Is there anyway to view a whole year at once on Ical?

Do you run a normal depreciation run for period 01 and not a unplanned depreciation run to period 12?
What are the settings in OAYR voor the depreciation posting rules? Montly / Annual posting?
Have you closed and clompleet posted the old fiscal years

Can you view a whole year in iCal, rather than just day, week, month?

Does anyone know if there is a plug in or something (alternative app. even) that allows you to view the whole YEAR rather than just a month at a time? I want something that will function almost like a wall planner.

I asked this question about two years ago! I'm surprised we still can't print a year calendar. I've been using an Apple Calendar program from 1996, which was fun because I could add icons, and frames, etc. I was using it up until last week when I installed Leopard. Gone is Classic and my calendar program along with it!
Another problem I've had with iCal is the inability to print it in portrait mode. There was a work around on these boards that worked, but doesn't now. Sigh

How to show whole year in iCal

iCal is configured to shoe day, week and month but can one get iCal to show a whole year, like a wall calendar. If not then perhaps there is some add on software that will do this?

Aside from the fact that it takes third party software (no longer available) to do this, I don't really see what the need would be. Time, date and month change often enough that the would be necessary to keep up with but the year? Every 365 days?
Besides, you can click the time in the menu bar and it will show you the year.

Generation of Annual Leave Quota at a time for the whole year

Hi All,
Kindly give some suggestions.
I am working on Time evaluation. We have a quota , Annual leave which is now given on monthly basis, means lets 12 annual leave are for whole year and employee are getting 1 leave on each month.
Now my requirement is to give this quota at a time in the start of every year. That means all the 12 annual leave should be generated in the start of a year.
When I select the option no pro rata calculation then I am getting all this leave in the start of the year. But when an employee is joined in the mid of the year then also 12 leave is been generated which is not correct.
Please suggest me how to make this leave as prorated so that for new joinee , this leave is generated taking into account the period and generate the prorate value for the whole year at the time of joining.

I am using + time evaluation Status-2. We have to generate quota in PT60 for each period.
Write now we are getting annual leave quota getting generated in monthly basis. We want to genarate whole quota for the year in the 1st month of the year.
When I have given calender year in the accrual period , i am not getting any quota in the 1st month rather getting the whole quota in the end of the year.
Please suggest me what to do.

Chart horizontal axis show whole year

How to display whole year month as horizontal axis even if no data? for example, currently I have data for FY13 up to Jan 13, no data for Feb 13, Mar 13, Apr 13, May 13 and Jun 13 yet, in the chart it will automatically showing horizontal axis from July 2012 to Jan 2013, but I want to show horizontal axis from July 2012 to June 2013, if not yet data, line stops.

Hi,
Apart from the option mentioned above, you can also create an right outer join in the BMM layer of the RPD.
This is only recommended if the data expected by you is the same in all the reports using this combination of the tables.

Hyperion IR : Getting out of memory error while fetching data for whole year through web client (wrokspace)

Hi,
While fetching data though IR wen client from workspace for a year(all 12 months) I am getting error as ("Out of Memory .Advice : Close other applications or windows and try again").
If I am trying same through IR studio it does not give any output and show me same repoting front page.
If i am selecting periods till 8 months it is giving the required data in both IR web client and IR studio.
Could you please suggest how can we resolve this issue.

Issue Cause :
Sometimes this is due to excessive data which brings the size of the BQY file up around one gigabyte uncompressed in size (for processing may take twice as actual RAM, plus the memory space space for the plugin, and the typical memory limit on a 32-bit system is 2 gigabytes).
Solution :
To avoid excessive BQY size exceeding memory availability:
Ensure that your computer has at least 2Gb of free RAM before he runs IR Studio.
Put a limit to the number of rows that can be pulled down: Right click on Request label of Query section and put a value in Return First xxx Rows (and check the check box).
Do not pull down more than 750 MB of data (remember it may be duplicated while processing).
Place limits or aggregations in Query section (as opposed to Result section) to limit data entering the BQY.

Lost a whole year of photos

The iPhoto icon in the Applications folder has a circle with slash across on it (like a Do Not Enter sign). When I double click on it, a small window opens to say: In order to open "iPhoto", you need to update to the latest version. Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

Script calc budget whole year from last 6 month figure

I need to write a script to calculate budget from JAN to DEC base on last six month figure
lets says budget 2010.
to start to calculate 2010.JAN budget..
i need take value from 2009.JUL to 2009.DEC ACTUAL value for calculation..
to calculate 2010.FEB budget..
i need take value from 2009.AUG to 2009.DEC ACTUAL value + 2010.JAN budget value(which is value from above after commit) for calculation...
to calculate 2010.MAR budget..
i need take value from 2009.SEP to 2009.DEC ACTUAL value + 2010.JAN budget + 2010.FEB budget value(which is value from above after commit) for calculation...
now i need to write the script for every month on same calculation...when the calculation formula is change...i need to change the script for 12 time....
it may also have condition the budget is start from 2010.MARCH to 2011.FEB is depend on the property user set in dimension category. There is a property call "FIRSTPLANMONTH" = 2010.JAN which indicate the first month for the budget.
is there any way to loop through this script for 12 times to calculate the budget base on "FIRSTPLANMONTH" and last six month formula....

Query for: 'jan. to cur. mth.' and 'whole year' in 2 rows

hi,
i try to define a query as follows:
the query consists of a row structure with 12 columns, one for each month.
furthermore the query has a key figure that can be restricted to "actual" or "plan" values.
now i want to display two rows in the query result. in the first row i like
to display the "actual" values for all columns from january to CURRENT
month. the REMAINING columns should be EMPTY or filled with zeros.
the second row of the query result should be filled with "plan" values for ALL columns from january to december.
does anyone has an idea how to achieve this result without using the cell editor?
my problem is anything i define/restrict in the columns structure affects ALL rows. if i could differentiate between the rows from the columns selections my problem would be solved. or maybe there is another way?

Create two structure one for rows and one for columne
In the rows create a structure .
in the first selection add the keyfigures and restrcit it to plan
and name it as plan value
in the second selection add the keyfigure and restrict it to actual and name it as actual.
in the column put calmonth structure .

Just to set expectations properly, just because you buy a system from a retail Apple Store doesn't mean you automatically get higher return privileges. The same general standards vis-a-vis repair vs. replacement apply no matter whether you get your system from a local Apple Store or via the web. It's completely up to Apple, regardless of how you purchased your system, whether or not they'll replace a defective system or attempt to repair it.
Yes, a stock configuration will be eligible for the 14-day return, but that would apply whether you get the system locally or via the web, and with an opened box, a restocking fee may be applied.
As to your current situation, call Apple Tech Support and ask to speak with Customer Relations. When you get a CR rep on the line, explain the situation, including all details as to the problems (make sure you have applicable case numbers at hand), when the system has been sent in, what you've been promised and where things stand now. They may be able to help resolve the matter. But a refund is unlikely, in my experience; the highest level of resolution you're likely to get is a replacement of your exisiting system with another of the same configuration. It won't hurt to ask for a refund, of course, but don't expect one.
