If you are experiencing difficulties with the connection between your stereo and device, disconnect the device, and then power cycle the stereo and your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. When the Home screen reappears, reconnect your device. If you cannot power cycle the stereo, turn the car off and then back on to allow the stereo to power off.

Hi All can someone outline to me the steps involved in updating my iphone from iOS 4.2.1 to a higher version,its a 3GS
Please read and follow the instructions of the Apple link you posted from. Please note, if you have a 3G as opposed to a 3GS, you can not upgrade above iOS 4.2.1.

every time I try to sync my phone and restore my content after I updated my iPhone, iTunes goes through the prompts and then says "cancelling sync" at step 5. I cannot restore my apps or music!
when i try to sync my music which i have on my PC's itunes it will just not transfere on the phone. everything will sync [apps, videos, contacts] but the music will just not transfere.
and when i try to download the music from the phone's itunes store it will say "Error. Tap again to retry".

i was updated my iphone 4S version yesterday night from version 6.1 to version 6.1.2 using iTunes 11.0.1.12 version. However after i updated my iphone 4s, i realized that my laptop's hardisk usage increases! Before i updated my iphone 4s, my laptop's hardisk free space was around 9.5GB. However after i updated my iphone 4s yesterday night, the hardisk free space suddenly dropped to 3.24GB (Approximately 6GB has used up).
I has been trying to search the reason why the free space can decrease that much at my Local Disk C but i couldnt found any additional files that caused this problem. I believed there is some hidden temporary files which still hidden in my laptop.
Please kindly assist on this matter AS SOON AS POSSIBLE since i dont wish my storage to be used up everytime when i update my iphone version.locating of such files 100% depend on if it's windows or mac

After I updated my iphone 4 to ios 6.1.3 I can no longer connect to my bluetooth, plantronics model M25. I tried reset all settings after turning on and off also submitted diagnostic. Do I have to buy yet another bluetooth set?

Unfortunately on these days I'm in a country that Apple don't have any retail store here and for sake of time I prefer to fix it myself to DHL it to the nearest country to use its warranty. Not only can i not see the individual chaptes -- apparently like you and everyone else suffering through the "improved" iOS7 -- when my audiobook repeats a "file" within chapter, which it sometimes does, I cannot get "inside" the chapter and move forward to where I'm supposed to be.

I can no longer update apps on my iPhone 4s after the IOS 8 update. The IOS 8 update took a very long time to complete, maybe 12 hours, and afterwards, it worked but updating packages were very slow. Package updates have since been problematic and about 4 days ago, it stopped being able to update any packages. I click on them to update and they never make any progress. I have 2.8 Gbytes free and I keep deleting more and more packages, pictures, etc. It seems like, from the amount of stuff that I have deleted, I should have more than 2.8 Gbytes free.
Is anyone else having this kind of problem?16GB iPhone4: Go to Settings, scroll down to iTunes & App Stores and touch. At the top of the next page it shows: Apple ID. Touch this. Select Sign Out. Your Apple ID will go away. Re-enter Apple ID and password. Try App Store again.
Other solutions were to go to Settings:General:Date&Time and turn off auto-update, then change date to next year. This didn't work for me, nor a lot of other users on the forums. It took reading a lot of threads to find the log-out, log-in solution. Even on the official Apple Website all I saw was: Make sure your connection is working, battery is charged, desktop is plugged in when you try to sync. OK I exaggerate, but with all the users posting this problem, you'd think they'd post their solutions when they work with a Tech Help call. -

Most likely the iphone was hacked to unlock it from the original carrier

First, if you have not already, I would restart the iPhone then try again.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
After the device has turned off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

After i updated my iPhone i realized i do not have my camera anymore how to get it back? I also using a new notebook so I do not have a back up to transfer it from. Please help
I'm assuming you mean you don't have your camera application (which is not saved on any backup anyway).
One way to find it is to get to your home screen, swipe the screen from right to left, and type "Camera" in the search field. Camera is a core Apple app and cannot be deleted, so it must be there somewhere.
An alternate approach is to do Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout -

Thanks for the update and clarification. In researching the issue it seems that the 2003 error code may have something to do with the USB connection. I would use this section of one of the above articles:
Get help with iOS update and restore errors
If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you might not be able to update or restore.
To narrow down the issue, you can try different equipment:
Use the USB cable that came with your device, or a different Apple USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port directly on your computer. Don't plug it into your keyboard.
Try a different computer.
Solve other issues with the USB connection, then with your security software.
If you still see the error message, check for hardware issues by following the next section.
Check for hardware issues
Related errors: 1, 3, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
These errors mean that your device or computer might have a hardware issue that stops the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't blocking your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Make sure that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
