Why am I getting the wrong version of my photos in photo stream?

I am using iphoto '11 v. 9.2.1. Basically I have gone around in circles but firstly should say I have reset photo stream in icloud.com and on all devices including my Mac. I have iphoto on the Mac and have uploaded some photos from the camera from a recent trip. This is all as I would normally do. After a couple of edits I now have two versions of the photo in the event album - the edited and unedited both with the same name. I am guessing this is like the old iphoto's two libraries?? Anyway that's not really the problem I don't think but when I drag the edited version of the image to my photo stream (I have automatic turned off at the moment) it is the unedited version that shows up there.
Am I missing something obvious here? All I really want to do is use the photo stream to allow me to then save the images in a new folder on the ipad so I can bore some friends with our photos of the trip and of course I want to show them the beautiful edited versions not the unedited?

Hi - thanks for the reply. I have tried your suggested test and it is the same
I also tried changing the name of the edited version and also deleted the original versions. My event folder was just left with all the edited versions but still when I dragged them over the the photo stream it showed the unedited.
Stuck - I am assuming that if when I save the file after editing I save as and create a completely different version then this would overcome the issue - I'm just not sure I should have to do that??

the jtabbedpane is inside a jframe
(between the jframe and the jtabbedpane there's also a bar tho i think it doesnt mattter)
when i get the jbutton coordinates with .getX(); and .getY();
i get the correct X coordinate
but i get the wrong Y coordinate (the Y coordinate i get is at the top of my jframe window)
why?

Why do I get the trial version box appear?

Over the past week or so, every time I open an application the Adobe CC trial box appears asking if I would like to carry on with the trial. I have been a subscriber for over a year so not sure why I get this. I have to quit it every time for each application...any ideas on how I can get rid of it?

When you get the trial box pop up, it will give you an option to click on license this software.
Please click on it and enter your Adobe id and password to activate the product.

All my photos in iphoto and emails are coming up with the wrong date. Why is this and how can I correct it?
I have made sure that the computer's date and time are ok.

i am in tokyo and i just want to get the English version of JRE and JDK. Why is it so difficult, I have been trying for the last 8 hours to find mirrors and other versions and installing all of them only to see they are all in Japanese and I don't know why. I checked my settings, my local language is German or English, i.e. not Japanese, and always I install it it's in Japanese and afterwards I get the compiler messages in Japanese and I don't understand them.
And then... why is it so difficult to make a comment at sun? i have been to ibm's page and google, you just fill out a form send it, it takes 5 secs, here it takes 20 minutes to find where you can ask a question, then some more to fill out the questionaire...

You probally ARE getting the english version. If you are using a japanese version of windows or an english version of windows with the locale setting set to Japan then all of the menus (including the installer) will be displayed in japanese. So it just seems like you are installing a japanese version.
To check your local in windows 2000 go to the control panel and then choose regional options. Then, select the general tab and change your locale to one of the English locales. Also, if you want to keep your locale setting set to Japan there are other workarounds. However, first try this.

Did you reinstall lately?
My 10.4.11 Drive seemes to have iTunes 7.6.2 on it, have you tried Software update to see if iTunes is listed?
Another 10.4.11 drive has iTunes 6.05 on it... I hate upgrading iTunes, seems worse at every upgrade.
The 10.5.8 drive I'm booted from now has iTunes 8.02 on it.

If you ordered Acrobat via subscription, then you can use either Windows or Mac version. Just download/install the Mac version, then activate it with your Adobe ID.
If you purchased the perpetual license, then you need to Contact Customer Care bu chat or phone.

I have downloaded 15 versions of Firefox this week - 8 were on Wednesday. Why can't I get the latest version the first time I download instead of having to download each change even though you make 8 changes in one day. This is getting tiresome.!!!!!

When I first pull up Firefox it often says I'm not using the latest version. I go to the download page and start the download. Then when its completed and the start page comes up it usually says I don't have the latest version. I went through 8 downloads on Wednesday January 4 before I got the latest. Why do cloud subscribers get Adobe Story Plus while CS6 owners only get the free version?

After putting it off since its release, I finally decided to try Story. I'm very happy with my existing screenwriting software but hey, there are these great integration benefits with the post production software I spend my life in so why not?
Well, I just found out those of us who purchased CS6 get the free version of Story while cloud subscribers get Plus. Why? This feels like I'm being penalized for having opted to upgrade from CS5.5 rather than switching over to the cloud. I realize there's a $10 a month option to get Plus but dropping an extra $120 a year when I'm already happy with Movie Magic Screenwriter doesn't make financial sense to me. The only reason I was going to try using Story was for the scheduling tools and the workflow integration but that integration should be part of the Production Premium Suite, not $120 extra per year.
I upgraded to CS6 the day it was released so obviously I can't go back and switch to the cloud and I'm not spending $120 a year so I guess I wont use Story.
Very disappointing Adobe.

I will need a little more information in order to help out. What model of printer is it that you own? Are you able to ePrint with the machine when you send emails to it? Have you every been able to successfully download apps to the machine without getting the error message? Do the apps that you download successfully download at any time after that error and later work?

Muse uses AIR and if that is installed in Norwegian, so Muse will show stuff in that language. You may simply need to reinstall Adobe AIR in English.
