Why am I having trouble connecting to hotmail? This has just started. Firefox tells me you cannot find my server. I am able to do everything else on the computer. Thank you for any help you can give me.
When I try to pull up hotmail, a screen comes up that it cannot find server. I also have gmail and I have no problems with that.
I have the same problem...Hotmail say to optimize the browser you use, so we need to know how to optimise FF 3.5.13 please..

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions; nobody on these boards can.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I have read so many comments about Flash being incompatible with Lion I was wondering whether to download it or not. So many sites on the Web still require flash, however, you almost don't have a choice but to download it even if it is incompatible. I gather a better version of Flash will be available for Lion soon. Again, thanks for the help. I will download the latest version of Flash.

I have just started using iPhone 4s and cannot find how to delete photos. Have used iPhone 3 GS for last 2 years and not had this problem. I have iCloud for my Apple family and don't know if this is causing problem. Help please.
Log in to icloud.com with your Apple ID. Once you're logged in, click on your name on the upper right corner. Click Advanced and then Reset Photo Stream. This will delete all your photos in the album Photo Stream in your iPhone 4S so make sure you have backed up (copy to Camera Roll or new folder) all those that you want to keep.
This is the only way to do it with iOS 5 (not the beta releases)

Though it's unlikely to be wrong if things were set up properly in the first place, as a check go to Mail Preferences>Accounts and check that the server setting for IMAP (incoming) is imap.mail.me.com (not just mail.me.com).
Your next step either way would be to go to System Preferences>iCloud and sign out, then sign back in again. (You can ignore warnings about data disappearing - your calendars etc. will disappear when you sign out but reappear when you sign back in). -

MHFor network access plugins, I suggest checking with your employer's IT personnel. They probably have tested this and can let you know whether there is a solution or you should downgrade.

Hi. I am really frustrated with Apple support. After two hours of trying to navigate their support site, I finally gave up. I really hope someone here will be kind enough to help me find a solution to my problem.
My iTunes always launched with my account, my library, etc. present. Now it launches in a generic form with none of my information present. It also has no "sign in" area so I can get to my data. I'm not sure what happened, can anyone help?

JoeI've not noticed this but haven't looked for it either - I suspect you are seeing 'normal' behaviour for AppleTV 2/3 - in other words it's ignoring the iTunes flags.
With AppleTV 1 I used to set playback start/end times using Get Info in iTunes for certain self-indulgent music videos I'd bought which had several minutes of 'acting dialogue' you'd only endure once - this allowedme to shuffle music videos with only the song part of the video being played not all the waffle before the song started. AppleTV 2 and 3 ignore this setting.
Also, with AppleTV1 if you unticked the check box next to stuff you never wanted to stream AppleTV would behave as expected and not display it at all - useful for preventing non-family friendly material from streaming in the first place or excluding seasonal material and do forth. AppleTV 2/3 completely ignore the checkboxes on iTunes ans stream everything though you can of course enable parental controls.
Hard to know if it's the AppleTV's ignoring the info or iTunes not sending it to them in the first place.

I am running out of usage space. How do I increase the total amount of space I have on my iPhone4S: for things like programs & apps such as, iTunes & more music & like MusicTube & YouTube. The only reason I have any space now is because the music that I had downloaded and synced onto my phone from iTunes I had to take it all off. I would really really love to be able to put my music back onto my iPhone. Currently I'm using apps like Spotify, AOLradio, and MusicTube to listen to music. Thank you so very much in advance for any help that may be given!
Also to add to my original question: is what I'm asking even a possibility??? Meaning is there even a way to get more usage space? Or do I have to just continue to work within the confines that apple has preset on the phone?

I hope someone can help me with the above question about using a porable speaker for awhile and then being unable to have sound on my computer after I remove the speaker. I don't know how to recover the sound unless I turn off the computer...and this is frustrating when I'm receiving a Skype call ( we live overseas and receive callls fairly often). Thanks for any help on this problem. It just started a week or so ago though I've been streming TV with this speaker for several months without the problem.

Yes, you've missed the download step.
Open the Kindle app and navigate to your Library. There is a tab at the bottom that says Cloud | Device. Tap the Cloud tab and tap the books you want to download to the device. You will see a progress indicator during the download. Once it's done, read away! -

Deleting Photos from an iPhoto Library:
1 - from an Event or the Photos mode: select the photo(s) and use the Delete key to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the iPhoto Trash bin as follows:
2 - from an album, smart album, book, slideshow, card, etc.: select the photo(s) and use the key combination of Command+Option+Delete to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the trash bin as above.
NOTE: deleting a photo from an album, slideshow, book, etc., with only the Delete key only deletes that photo from that item. Deleting a photo from an Event deletes ALL occurences of that photo in the library.

Computer is an HP Envy 17 laptop. Firefox does not appear on Task Manager list of processes or applications. System restore did not fix problem. Google Chrome works ok. Internet Explorer works ok until I try to download Firefox. Then it too crashes. This pc has been running Firefox fine since I purchased it 10 months ago. I upgraded FF3 to 4 then to 5 with no problems. Suddenly yesterday it stopped working. There is no error message and evidently FF does not launch because there is no listing of Firefox in Task Manager processes or applications. I tried uninstalling Firefox, then tried to download it usingInternet Explorer, but when I click on the download button at the Mozilla site, Internet Explorer crashes. I did a system restore to 8/16/11 when Firefox was still working. This restored the program but it still does not run. Google Chrome seems to run fine. My internet access is via wifi through an Actiontec router and Verizon Fios. I am running Symantec Endpoint virus protection and do not have any Norton or Skype programs listed in Control Panel. My pc is set for automatic updates from Microsoft and from HP. They both say my software is up to date. Is there a fix for this problem or is it a sinister plot by Microsoft to force us to use Internet Explorer?
