Why am I getting 2 and 3 copies of each email I receive on my IPad?

Every single time I use my Ipad, I have over 1,000 emails. This is because there are 2,3 and sometimes 4 copies of each email I receive. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is there a setting that I must change or something? I am so tired of deleting all these extra emails. This never used to happen. It has only been happening in the last month. I received this Ipad for my birthday last year in July. Please help.

try disabling email scanning in your anti virus program. They often are the cause of multiple copies of the same email.

Is this a POP (POP3) email account? If so, you MacBook Pro may be retrieving the email and deleting it off the server before your phone can. Another possibility is that both your Mac and your phone are trying to retrieving it at the same time, and the POP server, which will only allow a single email client connection at a time, is locking out your phone resulting in the "has not been downloaded from the server" error.

I can restore the artwork (and make my apple tv see the movie exists as well) by going into the movie library and clicking on each movie by hand, slecting get info, and then selecting enter. Now doing this 10 times in 20 days was fun and all BUT I would really like to automate the process so everytime itunes screws it up I can fix it easier.

Why am I'm getting two copies of each email?

I'm trying to resolve a problem with backups cause by a corrupt SharePoint database on my SBS 2011 Server. I mention that to let you know I've been mucking around inside SBS2011 Standard. I haven't touched my Windows 8.1 Pro x64 with Outlook 2013
x64 client machine.
Although I don't recall touching Exchange or Outlook, this morning, outlook 2013 x64 is showing two copies of each incoming email.
First there's a container message titled Microsoft Outlook <[email protected]>; on behalf of;
[email protected] with the real message as an attachment.
Then the real message it self is delivered titled
[email protected] I am list just one occurrence as an example.

Did you mean that the copied email is sent from
[email protected]? Is this a system E-mail?

Why can't I drag and drop photos from iPhoto on my iMac to my iPad?

I have thousands of photos on my iMac and often want to copy a few dozen to my iPad to bring to my relatives. It seems that I should be able to create an album on my iMac and drag it to my iPad but I can't. Didn't Apple get where it is by making things simple like drag and drop? Why is it like a state secret to get some photos moved over? I'd really like to know the reason. I don't want a convoluted work-around. This isn't Windows!
Come on Apple, give us simplicity or at least a USB port to copy stuff!

Thanks for the reply. I guess I was a bit steamed. I know how to sync photos but object to having to treat my photos on the iPad in such an unintuitive way. Maybe I'm alone ( but I doubt it ) but I have photos on my iPad and iPhone for several different purposes. I keep photos of things I want to paint, photos of friends and relatives, photos of items I saw that I may want to buy and snapped the ISBN code. Photos of book list of authors I like that I want to read so if I see one in a used book store I remember which ones I haven't read yet. I don't think this is unreasonable or even something that only I want. I don't want to delete all of this every time I want to add another photo. I know I can back it up to my iMac and restore it plus the new photo later but this is not what I expect or want from Apple. I have had Apple products since the Apple II and Macs since March 1984 and it was because Apple always seemed to try and figure what the user wanted first and foremost but this seems to have changed. I would prefer most iPhoto and iTunes app versions from ten years ago to those coming out now because they valued intuitive interface over exotic features. Apple is the product 'for the rest of us' but not anymore it seems.
Maybe there are some good reasons why Apple is doing it, security, contracts, etc but I'd like to know. Maybe some of the users know and will give straight answers.

Can someone tell me how to get the start and end times for each step in a background job? Table TBTCP only stores the time that the step was saved in a background job. Table TBTCO stores the times for the entire job and not each individual step.

I used to get photos and pics via ATT/Yahoo email, now they show up in the email as HTML code. What's the fix?

My husband has the same phone, we purchased them at the same time. I sent him the same photos in the same email that I downloaded them from and on his phone they show up with the normal higher resolution. Is it possible that there is something wrong with my iPhone or is there a setting that can be changed? I'm still learning to use it. All my other photos are of normal resolution. Does this make any sense to anyone?

"Other" is all of your app data, files and documents, bookmarks, Safari History, emails, Notes, Calendars, Contacts, photos associated with contacts, your Camera Roll or Saved Album in the Photos app - non purchased content. You need your "other" but it should not become bloated to more than .75GB in most cases. That is a sign that the sync went screwy.
The last resort is to restore the iPad, but quite often another sync, restart or a reset will clear it up as well.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

This morning flash asked me to update to the latest flashplayer. After clicking "download", explorer starts and on the site there is a button "update". After clicking on the button, not only flash gets updatet. Chrome and google toolbar is also installed... Why? There is no checkbox to prevent this.. Why?
Why is adobe doing this? When you install chrome... you don't need google toolbar..right? Please make a checkbox for the next update. Now i have to uninstall google toolbal..again..

I was talking about a update, I already had flash installed but i got a notification from the program that a update was availible.
I updated te program, how do i make a screenshot? It's not possible to update it again.
I'm sure there was no checkbox. The whole page was different from the screenshot you posted. For example the yellow butten didn't say 'download now' but 'update'.

Why are companies getting more and more difficult to contact via phone?

I recently had a problem with Fandango, then Roxio, and now Adobe and tried to call someone in the USA with no luck. I am tired of getting some guy in India (or anyone anywhere else) helping me with products I purchased from a US company with US dollars, to be used in the US! This crap to save money has GOT to end! Now, when I ask to be transferred to someone in the Us, they say they cannot do so. I hang up! Sirius radio is even worse regarding this by the way! I also tried emailing these idiots with no response. Does ANYONE know how to contact a US customer service rep? This country is going down the toilet, just like George Carlin said it would!

This is something that has been bothering me more and more as time moves forward.
The two biggest companies that I call for support, VMware and SonicWALL, have transitioned to this model. While it has been going on for a while, the time "wasted" waiting for call backs, not being able to move away from my desk for hours on end, and not being able to get a definitive time for the call backs is hampering my ability to do my job. I can't even start another support call with another vendor in fear of missing a call back.
Anyone else notice this trend with other vendors?

Hello PC users! I have installed iTunes on my laptop confirmed correct installation by Apple tech and iTunes will not connect. Pswd and user I D have been confirmed, no error messages it just says connecting to iTunes store and it never does. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling using Apple downloads. Still nothing? any clues?

With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:
