Why am I getting constantly logged out of this forum?

It seems I have to keep logging in every time I sue thiese discussions. Is there some way to stay logged in, as with other forums?

I leave Safari open, but if I come back an hour or two later I have to sign in again (sometimes two or three times before it actually works.
That is the way it should work.
I find it hard to believe that you are supposed to have to attempt two or three logins.
However this is odd, in the post earlier you said one is supposed to stay logged on if the browser is left open, nothing about getting looged off after a certain number of hours (or minures)

We use "PrintWriter out=response.getWriter()"to get a "out" object in Servlet and output text to webbrowser with it.But I think the PrintWriter is a class and Why can't I get the object "out" use this way:"PrintWriter out=new PrintWriter()"?I think the later is easier to understand.Anyone can help me?

I check the Servlet API.The PrintWriter has a constructor with a abstract object Writer as it's parameter.I couldn't create the Writer object so I can't create the out object. Why it's constructor is protected by java?

Unless I delete cookies and then close tab the "user +"sign out" route fails.

Does this also happen in a Private Browsing mode window?
If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies got corrupted.
*Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b> (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

  • How do I get a date out of this: 14:35:42.0868394-08:00  ???

I am receiving an XML document from a person who generates it via a .Net page. This is supposed to be a date/time object.  In his .Net code he uses the object just fine.  I have asked that he translate it to something more standards like {ts '2012-03-01 15:59:45'} but he won't and said I should just figure it out... Nice, huh?
Does anyone have any idea how I can get a date out of this value:
    14:35:42.0868394-08:00 ???
I know that the last part (-08:00) refers to Pacific Standard Time.  I am pretty sure that the 14:35:42 represents 2:35:42  PM.  If that is correct, the 0868394 must represent 3/1/2012 (the day I ran the report).
    Please help.

-08:00 may indeed refer to the time zone. However, if you're expecting the date-time, then he is shortchanging you. What he has sent you is just the time in hours, minutes and seconds, with the seconds expressed in 7 decimal places.
You could just ignore the decimal places, and extract the time as follows
    <cfset datetime_string = "14:35:42.0868394-08:00">
    <cfset the_time            = listgetat(datetime_string, 1, ".")>
    <cfoutput>#the_time#</cfoutput>

Why do I get a message something like this following message in GarageBand? "Unexpected audio request...(Elastic audio)(-10024)"

    Hi lizz4321,
A digital ID is made up of three components; a private key, a corresponding public key, and some identifying information. The keys themselves are pretty straight forward, they are just big blobs of numbers used to encrypt and decrypt data. It's the identifying information that gets a bit tricky. On first look, the identifying information looks like plain text. You'll see your name and the issuer's name, a serial number, some dates for when the validity starts and ends. All pretty straight forward.
However, all of this information is actually formatted using something called ASN.1 (it stands for Abstract Syntax Notation) and then encoded using BER (Basic Encoding Rules). When someone creates a digital ID they can put just about anything in there. Per specifications (RFC 5280 if you wanted to look it up) some items are required, and others are optional. Each piece of information that goes into the public-key certificate (the PKC is basically the digital ID without the private key) is contained in an extension. These extensions are identified using an OID (Object ID) and conform to a specification which may either be public or confidential.
There are two possibilities in the case you are seeing. Either, some of the information that Acrobat knows about was formatted or encoded incorrectly, or, there is an optional entry that Acrobat doesn't understand how to decode. My guess is it's the latter possibility. There is a rule that states if an extension is marked as critical, and the application using the public-key certificate (in this case the application would be Acrobat), doesn't understand the extension, then the application is supposed to reject the certificate. It could be the former case (badly formatted data), but without seeing the certificate all I can do is guess.

  • I get unexpectedly logged out from my mail box and and recieve the following message: "The custom error module does not recognize this error."

