Hello everybody
I run a Microsoft 2008 Server. I have my own buisness and so I have some workers.
When i hire them they can have there own computers with them to work, to work faster and feel better about working here, and i t is easier for them to take the work with them home if they want to. And so they leave me their Mac-adresses so they have acces
to the net.
BUT, i have noticed that our Internet, sometimes run really slow. I then started to work on it, and looked at the routers and at the server. But i did not find anything wrong. that was until i saw that a worker was downloading a movie.
Now i dont wanna see what people are doing, but i have heard that Server 2008 can in fact see what IP or Mac address that is using up all the Internet.
I dont know how i can go in and see that, so please if someone has a good guide to how i use Server 2008 for that purpose, then please write.

Apple hasn't added any new devices to iSync for over a year now. They are leaving that job to third-party *iSync Plugin* developers.
Almost all new Sony Ericsson and Nokia phones can be synced using an iSync Plugin:

You are unlikely to find any LG phones compatible with iSync, as LG uses their own proprietary and incompatible syncing protocol, rather than the industry standard SyncML protocol most other manufacturers use.

How can I find out what is using all our home data?

We have a huge amount of data every month but over the past few months we are cracking thru it like crazy. I want to know what is using it all. We have changed passwords to ensure it wasn't outside this house.

Hello,Do you have mobile devices and tablet/s connected to your modem?If so, turn off "Background Data" in Data settings plus any automatic updates etc etc It could be that someone in your home is using it with high data downloads? If ou have multiple PCs, turn off automatic updates in Windows, to advise but not download.In your portable devices, there are a mutitiude of apps that update without your knowledge. You can't tell which device a purhcase was made on, but if your family members each have their own iTunes account to which your card is linked then you can check the purchase history on each of those accounts via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes - that should have 'purchase history' section with a 'see all' link to the right of it

When two or more devices conflict it typically means that the DHCP service is either misconfigured or is not running at all. DHCP provides IP addresses to local network clients.
Is your AirPort Express base station the only router in your current network configuration? That is, is it connected directly to an Internet modem and not to another router upstream of it?

Same issue here- I can airplay my amazon prime library just fine from my iphone 5 but on my macbook- (mavericks, 15 inch 2013 retina with quad core i7, nvidia 650 M and SSD) it just sputters and lags.
I have noticed web video is considerably worse than local content, giving me pauses of up to 2 or 3 seconds in which video stops but audio continues in the amazon player. Youku video, however, seems relatively stable. Our subscription speed is 25 mbps, so that should be plenty to stream SD video from Amazon and doesn't account for why it would be nice and stable from the iphone, but not the mbp.
Playing light, locally hosted steam sidescrollers like Limbo is better but gives periodic drops in framerate on the Tv. when mirroring the framerate remains steady on the MBP screen.
Games airplayed from my iphone seem relatively stable, though with a noticably lower framerate on the TV than on the phone.
It seems these issues have abated considerably since yesterday's Apple TV update, but are still curious nonetheless and I'm not sure that the update yesterday was specifically meant to address those issues or if I'm just getting a time with less network interference now.
Comcast recently installed a new router/modem/phone combo, replacing our old separate modem and router setup. I'm going to test if putting the network on a different channel helps.

No, iCloud does not handle 3rd party mail, and Google can already sync to all your devices without any help.
iCloud accounts are individual, there is no 'Family' account. Open an account for each user, each will have an iCloud address.

Thanks restoring and restarting didn't fix my problem - i have started it fresh and still it doesn't work. Basically I press ONCE on the remote, after the machine has not had any commands for 10 minutes, and the cursor skips from one end of the menu to the other - so I can't choose network or update software etc - I sometimes manage to stop it randomly in the middle of the menu if I press on a command in the middle of the cursor skipping all the menu steps...not sure what the problem is but I have basically not used my brand new apple tv since I bought it for that reason! I should call Apple support I suppose! grrrr hate wasting time with stuff like this!

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

Yes, start with deleting your account on his device:
(Settings > iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Your Account)
In the next step, create a new account on his device:
(Settings > iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Your Account)

My iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPad 2 are running 6.1.3 with no such problem and the same with the overwhelming majority of iOS devices running 6.1.3.

How about allowing customers who don't use all their paid for data to store it to be used in the event of an over use?

If we have already paid for data why can't we store it so if someone on the plan is traveling or in an area without wifi if the plan is in jeopardy of going over it could pull from the storage. I have five (5) lines and 10g and rarely use more than half but occasionally there is the possibility of going over. It seems unfair when for months I have paid for and not used it all. It would be a really good marketing move to offer this to those who might be ready to switch cell phone carrier.

Not everyone who switches will be paying more, though, and would need to be determined on a case by case basis by the customer.
It's obvious Verizon is only doing this to squeeze us of Unlimited. If they were really worried about Network Optimization they would throttle anyone who uses more than 5GB of data a months not just those still on Unlimited Data. This is not the case. When someone who pays for ACTUAL usage, the increased revenue can help Verizon offset the cost of increasing capacity. When you have a SET REVENUE stream on an unlimited data plan, this IS NOT the case. Increased revenue leads to more money available to be used on infrastructure.

Yes you can. All Ipad's are unlocked and can be used any where in the world. Buy the AT&T version which is GSM in other countries

I have tried most of this, except for a couople of things i currently cannot due. The apps that are acting up the most are YouTube an Vine. Facebook and Safari work fine.
