Why am I having to restore my phone for the new update? I have never had to do this.
New Update Problem
I did the normal by pressing the Install button and it went black and said plug into iTunes. I did that and the only option I had was to restore my phone. I tried reseting it and shutting it down and it just went black and then back to the screen that says plug into iTunes.

After uploading our phones with the latest update, we have noticed that the battery life has deminished considerably. I now have to charge my phone overnight and two or three times a day. Prior to the update, my battery life lasted me at least a full day. We have several phones in our office and the ones that have updated (4) now have issue holding a charge/battery life. I really liked this phone and can not believe that you are now going to charge us $79 a battery to fix what is most definately a problem with your latest update. I know other people outside of our company that are having the same problem. Not to mention when I called AT&T it was confirmed to me that they are hearing the same issue and then some from other customers as well. Your own people, once I talked to them earlier today, told me they are showing a history of issues that are showing up after the update was put in place. Of course she tried to say, "Maybe the age of the battery and the update both contributed". Whatever.
I want you all to know how disappointed I am in your company for the handling of this issue. I always thought "Apple" was the line I didn't have to worry about having any types of issue. And that you all would stand behined your product 100%. Now I am not so sure.
I would love to hear back from your company on how you perceive the issue with all of these phones that prior to the update didn't have any issues and how after the update THEY ARE NOW having issues. I do not believe this was an issue due to the age of a battery and that was pretty lame to say so. It was fine and now its not.
Please feel free to contact me and help me figure out a way to pay for all of the batteries that will be needed for our company to contiue doing business as needed.

I've never dropped my phone for the 7 months that I've had it but last night I was at a park and when I sat down at a table, my phone as in my pocket and I heard a pop. I took my phone out and the entire screen was cracked. what should I do?
Probably not, since user-caused damage isn't covered by the warranty. But you can take the iPhone to an Apple Store and see if there's anything they can do for you. A phone company store will not service your iPhone at all, to the best of my knowledge.

I recently connected my iPhone 3GS to my computer, for the new update 3.4.5, but i didn't load at all. Not even after 3 hours..
so i tried to disconnect the phone, but the loading meter is still there like it's frozen can't push any button or anything at all.. what should i do?Restart your iPhone by holding down the on/off and home buttons until your see the Apple logo.

Don't know. Have you taken the basic troubleshooting steps outlined in the User Guide? What exactly have you done to troubleshoot your issue?

I would like to either enter my passwords on my phone over the computer or avoid doing it at all. Is there anyway I can do that? Like I said my keyboard is messed up and I have to turn my phone to the side to use the keyboard, but entering in the passwords the phone wont turn to the side. Help!!!!
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
There is no option to enter the password on the computer.
If the screen will not rotate, ensure that Portrait Lock is not enabled. -
MHmu phone isn't working properly and I don't know how to fix it
I went back to iOS 7 and my backup file is restoring but when its done nothing is on my phone still and only takes 11-15 minutes to restore the backup instead of taking 25+ minutes like usual so I guess the backup is corrupted. How can I fix this?

Why does Google Toolbar not work with the newer versions of Firefox.
Google have stopped supporting Google Toolbar on the latest versions of Firefox. Apparently one of the reasons for this decision is that modern browsers already tend to support many of the functions that google toolbar provides.
Firefox does allow you to specifically bookmark sites you have chosen, and also automatically remembers many of the sites you visit.

My iphone 5S all of a sudden has went to shutdown mode and when i restarted it; The touch ID button wont work and it won't even give me the chance to re-add a new finger print, I tried updating the new 8.1.3 Update the day after but it keeps telling me that the update has failed, I've also tried restore to factory settings but it didn't work even in the recovery mode, Can anyone please help?

If the steps provided in that article didn't work, then you will need to contact Apple Support. From the article:
If the button or switch still isn't working, if it works intermittently, or if it's damaged, contact Apple Support to set up service.

I updated my iPhone 4s to the iOS 5.1 last Friday. I noticed the next day that the pictures that I had taken with only this phone were gone from my photos. I still have over 1600 pictures on my phone that are there, only the ones taken from this device are missing. Where did they go when I syned my phone? I can't find them in my iTunes.
You should be importing all pics taken with iphone to your computer regularly, particularly before any update, restore, etc.
If for some reason you have failed to do this, tehn they are very likely gone.
You can try restoring from backup. -
Why is my page orientation button not working with the new update to pages?
Since I have updated my pages my print orientation button is not working. amy ideas as to why that is and are ther many people with this problem???
We are all busy with many other problems in Pages 5.
Unless you have found some real reason to use Pages 5 just go back to Pages '09 which should still be in your Applications folder, until Apple sorts this all out.

I went to do software update on my Iphone 4s. When it restarted the phone the usb plug, arrow button pointing up and the Itunes app appeared on my screen. It seems my phone crapped out on me. Is there anyway to recover my information. I also plugged it into my laptop and opened itunes and it says phone needs to recovery but if I hit yes I will lose all my data. Can anyone please help me?

Is the message refering to a specific .msi file? If so, which particular .msi is it referring to? (iTunes.msi, bonjour.msi, AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi, etc.)