I am repeatedly and unexpectedly logged-out from my mail box when working on a document. It frequently happens when I choose Send or Save, but it could happen any time. The file that I worked on disappears completely. Before, the file could be found in the draft box or some other place categorized as Auto Recovery. Now, instead, I get the following message: "The custom error module does not recognize this error." I am working at home, connected to a university server. The same problem appears with both of my computers, which are connected by a router. I have a MacBook Pro and am working with Firefox 6.0.2. I have a wireless broadband connection with Internet. AirPort is connected to Lindstrom and has IP address 192.168.0.198. Router: D-Link Model DIR-635. Modem: ZyXEL Model No. 660H D Triple Play Modem.

    Hi Phil,
Generally, when a user sends an incoming request to an Exchange 2010 Client Access server using Outlook Web App and the user’s mailbox is on an Exchange 2010 mailbox in a different Active Directory site,
Exchange 2010 determines whether the Client Access server has the
ExternalURL property set in that Active Directory site. If it is and the cross-site silent redirection has been enabled, the user will be automatically redirected to the specified URL.
Thus, please make sure the External URL property is set properly in your environment. And also
disable the WindowsAuthentication for OWA VD to have a try. If the issue persists, please try the following KB to reset the Outlook Web Access-related virtual directories:

Sorry for the late reply.  Yes, the ExternalURL is set; otherwise, it wouldn't work at all.  98% of the time everything is fine.
My issue described a problem that appears only during session timeouts.  I've pretty much verified that this is the case; Exchange 2010 does not appropriately handle the timeouts sometimes when using cross-site redirection.

  • Ibook constantly logs out so wont record eye tv

    Hi,
I have 2 users on my mac. I need eye tv to be able to record. At the moment my energy settings are only to put the computer to sleep.
However, it keeps going to the log in screen when not used. This is frustrating because I need to stay in to open eye tv to record.
Any idea how to get it to stop logging out?
    Thanks
    Angus

Check the Security preferences pane - make sure it isn't set to automatically log you out.

  • Error 201; CC desktop app constantly logged out, won't redownload

Running CC on Windows 7, 64bit. Have run into the "Please log in/You are now logged out" loop before, so uninstalled the CC desktop app, renamed the OOBE file to OOBE_OLD, and attempted to re-download and re-install the CC app. This worked last time, but today every time I attempt to download, it gives me error code 201 and tells me to seek help.
There does not appear to be anything pertinent to this issue on the forums already. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Why do I get a Track out of memory error while running open loop frequency response?

MatrixX Build 61mx1411: I get a "Track out of memory" error when I run the Open Loop Frequency Response from the MatrixX pull down tools. What can I do to prevent this? We are running on an HP B1000 with 768 MB of RAM under HP-UX 10.2.

In the old days of Mx say Version 5 and prior the user actually selected the amount of memory that would be allocated. Depending on the size of the model etc. you would have to allocate memory. In version 6.0 and going forward there is no need for the user to manually allocate the memory.
    Build {rstack=50000,istack=200000,sstack=50000,cstack=500 000}
If this is a command in a script file that you are running and the error is resulting from that then I would try commenting out everything after the letter d in the word build and then starting it back up.
    i.e. only use Build
I don't believe that there is a way to manually allocate the initial SystemBuild Stack size.
I believe initially the stack size is set to 10010.
    However, one way
you can manually set the initial SystemBuild stack size,is to create a large StateSpace as soon as you start up SystemBuild. This will prevent piece-meal reallocs while using SystemBuild.
You can created a new SuperBlock in SystemBuild and then drop down a StateSpace Block with 199 inputs and 199 Outputs and 1 State and entered ones(200,200)as the StateSpace Matrix without any problems. This would resize this internal stack to at least 40000.
You really should not have to do this but if that helps then you might think about doing this in your startup.ms file you could use SBA or load the file then you could delete the superblock and begin working.
"Bob" gave me this little tid bit.
Please let me know if any of this is of use.

  • How do I keep myself active so I don't get auto-logged out?

