I am getting the message that 'An error occurred downloading iOS 6' on my iPad and iPhone when trying to update through Settings/General/Software Update. And when I try to download and install Version 10.7 on my PC I am getting the message that I have an 'invalid signature and unable to install the upgrade'.

You are only as young as you feel......
This is an example of how you can select the exact content that you want to sync to your device. You do not have to sync the entire iTunes library. You can pick and choose the music, apps, books and so on that you want to sync. This is using music as an example.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on only the albums or playlists that you want to sync.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
You can do this with apps, books, movies .... Whatever .... You have the freedom to sync whatever you want. -
What can I do to get "maps" to work on my Macbook Pro, iPad and iPhone when connected to wifi at home. iPhone "maps" work fine when connected to cellular service. Maps on wifi shows me about 55 minutes away from my current location. Very frustrating. I called Time Warne,r my service provider, but they had no answers since they were not knowledgeable of this situation. Anyone else having problem? I just updated all devices to newest update. Is that the problem.
Did you bring your wireless router with you? If so, it's possible the iPad is getting its location through the router and the router still "thinks" it's where you used to live.
Try taking your iPad to another location where there is wifi (such as a coffee shop). Then, try an app that uses location services. If it's accurate at another location, then the source of your problem is your router.

My friend who is handicapped recently upgrade her iPad2 and iPhone 5 to ios7. Immediately her iPad and iPhone showed over 60,000 pieces of mail. Has anyone heard of this happening?
Try a reset ..
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
See if that makes a difference .. -
I used to be able to print from my ipad and iphone5 but can't now. Why?
does it not show a printer when you use airprint? were you using airprint or a thirdparty app to print? Some basic steps would to be power cycle your iPad and iPhone and also the printer, and make sure they are all on the same wireless network if you are using air print.

how can i relsolve my wifi issue with ios6 with my ipad. its been three days without internet. my ipad is having trouble detecting a wifi signal it finds my home network and then disaapears within seconds
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X. -

Yes you solved your own question, use printer handles color, whcih shodul have been the default. If you do want to experiment with Photohsop manages color, try the CMYK profiles, and send a cmyk file. Only exception is if you print to one of the few RGB printers like a lambda.

I have an iphone 4s and upgrade to ios6. It wont connect now after the upgrade to itunes and the itunes doesnt regonize the device. Im so freaking sad. Please somebody give me a fix. Why did I have to upgrade to ios6? Please somebody let me see the light.
I cant even get into itunes because it wont recognize it to do a reboot or a rollback.The terms of service of the Apple Support Communities prevent us from helping anyone with a jailbroken phone.

We are all users, just like yourself. We are not Adobe technical support. In order for us to give you any help that will be of value, we need your help. We need to know your OS, how much RAM, other information about your computer system, what you have tried, exactly what happens when Lightroom "won't recognize your camera" or "tethering doesn't work." It would be nice to know if there are any error messages, if you have tried adjusting settings in your camera, etc., etc. Nobody here is trying to be smart when they ask for these details. It is the way a user-to-user forum works. -
