I am new in the SAP world. Would like to ask a basic question to experts,
Is there anything in SAP that "All Material in SAP has to be flagged as Inventory Item?
Can any body explain what is the problem with Flagging Direct Purchase Items as non inventory item?

Do you have the most up-to-date version of the app? Did you upgrade to iOS 6? Did you check to make sure that the developer has updated the app for the new OS? Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the app?

How to find out whether a material code in SAP has any transaction history

Hi Guys,
I want to find out whether a material code in SAP has any transaction history or not. In other words, I want a list of all those materials, division-wise, which have not been subjected to any sort of transaction in SAP till date , i.e., lying unused.
Can any of you in help me out regarding this matter ?

Answer to Q . Why SAP has taken Java for their development instead of ABAP completely ?
First of all in my view SAP has not taken Java as Such instead of ABAP .
But you nowdays whole lot of java is coming in SAP by doors of SAP NetWeaver .
Now why they choosed java only <b> IN MY VIEW</b>
1)     Java is open source so SAP in tie up with SUN can develop SAP specific APIs and thats what happenings . In Net Weaver Developer studio (NDS of SAP like eclipe of Java ) we use packages ,classes , methods for SAP.
2)     In my view Java is rocking in Web world , Every single popular product ( like IBM MQ series , Oracle Apps ) is making use Java for making things web based .
So why not SAP .
3)     Now data ultimately data is getting saved in XML . And java is best to deal with that . In SAP also Idoc data is stored in XML and so same data can be used anywhere inspite of Platform , technology .
4)     Java has much established base of web Solution , Web services .They have got beautiful architecture so that Best Web sevices can be developed with EJB (Enter prise java beans ) , sturts and all .
5)     Now Its time for SAP to be Mobile Enabled .i.e. to Run SAP over PDA , Blackberry .Such solutions possible with SAP + Java combination .Java provides that framework to understand Mobile OS platform.
6)     Another thing now Its time of EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) . Integration is future . Multiple product integrated and used togetherly , exchanges data. Take case SAPs message goes to Sieble , people soft .For this Java + XML is best suied as both product understand it .
Utimately SAP is Using java to provide Best Web ERP solutions
But it does not mean ABAP is not there. With webDynpro ABAP you can do every thing that WD java does . In fact incase if you have existing ABAP recourses then use WD ABAP for developing web services in SAP. In uses OO ABAP as base programming language .

Historical. They were created before BADIs and CMOD user exits were invented. The other "old" user exits in SD are the user exit forms.

Are all entries in SAP B1 must be reconciled every time?

Hi guys,
     Lets take a simple e.g. -- In a SAP B1 2007 B PL 7 Fresh Test company (no entry was there previously) I have done one GR-PO and then an A/P Invoice against a Vendor.
     Now the involving each G/L (Row Material, VAT, Trade Creditors, etc.) has one un-reconciled transaction (that is the one and only transaction) u2026. Why ? u2026 Is internal reconciliation is necessary if I do a Year End / Period closing at this point for this company?
     Are all entries in SAP B1 must be reconciled every time? Or only the mismatched entries need to be reconciled?

in 2007 release one of the special feuture added is Automatic reconciliation , there is no need to reconcile each and every transanction unless there is some diffrence in figures, that could be coz of some advance payments etc, as it is done automatically

i have one requirement, that is List of all Reports in SAP.
what is the tcode or table name to get all only reports in sap module wise. i have tryed in TSTC table, but it is showing all tcodes including standard screen programs. i want only reports, that list have to convert in excel file. please help me in this..

RGUGBR00 Substitution/Validation utility
RHGENZ0/HRGRENZ2 Notes RHGRENZ0/2 will abend if there are any inconsistencies between PD and PA (i.e. people in a different controlling area than the position they belong to).
RHGRENZ0 Delimit IT1000 and related 1001s. Program will delete any 1001 infotypes whose start date is after the delimit date.
RHGRENZ1 Extend the end date on delimited records. Very useful when you delimit a bunch of records incorrectly, and need to change the end date.
RHGRENZ2 Delimit IT1001 only.

