Why am I having trouble opening my gmail account on safari? It's driving me crazy! =(

Can anyone help me? I have been having trouble opening my gmail account with Safari this week. I had to download firefox in order to check my email. It's terrible!

I have multiple gmail accounts that are linked through gmail.
Only some open in Safari. I also had to use Firefox to access these accounts.
Today, in Safari, I secondary clicked in the address bar while the page was stuck loading. I found an option "Open URL" which I clicked on, and the account page opened quickly.
I tried this several times and so far this has always worked.
To be sure that you are clicking in the address bar, the address should be highlighted.
I know that this is several months since your post, and I do not know if you have found a solution, but I thought I would share this work around. And I hope this helps.

You might be better off deleting the account and starting all over again with the account. Here is a gmail help site that will take you through all of the set up steps.

Why am I having trouble opening Firefox when I can easily open Internet Expolorer and my e-mail. I prefer Firefox, but I seem to be doomed to use I.E.

Didn't know this was a "descirption" field, but, my problem, as shown below, is that I cannot easily open Firefox as I once could. So, I'm using I.E., but I wish I were back in Firefox as my bookmarks/favourites are there.

I am having a problem using quick launch buttons for FoxFire only. My quick launch buttons work great for everything but FoxFire??? Also when Fox Fire updates, it always deletes all my quick launch buttons??? Is there a reason why it does this??? Please assist me because I prefer using FoxFire over all others. Thank you Tony

Can anyone out there help me figure out why I am having trouble opening a gray scale tiff in ID and

I have been opening tiffs and coloring them successfully for years, and all of a sudden it is not working. I made a logo in Illustrator, saved it as an ai, opened that in PS, saved as a grayscale tiff, and then opened it in ID. First the white background box was there, so I went back into Illustrator and knocked out group, then in PS preserved transparancy. I succeeded in losing the white box, but then in ID when I tried to color it, nothing happened. I checked all my ID settings, and just cannot figure out why this is happening.

Colorizing in ID works for NON-transparent grayscales or Bitmap mode raster files only.
A Bitmap mode image in a frame filled with [None] and colorized will appear transparent in the white areas, but you'll need to ad a clipping path for grayscale, or change the blend mode and live with overprints, which you probbly don't want.

Problems checking gmail account using Safari

Hi there! I am having problems checking my gmail account using Safari. I can get to the site, log in, but as soon as it starts loading the page, my safari just freezes. Does anyone else have this same problem? If anyone knows a solution, i would greatly appreciate a little help. Also, i've relocated to another country, so i don't have access to an apple support center. but i would really like to get this problem solved on my own. Thanks much!!

Go to settings/Safari/Block cookies/click - from third parties. You can not click always - it will not let you access iTunes store
Once you complete settings do hard reset. Hold top and home buttons same time till screen goes black an comes back with apple.

Yes... I can confirm this too...
If I load up my clips with no audio into the timeline, stuttering is there immediately.
Then I add an audio track to the timeline and the stutter vanishes.
Then, if I turn down the volume of the audio to zereo or - 46 dB. The stuttering reappears.
If, however, I place the cursor (Skimmer) in a clip prior to hitting play, the stutter vanishes yet again...
I adore FCPx and after getting to know it, there really is NO going back for me. This app is more than a decade ahead of its time and it's new. And still in a sort of beta-phase. At least that is what I tell myself so that I can deal with it ;-)
At least now we know ONE reason why stuttering appears and by identifying the problem, we can solve it !

This is so stupid I can't get any help I need from any one I don't know what I am even doing here. I have tried to contact adobe but all they want you to do is join or become a member of their boards and that is it. I am having trouble opening flash help on cs6 and no one can help me do it. I have join all that adobe wants me to join I have done and paid out all that adobe has requested why can't I get help when I need it with their products?

Having Trouble Opening .EPS File

I am trying to open a .eps file in Illustrator CS3. As it is trying to open the progress bar for Parsing EPS format appears. Once the bar reaches the end, an error message shows up saying operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. Can anyone please tell me why this is happening? Even tried opening it up in Photoshop and paring error message appeared. I am using a PC on windows Vista. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I received the emailed file in zip. Tried opening it with illustrator and the same problem happened again. Any reason why it may still not be opening up? Do you recommend maybe reinstalling illustrator. This problem never happened before. Thanks

Was it emailed to you?
Email servers often corrupt eps files. It's best to have the person zip the file before sending it.

Having Trouble Opening TIFF Files

I'm having trouble opening TIFF files into Camera Raw. I have checked all my settings in Adobe Bridge and everything seems to be saying that TIFF files should open in Camera Raw when I click on then int and then into photoshop when finished editing in camera raw.
I'm trying to open 32 bit HDR images saved as a TIFF file into Camera Raw, and there seems to be nothing I can do to get them there. I have tried everything I can think of. When I right click on it (cmd click I'm on a mac) the option to open in camera Raw isn't there. I have tried clicking and dragging the image into Photoshop to try and force it maybe to open into Camera Raw, and I have opened photoshop and tried opeing it up from mini Bridge. In mini bridge I have the option to open the image into Camera Raw when I click this nothing happens.
I'm not sure what else to try I'm on CS6 and Camera Raw 7.0 .

It might be that you need to update camera raw to version 8.3 by going to Help>Updates from within photoshop or bridge.
(i don't remember exactly in which version of acr that was added, but probably after version 7.0)

If the camera is fairly new then the version of ACR you have with CS5 won't be able to read those file. You'll need to upgrade to a newer version of Photoshop or use Lightroom 5.
Once a new version of Photoshop comes out Adobe does not support updating ACR from the older version of PS.
