Why all of a sudden are my images missing and have question marks
Hi Guys,
Really irritating thing has started to happen when I use pages. I start my document as usual, drag and drop images into it then save. When I try to resave it complains of not being able to save the document. I then save as another file name, try to reopen and all my images are now boxes with question marks on them. I havent moved any folders or anything. Its only recently started doing this. I'm on Pages 4.1.
Can anyone help me please?

1 in 7 people here bother thanking us for helping them, so the points don't really reflect how much work we put into answering their problems.
Some even provide basic information to help resolve their own issues. Some are like the Korean lady who asked me to set up a Korean DTP system for her years ago. It was obvious that she wasn't giving me all the disks necessary for the Korean installion, grudgingly I dragged them out of her one by one.
I remember looking her in the eyes and wondering exactly what was going on in her mind, I knew one of us wanted to get the job done and go home. Still a mystery to me to this day. But then she is not alone in this world.

You might have Zoom on. To turn it off go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom, set to Off. Double-tap with three fingers to zoom out and drag with three fingers to move the screen with zoom on.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Why all the sudden are my bookmarks missing and all my addons disabled?
The other day my son told me firefox crashed now when I open it all my bookmarks are missing and all of my addons are disabled. Not sure if he did something or if FF updated causing the issue. Looks like current version using is 9.0.1 Yahoo edition which i don't think is version I've been using. Can I see if this is a recent update & if I can go back to previous version which contains all my bookmarks and addons I had set up? Don't know what to do.
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to do a compatibility check or see if there is a compatibility update available.

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always. -

yes styles are applied. What does not show up are the container divs - they all have the thin purple borders.
The "Blog Lovers" image shows up but it is inside the #blogindex div - which seems to be invisible because the elements inside #blogindex div are just piled on top of each other. (see below html) This is now happening on all the pages of this site.
(I test a different site in DW and I was able to add divs and borders and content inside divs just fine.)

Can anyone explain why all of my Spry Assets on a live website have suddenly stopped working?
Can anyone explain why all of my Spry Assets on a live website have stopped responding? I have checked that the Spry CSS and JS files are in place. Then checked the files on Dreamweavers live view and they are not working there either. It was fine a few weeks ago, it is almost as if the web browsers have stopped rending Spry, for example, the links for the collapsible panels are not even being recognised as links.
I am using 'old' spry assets on Dreamweaver CS4 (if that makes a difference). The Spry Assets used are Tabbed Panels and Collapsible Panels.

my ipad2 will not connect to the internet, it says that it "unable to join"...but my laptop is connected to the internet.... i don't understand why all of a sudden it stopped connecting it dosent make sense.
hmm, well I would say that raises the possibility of an issue with your ipad, and lessens one with your router.

Since you are running Lion, you will not see Exposé & Spaces - they don't exist in Lion.
Their function, that of multiple desktop arrangements, has been replaced by Mission Control.
You may have accidentally set up Mission Control; or inadvertantly activated it. The latter is easy to do if you're using a Magic Mouse - a two-finger double-tap (not click) on the mouse will engage Mission Control.
The two-finger double-tap can be deactivated in System Preferences > Mouse > More Gestures. Uncheck the Mission Control item, and it won't respond that way to a two-finger double-tap again. You can then still access Mission Control via its icon in the Dock.
To get rid of extra desktops in Mission Control, activate Mission Control. Then hover the cursor over the desktop you'd like to remove; a circled-X will appear in one corner of that disktop - click it and that desktop will be removed. Any open program using that desktop will then be moved to another, yet-available desktop.
There is a control pane for Mission Control in System Preferences. Selecting that will allow you to make some settings re how Mission Control behaves, including the setting/clearing of a hot corner. -
Why are some of my movies not syncing while others are? All of my movies are in m4v form, and some of them sync but some of them don't. When using Connection Doctor to see what is could be causing the issue, look for the red dots to let you know what is wrong. Then all you have to do is correct that information. You can double click on the section that is giving you issue and it will take you there. Most issues could be just password being entered incorrectly. Thanks everyone...the problem seem to be with the battery itself. I've had this phone for about 6 months. Up until a few days ago I had no problems...charge would last for up to 2 days. All of a sudden it draining like crazy. I ran batter doctor and closed everything that could drain the batter. Still no luck. Battery drained 3% in less then 10 minutes.
I've contacted our local Verizon store and they will take care of the problem.
I appreciate everyone's suggestions.
