Why am I not able to log in to apple account on my new ipad when I can on my computer?
I just bought an ipad. Today I signed in to my account on my desktop and created a new password. No problems here. But ipad doesn't recognize the same information. Any suggestion?
Did you setup your iPad properly?
Setup New iPad
1. Turn on iPad
2. Set Language; tap arrow on top right
3. Set Country; tap Next
4. Enable Location Service; tap Next
5. Setup WiFi (connect to internet)
6. Setup as new; tap Next
7. Sign-in with Apple ID
8. Agree with Apple Terms and Conditions
9. Enable iCloud
10. Enable Find My iPad
11. Register iPad
12. Start using iPad

Why can you not login into the account ? You should be able to if you remember the account's password, if you can't then you can get it reset e.g. by answering your account's security questions : http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't reset it via your security questions then contact Support in your country, they should be able to reset your password (and security questions) for you (after they've verified your id and that it's your account).

This is entirely a carrier issue. If your carrier (airtel) doesn't provide service outside of Mumbia, this has nothing to do with your iPhone.

My iphone App Store indicates that I need to update my Backup Assistant. I have tried about 30 times to log into my Apple account using every login I can think of and it continually tells me it is invalid or incorrect. I have changed my password/ID at least 20 times. What can I do?
Use the correct login/password that the app was purchased with.

I had purchased full version of an application "Fairy Fiasco" on 25 March, 2014 for Rs. 350, but my account got debited for Rs. 60 too. Can you please advise of it's reason. I had only purchased this one application and the price shown there was Rs. 350, then what was this extra Rs. 60 for.

Did you add or change your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you did then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge (i.e. the 60) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

Why can't i log into my gmail account from my New iPad
My iPhone and Mac Book will both allow me to log in, but with the New iPad Google does not seem to recognize my user name and/or password.
Of you can set up a gmail account as an Exchange account. I have found that this works better for me for my gmail account. You set up Google Sync which has the added bonus of keeping all your contacts on Google's servers so they are never lost. Lose your phone or get a new one that supports Google Sync and you automatically get your address book back.

There is a limitation on this with the address book though. For some reason you can't create custom telephone or address ID's on Gmail and then have them transfer to your Address book. Most of my contacts have multiple phone lines, my wife for example has two work telephone numbers that I need to keep track of and I am stuck with them both being labled work rathern than being able to identify which is which. This is an annoyance but not big enough for me to take the time to move all of my contacts into the address book on my phone and risk losing them if I were to lose my phone. -

Problem: imessage signed out my apple account, I've changed the password and I am able to sign into my apple id online. I dont know what is wrong because when I try to sign in, it does then when it is on the verifing stage it goes back to the sign-in page

I have PURSCHASED an audio book, but when I changed my iPad the items I had purschased did not come up in my history, does anyone one know how I can get these back without having to pay again?
Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download. Have you not got a copy of it on your computer and/or on a backup that you can sync to the iPad ? Something is wrong with iCloud on my laptop, I signed in but says that the ID is valid but not a iCloud what is that? I can login on my browser online so why is it say sign in using my Apple ID and I did. Please help thank you.
Try resetting the device (not to factory, but just to clear any problems) by pressing down the wake/sleep button and home button together for 10 - 20 seconds or until the apple logo appears. this apple id is valid but not an icloud account

That's a very interesting find. A couple people have been reporting this. But we thought it was Google breaking that page on purpose because they plan to remove that special Firefox search page. They think it's too old and want people to switch to the newer one. But I'm still not sure why being signed into Google breaks that page (and signing out fixes it), I believe Google is at fault here and needs to update the code on that page.

I have tried all I can to load iTunes cards into my iPad without success. Upon giving one of the cards to a friend he conveniently loaded. I keep getting the error message: "The code you entered is not recognized as a valid code". I just don't know what to do as I need to use these cards to make purchases off the I tunes store.

I've just had my hard drive go caput and after purchasing a new one was inclined to install snow leopard but received an error message when attempting to do so.
I did not create a back up or restore file before I decided to upgrade from snow leopard.
I'm wondering why am I not able to simply install snow leopard on a brand new hard drive. What would clue it into me having had ran lion before and why can't I simply delete that kernel or said file. It makes completely no sense to me. I come from a pc world where if I choose to format a hard drive, I can do a clean install of whatever OS I choose. After all I only paid for my laptop as should be able to do with it what I wish.
Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated1. Was Lion on the machine and trying to downgrade?
2. If so this might be an issue. Newer machines are done for current OSX.
3. If you have Lion on your machine try to install Snow Leopard on another partition or portable HD
4. After you format and install SL on the other partition or drive Try to boot from this machine retarting and holding the Option key at boot up.
5. See if that work.
This is a trial and error way but Mountain Lion is right around the corner and Snow Leopard is 2+ yrs old.
