Hi Experts,
am displaying doc #s in my_alv, so the zeros r coming as prefix........i wanna to truncate zeros......so, can use FM conversion exit..........but, pls. let me know that,
Is there any ALV functionality in SAP, which deletes the preceeding zeros in Sales doc, delivery doc #s?
(Wht is ALV setting/flag to deletes the preceeding zeros in doc #s,?)

While defining field catalougue , define it as
fieldcat_ln-no_zero = 'X'.
preceeding zeros of documents nos will not be displayed in ALV list.

I am trying to resolve a problem where someone tried to set up a second iPad on the same Apple ID account. I have partially solved the problem by creating a new Apple ID for the second iPad, but when I went to change the iCloud setting, my only option to change it was the 'Delete Account' button. I just want to make sure that I'm not going to accidentally delete the old Apple ID account because the fist iPad still needs to sync to that ID.

Due to field checsk (like field empty) in "HANDLE_DATA_CHANGED" ,
( CALL METHOD ER_DATA_CHANGED->DISPLAY_PROTOCOL.)
i notice the user "field empty"   , but also i want to delete his mark in the checkbox ,.
all of my tests to delete the checkbox failed .
i tried :

Hi,
Create a new program that will read the fields..
Then put the leading zeroes in the check number field..
And then modify the file..
You can use the FM CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT to put leading zeroes..

I've set OpenOffice Writer as the default for downloding .doc files but everytime I download it the default is swriter. I have to manually select OpenOffice Writer each time. Any clue as to what's wrong ?

I have a new desktop HP PC running windows 7. I have downloaded the OpenOffice suite having used it already for several months on my old PC. I didn't have this problem on my old PC (DELL D400 Windows XP) on which I previously used IE8.

Cor-el's suggestion resolved my problem. Apparently the MOZ_NO_REMOTE variable was set to 1 on my system variables. I never made it, and really have no idea how it got there, but deleting this variable and restarting firefox has resolved the issue. Thanks Cor-el!

Solution: Verify the MOZ_NO_REMOTE variable is NOT set to 1. This can be achieved by simply deleting this variable.

I accidentally deleted the launchpad from my doc! how do i get it back?

i accidently dragged it off of the doc a while ago, and now i cant figure out how to get it back... its not like i cant get to the launchpad, i can get to it if i press f4, but i want it back on my doc.

When I use a material that is flag for deletion the system issues the following messge : "Material xxxx is marked for deletion"
message no V1406 - application area: V1, message number 406
This message is displayed only as "Information" only however I need to change to "Error" where the user will not be able to proceed.

You need to setup material status message and assign it to material master instead of changing the message (I think it is defined as warning message in program itself , experts pl. confirm)

After importing bookmarks from another computer, I have two copies of all of them: how can I delete the 'right' copy?

I successfully imported my bookmarks from my old to new Macbook. But now there are two copies of everything, listed one after the other. I tried to delete one set, but only deleted the ones organized into folders. There are still doubles of a lot of bookmarks. Now when I bookmark new pages on the new computer, it adds them to the end of one list of bookmarks but not the other and it's the list that doesn't have the folders from the old computer. How can I delete one set of bookmarks, but keep the set that it's adding on to and keep my folders?

if you run hotmail as pop3 then you can set it to delete the mail from the server when it's downloaded
you do that in account settings in settings
or you can set it to run hotmail as exchange server then it should do it like you want

Preceeding zeros disapprearing in the excel download.

I have programmed ALV report using function module REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
I have declared my final output internal table's batch field as CHARG_D which is of 10 characters.
I have passed field_catelog-no_zero = 'X'. for batch field.
However when I download into excel sheet, preceeding zeros of batch disappearing in excel sheet.
Is there any way to retain the preceeding zeros for batch values and other similar fields values in the excel sheet after download ?

There's a few variations on how to get the data from ALV into Excel and I don't have a system right now, so I can only give a general comment. If the direct export to Excel (OLE) doesn't work, I'd recommend to export the data as local file using format Spreadsheet and give it an extension like ".csv".
When saving the file this way, it really is just a tab separated file (text file, you can view it via Notepad and check for the leading zeros), which you can open in Excel. However, you have to be careful, because when you double-click on the file, Excel will usually open the file directly and format your batch (CHARG_D) field with type General. As a result anything that looks like a number, will be stripped off the leading zeros. Therefore instead you should open the data via the import wizard (e.g. in Excel 2007 it's on the Data ribbon under Get external data and then choosing From text) and reformat the field CHARG_D from General to Text. This will ensure that you'll keep the leading zeros.
There's lots of other ways to do it and my version is probably not the most efficient. However, it works in general, as long as you see the leading zeros in the ALV and is easy to remember (at least for me)...

I am able to view the list of ship to address throuh Edit internal address ( transaction BBPADDRINTC) and I am able to change the default. The requirement is, the requester should not set default at all so it should be cleared even if he sets.
I tried with Badi - BUPA_ADDR_UPDATE. But couldn't find it useful.
Please guide me on this.

Delete the entry from dropdown list in the pop up window in ALV report

Hi All,
I have a requirement in the ALV interactive report ZMM_IMPL .If we enter selection screen parameters its displaying the first screen.If we click on 'Goods Issue' tab ,it display the pop up window for Requirement Pick list with Batch number ,Storage location and Quantity.Here we have F4 option for batch number(MCH1-CHARG) and we could see all batches (with stock and without stock) in the drop down.
Now my requirement is i would need to delete the non stock batches from drop down values.
Ex:we clich F4 in batch number field(CHARG) ,could see 4 batches Test1 ,Test2 ,Test3 and Test4 .Here Test1 ,Test2 are Batch stock and other two are Non stock batches. We could see all these batches (with and without stock) in MCHB table.Now i would need to delete non stock batches(Batch with zero qty (MCHB-CLABS = 0) from drop down.
Any idea on this.

User wants to appear only batches with stock value in the drop down .Here Batches test1, test2 , test3 have stock but test4 has no stock value. Now the requirement is if stock does not exist in any of those batches it should not appear in the drop down and propose batches based on quantity.
Batch stock value can be seen through transaction MB52 and could see only Test1.Test2 and Test3.