    Hi,
My wife & I have a computer that we share with our young kids. They each have their own account with Parental Controls turned on and time limits and it all works well with one exception. When they run out of time, their programs (often resource-intensive Safari) stay open and using CPU and memory and making the computer run slowly. We want to try setting the Security preference to log out after X minutes of inactivity, but we don't want the account we use to be auto-logged out.
My thought was that maybe there is a simple piece of software that could do something every few minutes that would keep her account active. Thinking about it now, I'll bet there are a lot of users who have the opposite problem - they want to be logged out when they are inactive, but something is keeping them active!
Anyway, does anyone know of a simple program that will keep her active so she doesn't seem to be inactive even when she is so we can 'trick' the Mac into thinking she never goes inactive? Then we can set the preference to log out inactive users, thus fixing the problem of our kids' programs running even after they've used up their time for the day.
Or maybe there is another solution to this problem. Any thoughts?
    TIA,
    Thad

Mac OS X is a multi-User system. Settings for Parental Controls are on a per-User basis.
Parental Controls do not apply to your Account, unless you set your account to have some Parental Controls as well.

  • IChat constantly logging out/losing connection to host, fix

This worked for me. After trashing every iChat pref file Spotlight would show me and restarting, continually renew my DHCP lease on every quit. sometimes every 5 minutes, posting to this forum and getting some honest help, and Archiving and Installing, the problem persisted. I have never been wireless before so I was frustrated, with this going on for weeks. I have an EH100 (eHome). I went to Network settings>DHCP Server settings. Unchecked Enable DHCP Server. iChat went Offline. I then Rechecked Enable DHCP Server and have been running for 48 hours without an disconnect. I hope this helps someone. I know I have been totally frustrated by this problem, as many here have.

    Hi ekryss,
    Ahh the simple things.
It can be frustrating trying to find these little things.
Glad you have found a solution and thanks for sharing it with us.

  • Any way to stop being logged out of the forums every 10 minutes?

Since the recent alteration of the forum, I keep getting logged out. Is there any way to increase the time or keep me logged in at all?

    ben...........
Not in Safari, The timeout length is ±30 minutes. I found that it is particularly annoying when composing a post, as it will not Post when logged out in the middle of composition.
I use Firefox and a FF add-on called "Reload Every" - applied to a tab or window, I set it to 'Custom' 20 minutes. You must apply it every time you start FF (from the 'context' menu (ctrl+click). Note that the Tab or window needs to remain open at all times (could hide it in the Dock) for it to work. I haven't been logged out since adding it to FF
The very good reason for the login timeout is that some people use their devices in very public places - school, work, coffee shop, etc. - and may walk away from it (particularly a desktop) for a period   Because AppleID is used in the iStore(s), being logged in may become a security risk,
NOTE: There is also a time limit to be able to Edit your post. That seems to be ±15 minutes

  • Cannot log out of the forums...

About some of the new problems in these forums, Jochem wrote in another thread (http://forums.adobe.com/message/2399480#2399480)
I figured out what is going on. As soon as you log in your profile settings are partially reset. At the very least your "Last Name" is set to "Hide", not sure which other profile settings are reset when you log in.
As for me one of the main problems is that I was given a new identity, I decided to give this a try. Therefore, I used the "Sign out" button of the top row, logged in again using my normal ID and password, and found that apparently there had been no change in the forums. The only apparent change was that I am now welcomed as "Claudio González" in the rop row, but I am still logged in as "Claudio_González" in here:
As reported in other threads, the information in my new profile is wrong, and I don't know if, once these new problems get solved -if they ever do- the data such as posts count of this new identity will be merged in my old, normal identity. Which is still there...

After posting my previous message, I entered the main page of this forum using Safari 4.0.4 / Vista, and this is what I got:
(Sorry, I am receiving an error messge saying that I the contents of this image is not allowed. It's a plain JPG screenshot well below the maximum sizes).
What I see: No name by the Welcome of the top row, no Sign Out message, welcome in the forums as Claudio_González.
And I haven't logged in in any of the cases I have reported since last night, so it's not me who has been choosing identities.
Last minute additions (in Explorer/Vista now):
    1. I am randomly getting hard returns I haven't typed.
    2. I cannot change the font of this message to Verdana.
