Why Adobe Flush Player 11 cannot be installed?
Hi,
Every time I installe Adobe Flush Player, it does not work.
My system is Windows 7, 32 bit - default browser is Internet Explorer 9.
Each time I try to play a video clip, messaging me "you don't have a latest version of adobe flush player-get it now" - a link is there to download it. When I try to download it using Internt Explorer - I am asked to close the browser and try again. I did the same as required. But still it does not work.
I removed "Adobe Flush Player 10 Plugin" from my installed programs (I am not sure if did the right thing), then I installed again 'Adobe Flush Player 11' but the result is the same.
How can I get the job done.
Thank you,
Microad
Run the Flash Player Uninstaller as applicable for your machine(i.e.Windows or MAC) and remove flash player.
For MAC : http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html
For Windows : http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
Restart the machine.

Adobe Flash Player 10, when installed, closes the whole computer when it is used to play any clip from U Tube or other source. I uninstalled it and there was no further trouble but, of course, I cannot view the clip. If I reinstall it the same problem persists. I have contacted my 'computer guru' but his comment is that many of his clients have the same problem but it appears to be a problem with Adobe however many other friends have put in the version 10 Flash Player and have no problems. I do not appear to have any other problems with the computer such as viruses etc and it is scanned very day for such items. I would appreciate any advice you can give as it is very annoying, thanks, RAB
Me too!
On both IE8 and Firefox. Win 7 32 bit on IBM T42 - 1GB ram.
Old laptop I know but the 10.1.x.x Flash Players worked just fine. Problem started with 10.2.152.26 flash player.
Now BBC TV live and iPlayer work just fine, however YouTube does not - audio but no video. Just a black rectangle where the video should be.
Right click to get the menu and "settings" is greyed out. However select the pop-out option and the video plays. Right click on the pop-out and "settings" is available. So deselect "enable hardware acceleration", close the pop-out and refresh the window (F5) and now YouTube videos play. Switch hardware acceleration back on and now they don't.
This video works fine with hardware acceleration enabled. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/features/video/h264/
These also work. http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/stagevideo.html
Something broken in 10.2, I think. -
Adobe Flash Player cannot work on IE 9 after installation or updates
Because many users creating new bugs for the same problem with Internet Explorer 9
Here is the solution:
https://blogs.adobe.com/cnflash/2011/09/23/adobe-flash-player-cannot-work-on-ie-9-after-in stallation-or-updates/From last 1 week I'm facing an issue with flash player. Each time when I enable Shockwave Flash Object 11.1.102.55 add-on in IE9 it does not allow to load the page and show a message to recover the page and even sometimes browser got crashes. When I disable the Shockwave Flash Object 11.1.102.55 page loaded without flash and works fine.
I have installed Google Chrome and flash is working fine in Google Chrome browser but I need IE9 as most of my application IE9 supporting.
My system configuration is as follows
- OS : Windows Vista 32 Bit with SP2
- Browser : IE 9
- Antivirus: Kaspersky Internet Security
Below are some steps which I have taken to resolve this issue but no success:
- Uninstalled the IE 9 and found the same issue in IE 8
- Enable the ActiveX filter but after that page works fine but flash image will not display
Kindly let me know if you required any log files or information to solve this issue. I need help from adobe to solve my system problem. I have considered above steps also given by you but no use. I have log an issue with https://bugbase.adobe.com/ but not get proper response.

Adobe Flash Player says not installed when it is.
Adobe Flash Player shows as installed on the primary Admin account (and works there) all other Admin and regular user accounts say it isn't installed.
I have tried installing as various users and Administrator status, but I get the same response.
"Install Successful"
"Adobe Flash Player not Installed"
I am new to MAC, but can't fathom how this could be Apples fault. Unfortunately, Adobe support requires Adobe Flash Player to access help content. To find the folder I went to Finder > Library > Internet Plug-ins.
The folder is empty and says 0 files. I am not currently on an Admin log-in, but I'm used to files showing regardless. When installing, I am asked for the Admin account and log in info before the file will load.
I downloaded the latest flash player from Adobe this morning.
Virtual Drive: What I am used to being an installation file in Windows shows up as a disk drive icon on my desktop. I have to "eject disk" to get rid of it. I thought it was just a "MAC" thing. Other software loaded this way, but also had me drag an icon to the Applications folder. Adobe does not.
I am starting to wonder if there is a file sharing issue that isn't allowing me to see some software. I noticed I also do not see data in 'Public' when I know I added pictures there in another account. I can't remember changing any settings on my MBA. I have only had it a month and have been afraid of messing up my first MAC.
Thanks for staying with this. -
Why Adobe Reader XI cannot open a pdf file that can be opened with Reader 9?
Why Adobe Reader XI cannot open a pdf file within a browser that can be opened with Reader 9?
Hi Steve,
Sorry, I cannot post a URL to the file because it is for intenal use only.
I noticed that the pdf file can be opened outside of IE browser if I disable the Adobe Reader add-on (active-X) in IE browser. If I enable the Reader add-on, the Reader cannot complete the file download. The progress bar goes in a half way, and stays there.
Just FYI, the pdf file was created by Distiller 7. Do you think it is the issue of Reader add-on? Thanks. -

