Why am I getting unable to purchase message from App Store for free apps on my I pad?

Sign out of your Apple ID, reboot yor iPad and sign in again.
Settings>iTunes and App Store. Tap your ID and sign out.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Go go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store. Sign in. Try to download the free apps again.

You will only be able to buy items in an app if you are signed into and use the same account that you originally bought that app with - is that the account that you are signed into ?

If you've bought them recently, it's not actually an authorization issue; the songs are corrupt. Delete and redownload them if doing so is free in your country.

Getting Unable to Purchase messages when buying video

Hi,
Probably more often than not, when I go to purchase a video on my iPhone (iOS 4.1), I get a box that comes up and "Unable to purchase". However, that's not true and the purchase goes through successfully despite that error message. So, basically, the message is annoying. Is there anything I can do to stop from those messages from popping up?

I have the same problem, whether it's purchasing an App, free apps, or updates. But like you said, the download and install works but the messages are annoying. Looks like a small bug?

Same error message, I disabled tab mix and made sure I only have the newest version of Java, restarted firefox, now it seems to be fine no error yet on Pogo games or pictures upload to ebay which were the biggest problems besides hanging. I had also had disabled AVG secure search yesterday but that did not solve the issue. Now I will try to add back in AVG search...I have very few adds ons, also the note embedded about re- installing a toolbar went away, my old one did not work with FF4, so I installed Yahoo toolbar but the message still did not go away until I applied this fix. Hopes this helps someone..

Sure.
To manually initiate a resumable download (music) simply choose Advanced > Check for Purchases.
After you choose Check for Purchases, iTunes will then ask you to log into your iTMS account. Type in your username and password and then click Check.
If there is any purchased content that did not completely download, content will start to download from where it left off. You will see the status in the iTunes display.

Why do i get Flash Player Error message from my CD projector disk?

When I try and play a the projector CD I get an Adobe Flash Palyer message stating that "10.1r52 has a problem". It plays on most systems but a few laptop systems generate this error message. The laptops are new Dell's. Is there an update to Catalyst that I need, or is there a setting I am missing when I generate the projector?

The error tells me either the media is bad or the optical drive is bad. Since you have tried several brands this points more in the direction of the optical drive.
I would suggest that you get one the optical drive cleaning disk and try that.
If that doesn't improve things it sounds like replacement is in order.
Is you MBP still under warranty?

I am trying to install the Google Authenticator app and I'm getting a popup saying "This item is free in the store. This item will be added to your Purchases, and will be available even if your Family Sharing status changes." and there is Cancel and Download. Every time I tap Download the popup continues to popup and its annoying the crap out of me. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ASAP

There is a bug in the system as apple is preparing for all of their updates but the revolution is to go to iTunes on your computer > then click on the iTunes store > click on your account (email address top left and than account) > iTunes in the cloud > hidden purchases > find the app you are trying to install in that list and unhide it. Once it has been unhidden you can download it with no problem

How do I get BACK to my ipod from I store, with new itunes?

So I start my I tunes..
It goes to my Apps.. OOps, I have 1 update available.
It goes to the down load page.
I can download it, or refuse it.. and then it takes me to the ITunes store.
How do I get back to my own Ipod? I cannot find the menu option. seems the only way is to exit Itunes and restart.
I really do not like this new Itunes format. its so frustrating.

You can't put music directly onto your iPod from a memory stick. You can, however, get iTunes to recognize the tracks on the stick without having to copy them to the computer. Go to the iTunes Advanced preferences and uncheck the option to "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library". Then use the Add to Library command or drag the tracks into the iTunes window. iTunes will recognize the track files on the memory stick and allow you to sync them to the iPod. Note that when you remove the memory stick, iTunes will of course then not be able to play nor sync the tracks until you put the stick back in. It may therefore be better to just clear some space on your computer's hard drive.

I set up an AppleID independently of setting up an iPad. I tried to download the free iBooks app and came to a screen asking for the AppleID and then requiring that I enter a payment method. I have seen in forums that this is a common problem. I have updated the os to 5.1. I have tried to log in to iTunes on my pc but with the same result.
Is it yet possible to set up an App store account without payment method using an existing AppleID?

The iBooks app comes pre installed on an iPad.
If you can't locate the iBooks app, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout
If that didn't help, swipe left of the Home screen. Type iBooks in the search field.

just call them...i bought my PB when it came out...but I had an issue recently and called them up and they helped me out....
