The file is a .pdf. My bank lets me "view" my monthly statement. It opens in Adobe, and I save the file. Since I updated to v4, all I get is a blank tab. I updated Adobe Reader and the Adobe plug in. Still get a blank tab. I un-installed v4 and installed v3.6.1.6 and it works just fine. I'd like to use v4, if I could get this problem solved. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
Did you post from the system that has the problem? (Your "More System Details" list shows Flash 11.7 instead of 11.8 for some reason.)
This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues with Flash in Firefox. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:
(1) Make sure all recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them.
(2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash ''(I see from your post that you've done this part)''
(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"

(3) Disable protected mode (Windows Vista/7/8)

Why am I having this problem importing photos from iPhone to iPhoto?
I'm getting the error:
Error downloading image.
iPhoto cannot import your photos because there was a problem downloading an image.
when I "Import All..." from my iPhone. Trying to import individual images I get
The following file cannot be imported. (The file is in an unrecognized format.)

I can import the Photos when I am logged-in with other user profile in same macbook air.
It's not working with Image capture and Preview too.
PS: Images are not corrupt as it's getting imported through other user profile,so it's the issue with Iphoto.
I have done below steps but none of this fixed the issue:
1. Uninstalled Iphoto and installed it again.
2. Deleted the old iphoto library and created a new one.
3. Rebuild the library.
4. Repaired permissions using Disk Utility,
Could anyone give me solution for this.

Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. If you've intentionally set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it, but you do need to follow the instructions below.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select

ive been trying to update since friday my internet is perfect [speedtest.net] itunes just wont get past [backing up ipod[ i hope they fix this soon and i just wanted to see if anybody else was also having this problem because i want the new features coming with ios but its just not working and it took all night just to get roughly to about 20% completion of backing up ipod then when i got home it said "could not restore ipod its still on firmware 4.3.3 so i dont know why it said could not restore i did click "update" but anyway im having this problem and wondering if anyone else is {i think everybodys having problems itunes10.5 right nowI am having the same problem (lost in back-up purgatory) on both my iPhone 4 and my iPad2. I have tried everything I've seen suggested on various support communities, with no success.
I have gotten used to having to find a windows workaround everytime Apple updates iTunes, and this time it is especially frustrating.
I don't have any solutions, and I am responding to all of these types of messages in hopes of finding something that will work for me.
One person was able to work through it by deleting all of the previous iTunes backup files. I'm trying that now. 4 hours into it, and it does not seem to be working...... -
Firefox is crashing every time I have my MSN email account up. (Since I use it for business, that's many times per day.) It seems to coincide with hotmail's latest update where the email is checked and downloaded to the inbox automatically. Then when it asks me if I want to send the crash report to Firefox, I select yes and it tells me it had trouble sending the report. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a setting I can change? I can't seem to keep my email account up for more than 10 minutes.
p.s if you're reading this Microsoft, it's still not bad enough to make me to go back to Internet Explorer!Hi,

Everytime I put my iphone5 on charge now matter where I am and even when I have signal it always drops the signal and continues to have no signal until I take it off charge. I have the up to date software on it and everything and is relatively new. Is anyone else having this problem and how do I fix it?

I pad 2 is locking up on a regular basis. Is any one else having this problem. Also Safari doesnt seem to work as well as the old version.
Similar problem running a 27" iMac only it occurs in Excel and inDesign. Hit the cell with the curser and the worksheet moves over to the right 7 or 8 cells away. Have to curser back to the cell quite frequently. This issue make the machine unusable when working with those two aps. Today I did the ultimate and completely reloaded Yosemite and the problem is still there.

My iphone 4s voice dictiation for text messages is not consistently working. I've had the phone since Thanksgiving and it always worked perfectly, but the last few weeks it's been hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else having this problem? I tried the hard reset but that hasn't fixed it.
I have the same problem since updating to IOS 8.3. Any app to which I want to send a new link via IMessage does not allow me to select a contact to send the IMessage to. Using a pre-existing thread does not have same problem.

Problems with iTunes/ipad2 I'm trying to buy FREE apps and I'm being told my card is declined but I also have more then enough credit on my account! Anyone having this problem?
Part of the validation for credit cards is that they need to be registered to exactly the same name and address that you have on your iTunes account, which prepaid cards tend not to be. Do you have a proper credit card that you could use ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you could try using them as your payment method ?
Until you have a valid payment method on your account and what you owe iTunes has been paid off then you won't be able to download any item from the store, including free apps (and updates to apps). -
I was just having this problem until today. It is now all sorted and I can explain what to do very simply and easily.
I remembered the answers to my questions, I just forgot "EXACTLY" how I entered the text - so I had to have them reset. The easiest way is to sign in through www.appleid.com. Then on the right click the "Manage your Account" link and sign in. Easy so far right. Then, as others have said, look on the left of the screen you will see a link called "Password and Security" - click on this. Now this is where the confusion begins. Some people have a link located directly under the existing questions that looks like this "Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to blah blah blah email . If you see this click it and it will send an email to the "Rescue Email" address that you entered when you originally entered your answers. Follow the instructions contained in this email and you are done. If you cannot remember this email address or you have since closed it, you will need to go to the Itunes Express lane and send an email to Apple requesting them to reset your answers.
HOWEVER IF YOU DO NOT SEE A THIS LINK UNDER THE QUESTIONS - this means that you DID NOT enter a Rescue email address when you originally set your questions. The only way you can now reset your Security Questions and Answers is to go to the Itunes Express lane and email Apple asking to have these reset. I have 2 apple accounts, one for myself and one for my daughter - as I did not include a rescue email I had to email apple. On both occasions, these questions were reset and an email sent to me exactly 24 hours after I sent them the request. I entered the new details, WROTE THEM DOWN EXACTLY AS I ENTERED THEM THIS TIME, entered a Rescue Email this time and I am good to go again. Simple. Now when I log in and click on "Password and Security" I do have the reset link visable. Apple support are good, they just take a bit of time to get things done, but they always seem to get there in the end. I just wish someone had taken the time to explain this somewhere else in the forum as it would have saved me much time and angst.
To get to the Itunes Express Lane go to this website www.appleid.com make sure the correct country is displayed top right, if not change it. Once this is saved go to the tabs at the top of the screen and click Support. Then halfway down the next page you will see a photo of two random people with a title of Contact Apple Support - Click this. Scroll down until you see the itunes logo, to the right of this you will see the link Express Lane for iTunes Player and iTunes Store - click on this. One the right hand side of the next page click on the link "itunes Store". On the next page click the link "Account Management" check the radio button beside "itunes store account security", select your country from the drop down box and click "Continue". Under the heading MORE OPTIONS, you will see a clickable link called email - click this. Fill in your name, Apple ID and country. Then in the text box, write "I have forgotten the answers to my Security questions, would you kindly please reset them. Thank-You". Then Click Continue, you will be given a reference number and an email is sent to your address advising that generally someone will attend to your request within 24 hours. Like I said previously, I had to do this twice and both times it was reset however it was done within about 5 minutes of the 24 hour cut off, so you will have to be patient. I know 100% that this works for Australia - I am guessing other countries should be similar. Hope this helps someone somewhere!Standard troubleshooting...
1. Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
2. Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider if it comes up. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
3. Remove apps from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Swipe up on the app preview card
- Press the home button when done.
4. If still a problem restore with your backup.
5. If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.
