Why am I getting a 'This content not authorised' when trying to play a rented movie?

Rented a movie on iTunes on my iPad, done it before with no issues but when I went to play I receive a message 'This content not authorised'
Any suggestions?

I am using a mid-2010 Mac Book and the iPhone 6. I can't imagine that it is due to the age of my Mac because if it was disqualified, then we would not get the option to use it to take calls.

I get the same message and stating that both the iPhone and Mac must be on the same network, which they are. I was able to call from my iPad through the iPhone on the same network I'm using for the iMac and iPhone. I've tried several settings configurations on the iPhone but to no avail.

It's common in the sense that you'll see this issue arise in the community from time to time, but in the context that the community is the place that users bring their problems it's probably similar to a broken shoulder which may be common at the hospital but not so common amongst the population that the hospital serves.
In many cases the problem can be solved by restarting the Apple TV (pull the power for best results) and/or restarting your router. Persistent problems may indicate a network issue such as interference locally or a slow download speed from your service provider. Try the restarts and see if that helps.

Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

Getting message "file cannot be found" when trying to play music in iTunes

When trying to play ANY music in my iTunes Library I get the message that the file containing the music cannot be found. I recently updated to the latest version of iTunes - is this the problem or is it something else?? I thought that at least the songs purchased from the iTunes Store would play but they do not. I receive the same message which asks if I want to attempt to locate the file. I click yes and that takes me to the iTunes Library which gets me nowhere. Anyone have any ideas????? I have used iTunes for years with no problems before this.

First, try Repairing Disk Permissions. Quit all open applications. Launch Disk Utility, it's in your Applications/Utilities folder. Select MacintoshHD 10.x.x in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab, then click Repair Disk Permissions. Only takes a few minutes to run, then Quit Disk Utility. Reboot your PBook and launch iTunes. See if you can play a track...
If not... with iTunes open, select iTunes Store, then from the Menu Bar, click Store/Authorize Computer and see if that works. If that doesn't work ...
Quit iTunes. Try dragging the com.apple.iTunes.plist file from the HD/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences folder to your Desktop. Launch iTunes and see if you can play tracks. If you can, drag that file back to the Preferences folder. If not, drag that file to the Trash, empty the Trash and reboot. It could be your iTunes preferences file is corrupted and needs replacing. Your Mac will create a new pref file for you the next time you launch iTunes.

I keep getting "Availabe space is not enough" when trying to restore. How to get around this?!

I recently purchased a B320 all-in-one PC.
I'm trying to use OneKey Recovery to restore the PC back to factory image, but on a 128GB SSD, and not a 1TB drive (as originally came with the PC). But every time I try to restore the PC to the 128GB SSD, it gives me a "Available space is not enough" message even though the SSD drive has 119GB free.
Any ideas on how I can get around this?

This kind of error normally occurs if there is any changes made to the service partion .
Now to restore to factory default you can use the recovery media which you might have created using the OKR. This will help you restoring the system to factory default

Why am I getting an unknown error has occurred when trying to download apps

For the past 12 hours I have been getting a message, 'an error has occurred' when trying to update any existing apps or downloading any new apps. Anybody experiencing the same thing or know what I can do?

Were you able to find a solution to this issue? I am also getting the 'an error has occurred' message when trying to download or update any apps on my iPhone. Restarted, updated, re-booted, etc etc, nothing has worked.

It could be because you have cellular data turned off. You can turn it back on in Settings

I had a similar problem with a tv show. I contacted Apple Support and got the following instructions:
"please delete the episode from your iPad and then redownload it directly to the device. You can download past tv show, app, music, and book purchases without incurring additional charges as long as what you want to download is showing on your Purchased page. Some content may not be available for download again if its provider no longer offers it on the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.
To enable this feature, you must have the latest version of iTunes. It is available on the Apple website:

I tried it this morning, and it worked.

After accessing a web site through a link I get the message file not found when trying to access it again.

This has happened on several sites. I have tried to access the same links through Chrome and do not have a problem there.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Are you using cleanup software like CCleaner or other software that may corrupt the cache?
You can try to delete the entire cache folder. 
You can find the location of the cache folder on the about:cache page (open via the location bar, like a web page).
You can check the browser.cache.disk.enable pref on the about:config page to verify that the disk cache is enabled (should be true).

Why do i get error 7 at new file when trying to run the calibration?

We have installed the DAQ software/drivers and then installed the Labview calibration program all according to the user manual. As soon as we try to start the calibration after clicking "OK" when prompted to insert the standard unit, I get a message saying "Error 7 occured at New File". How do I change the file path manually?

Ummm... well, that's a little more information, but it doesn't help to shed any real light. You still have not explained what LabVIEW program you're running. Is this something you wrote? Is this something you got from somewhere? Did it come with the light meters? Can you post the code?

Getting error "This file was removed" when trying to use sdk/test/httpd.

Hi, I wish to test my website using httpd.js. Now when I am trying create a add-on and use sdk/test/httpd by adding following line

Why am I getting an invalid serial number response when trying to install Photoshop Elements 10 on my new Windows 8.1 PC. It worked perfectly well on old now defunct Windows Vista PC

i'm not able to install Photoshop Elements 10 on my new PC. I'm told the serial number is invalid. Why? It has 24 digits separated into 4 digits at a time by hyphens. Am I typing it wrongly?