I want information/training material regarding SAP CRM 7.0 (on system/software working, not the general information, for example- why CRM, where CRM, etc)
For example, about org data, org structure, possible scenarios, etc.

Since You are already a SD Consultant, We assume you are very much familliar with SAP and for you CRM will also be not a big Deal.
Customer Relationships Management (CRM) is a model for managing any Organization's interaction with current and future customers. It involves technology to organize, automate and synchronize SALES, SERVICES(postsales) AND MARKETING(presales).
First of all you need to get SAP CRM installed in your system and then you need to get command over Account and Contact Management (Business Partner). The same can be learned using WebUI or GUI. From GUI the transaction launcher is WUI then web page opens up enter your credentials and select Role - Salespro. Open the Account and Contact section and do some R&D and you can learn. But in GUI you need to go to SPRO -> IMG -> Cross Application Components -> SAP Business Partner -> Business Partner -> Basic Settings -> Number Ranges & Groupings -> Define Number Ranges. Here you have defined number range then you need to assign to some group created from SPRO same way. And Finally maintain Business Partner using Tcode - BP.
Then You Learn Organizational Management which allows us to map our marketing, sales, service structure maintaining company's structure including the position and Employees in an Application and assign specific attributes to the otganizational units.
Path: SPRO -> IMG -> CRM -> Master Data -> Organizational Management -> Organizational Model -> Create Org Model/Change org model.
Just Go ahead and with some more R&D in the system and taking of F1 Help of SAP Documentation I think you can easily learn SAP CRM.

Creation of Material from SAP VIEW using CDESK.

Hi Experts,
I have one question related to creation of Material from SAP View.
CAD file created say SM1000.prt
Create DIR in CAD View say SM1000
Scenario 1 :   Create Material in Background from CAD VIEW or SAP VIEW from cad desktop, It creates material SM1000
                           in background.
Scenario 2 : Open CDESK ( Transaction)
                        Click on OPEN,
                        Selecting the DIR created SM1000
                        Create the material in background in SAP View, it gives message " enter material number"
Why am not able to create the material from SAP view using CAD Desktop. If any modifications needs to be done in CDESK CUS to solve this please let me know.

Hi Sudharshan,
maybe the reason for this is that your CAD applications provides a special material number and the customizing in CDESK is defined to use this number. In this case the number or value can by provided from the CAD application only from the CAD View.
In the SAP view the material gets created like in MM01 for example and so mabye you have to enter a material number.

Are you not able to launch and PDF' or getting some error message ?
You can log in to Adobe.com with your credentials .If you do not have any prior credentials ,you need to create an account .Adobe.com will either let you purchase the product or opt for a trial version.

Condition record not pulled for all material

Hi,
I have three materials in sales order. now, for each material , I am maintaining some condition record in VK11. the problem i face is, if in case I don't maintain condition recrod for condtion ZCD1 for the first material A in sales order, the condtion records that I have maintain for the same condtion ZCD1 for the following materials are also not getting pulled. that's true for all conditiond in my pricing procedure. only those conditions for which system could find records for the first material, it pulls it for all other materials that follow material A in sales order. otherwise, system gives the messgae " condition record has been found but not set "
what could be the reason? this is certainly not the standard behavior.

I have checked this with creating new records for all material for all condtions. but, it is possible that a particular price condtion may not be maintained for the first material and which can very well be maintained for the folllowing materials. in that case, they are not pulled. the records are there for sure for other materials as 1) i could see them in VK13 and 2) the condition analysis tells me that condtion record is found but not set. no clue what it has got anything to do with first material..as soon as i maintain that condtion for first material (even zero value in Vk11), they start appearing for other materials as they are maintained.