MAC Adobe Illustrator CS3 cannot be installed because it conflicts with Adobe Illustrator CS3
Model Name:iMac / Processor Name:Intel Core 2 Duo / Memory:4 GB
When I installed Illustrator CS3 at the first time, I didn't complete it and closed it. While I installed it again, it said "Adobe Illustrator CS3 cannot be installed because it conflicts with Adobe Illustrator CS3". I was be stopped on this step, so I deleted the Illustrator CS3 from Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers without clicking it to uninstall. And I deleted other Illustrator CS3 files. After that, I tried to reinstall Illustrator CS3 again, but it kept to say "Adobe Illustrator CS3 cannot be installed because it conflicts with Adobe Illustrator CS3".
I cannot find any Illustrator in my MAC. What is wrong? How can I install Illustrator again? Should I format the computer and install all the applications again? On the Adobe site probably under support do a search for Adobe CS 3 Clean Up Script.
Before running the script read the instructions al the instructions first, do not assume you understand from reading the first sentence. There are some files that are not so obvious that are necessary for activation and they are probably still around but they can only be removed by the script.
Next time you will have to read the instructions.
The only other ways around this is the do an archival reinstall of your system or if that does not work a complete reinstall of your system. Running the script is the easier and better way to do this but you must read the instructions completely first. -

Adobe Flash player updates not installing! Help?
I am facing problem while installing Adobe Flash Player while updating, Why this is happening? Please help!
Getting error message while I click on Update
I am using Windows XP on HP Mini
http://waxspace.com/Hi DanKao,
You can try this document:
Error "...plug-in is unresponsive" | Google Chrome | Debugging Flash Builder project
For Mozilla:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/warning-unresponsive-plugin
Also if there is any toolbar installed on the browser, try uninstalling it from the browser and check the performance.
If it works then good other wise you can try the following steps:
1. Uninstall Flash Player from Control Panel --> Programs ( Both Active X and Plugin )
2. Download the uninstaller for Flash Player and Sockwave
Flash Player Uninstaller
Shockwave Player Uninstaller
3. Run the Uninstaller for both of them.
4. Delete the Flash Folder from the following locations:
C:\Windows\System32\Macromed
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe
5. Download Flash Player
http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_ 15_active_x.exe
http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_ 15_plugin.exe
Download Both and install.
6. Download Shockwave Flash:
http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/otherversions
You need to open this link in Firefox and download the Full installer after choosing operating system and then again open the same link in IE and download the Full installer after choosing operating system.
Thanks,

Ever since the latest update of the Adobe Flash Player, I think it came out this week.
I can't seem to get it to work with Firefox, I have downloaded the installer, it installs successfully, then I check in Firefox to see if it works. It says that I need to install it?!?! I have tried the offline installer of the Adobe Flash Player, I also tried installing it through Firefox (when you click "Install missing plugins"). That just fails instantly.
I posted on the Adobe Forums, but no luck.
I am getting frustrated with this! I have never had problems with installing the Flash Player, and I didn't install this version any different from the previous versions. Flash Player was working well until the latest update of Flash Player was released.
If I go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash, it shows all the Flash Player files, but it's not showing up in the Firefox addon manager, and not working on YouTube, or any other Flash Player sections of sites.
I installed the 64-bit version, because I have a 64-bit Windows.
It works on IE, but not on Firefox.
It seems like it installs fine, but then it doesn't looks like it "installs" it into Firefox. Or whatever...
Also, I have tried uninstalling it with the Adobe 64-bit Uninstaller, restarting my PC after uninstalling, then install the 64-bit Flash Player for Firefox... doesn't work.
I have done EVERYTHING I can do to try and get it to work, no luck...
Please, any help with be appreciated!Where can I find direct downloads of Flash Player 11 for Windows or Macintosh?

Adobe Flash Player 11- problems installing
I am operating Windows Home (64 bit). I use NORTON Security software. When I open a website that requires Adobe Flash Player 11, I try to download the required file. After going thru the steps to downloade the Flash Player 11, I get a screen that says I have sucessfully downloaded Adobe Flashplayer 11. However every time I try to use a website that requires Adobe Flash Player 11, it says that I don't have Adobe Flash Player 11 installed & that I need to down load the file again. I have done this about a dozen times. What am I missing????
