on my iPad that I only use at home, I would only want my leisure activities alerts to show (and make a sound) and on my iPhone that I only use for work, I would only want my work alerts to show (and make a sound).
That is a personal service that simply does not work.
Why would Apple give us the opportunity to hide some calendars on certain devices but not allow us, on these same devices, to switch off the alerts linked to these calendars that we have chosen to hide ? Why having alerts of calendars that do not even show on these devices ?
And I am an Apple fan since 1984, since the very first Mac. I still do believe Macs and Apple devices and/or software (iOS, OS X and others...) are much better and much more efficient than " Microsoft, Windows, Google and other Android devices and software.
But that does not mean everything's perfect (and I find that quite normal).
Nevertheless, in this case, letting alerts make a sound on a device where a specific calendar is not shown, that does not make any sense : when uncheking those calendars, the alerts linked to those calendars should be automatically switch off (but alerts should be able to work on the calendars that are shown.)

CSV file for users who have one-time password email address

I am trying to extract the list of users who have one-time password email address in FIM or users who have registered with one-time password reset authentication workflow. I need to get their email addresses in CSV file.

The script queries a WorkFlow called "Password Reset AuthN Workflow" and returns its ObjectID, then uses it to do a new query searching for "Users" with these parameters:
AuthN WorkFlow Registered = ObjectID of "Password Reset AuthN Workflow"
The script exports these details to a CSV.
Also, all OTP email addresses should be stored in the "msidmOneTimePasswordEmailAddress" attribute in the FIM Portal.

I am getting the message that my email password and/or username is not correct. It is correct! I am the only one who cannot send or receive emails...I am the only one using a mac.

I took my computer and iPhone to the Apple store...4 hours later they said that couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Any suggestions???? I am also not able to log into the C-Panel...

Same here! Happened yesterday to me on New iPad and iPhone 4S. On iPad I managed to correct it by removing the account and activating it again as an Exchange account...I have mail and calendar OK!
On the iPhone nothing seems to work!
Facts:
1. everything worked perfectly for years!
2. I have the 2-step authentication deactivated on my google account so it cannot be this one.
3. On desktop everything works just fine, on iPad everything is OK with Exchange account added (after Google removed support for Exchange account access I CAN ONLY HAVE ONE DEVICE with Google Exchange account, so doing the same on the iPhone does not work!)
4. Tried to remove and add the account again - no results.
5. Tried to remove and add as Google, as Exchange, as Other account - I get calendar but no mail!!!
6. Tried to reboot between remove/add accounts - no results.
7. Tried to ("reset settings") reset the device - no results.
8. Tried to add as POP account and I it worked - I get mail but I do not need POP as I am using zounds of mail with labels and need to be working on an IMAP account
9. To make things even more complicated...I have another account which works perfectly!!!!!
Anyone out there having a clue?

Are you saying that you are missing the FROM column in the Inbox view? If so there is a small icon at the far right end of the header that you click to select what columns to display.
If you have dragged the FROM column to the left and hid it and now only see 3 dots where that column should be, hover your mouse up where the divider for the FROM and SUBJECT columns are and when you see a double headed arrow appears click and drag to the right to reveal the column.

there is a doubt for me on ORACLE software installation. i.e. who will install ORACLE software on linux production environment. either system admin or else ORACLE DBA.
If DBA means, whether system admin will share the oracle root password.,
If SYS admin means how DBA parameters during installation.

Since every version of Oracle available now (except 11.2) needs patches, a new installation should not create the database right away. Therefore, a software-only install is the most reasonable thing to do. And if no DB configuration parameters are required at s/w-only time, then it makes somewhat sense for the SysAdmin to do the install.
Therefore, it makes sense to me that the two groups (DBA and SA) might want to work ... together. (ROFLMAO)

Need help finding Oracle e-mail contacts

HI there, I urgently need a list of email contacts from Oracle, couldn't find any around the site, just a support form. Problem is that I do want to know who will read my email. It regards a security concern in oracle 9iR2, but probably versions from before to even now. To whom it may concern, please contact me ASAP.

How do I create a custom sound/vibration profile per app, SMS text, phone, or email contact?

I have a Verizon iPhone 4s recently upgraded to iOS 7. I'm an IT engineer who's on call and started a new job last week with a company that doesn't provide company phones like a blackberry. So now I get tons of company email alerts, text messages, and phone calls both private and for work. I always have my phone switched to vibrate to filter out the noise of generic emails/texts/phone calls, but I also need to be able to configure specific emails sent from our network monitoring servers, text messages from my teammates and alerting devices, as well as phone calls from our internal tech support to be sent with sound. Ideally I also need to be able to configure alert options in an "On-call" profile I can switch on so that I can configure alert repeats and the most annoying noise I can find so I don't sleep through network pages.. But I still want to be able to keep the default vibrate for everyone else and everything else.. How do I create a custom sound/vibration profile per app, SMS text, phone, or email contact? In blackberry's, you can easily create different profiles to switch back/forth and configure each app/text/phone option to either a sound option or vibrate. iPhone seems to be all vibrate or all sound, with little to no options to mix/match the two.. If Apple ever hopes to truly capture the enterprise market blackberry has, this is the most standard and essential feature on blackberries for IT professionals.. If I have to buy a third-party app for this, so be it. But I've been searching for hours and found nothing that creates customized sound/vibrate profiles for iPhone like this (minus jailbreaking your phone, but I shouldn't have to jailbreak a $699 "smartphone" for simple sound/vibrate/alert options like this..).

Yeah Appke wants to be like RIM (Blackberry) who is sinking fast and their devices will be door stops.

As far as I can tell with my iphone what you want to do is not possible. There are sites that tell you how to make different ringtones for the device but your choices to change sounds for email and text/sms messages are controlled unders sounds in the setting menu. Again the manual is on your phone and online if you need assistance changing sounds and ringtones.

Which is the best Oracle certification for a programmer

I have been doing web development in java for about 2 years now. I already have a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science but I want to stay competitive and am considering an Oracle Certification. The problem is that I am having trouble deciding which one to pursue. I am trying to keep emerging technologies in mind and I know that cloud computing and mobile devices are taking over. But I still know that there are many other companies out there that aren't ready for all that. I have found certifications such as:
Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer
Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Web Component Developer
Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Business Component Developer
Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Web Services Developer
Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect
Oracle Certified Expert,Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 6 JavaServer Pages and
Servlet Developer
Personally, I think that "Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect" looks the most attractive because it seems to wrap everything into one. But the prep time and costs for this are both pretty high. Does anyone have any good information or experience that can help me make a better decision?

I'd rather have someone that knows how to design and guide people to build maintainable systems in stead of someone that knows how to sniff packets.
But then again you'd have to define what the architect role in this case exactly means. For all I know it is actually a senior developer position with a slightly better ring to the title ;)

Email contact question

Hi again,
I replied to an email from my 8520 whilst i was out yesterday and today when i went to type a new email to a friend i noticed that whilst looking through the list of my email contact names the person i replied to yesterday is now at the bottom of the list ?
I looked through all the contacts that i had entered when i bought the phone but the person does not show up at all so i cant delete it ?
It will only show the person when i look for a contact to send an email to.
Please advise how i can delete this person who i will never contact again and more to the point is there an option where when i reply to a person it does not get added to the phone thus only people i enter will be stored.
