Why am I prompted to download the .asp file whenever I attempt to view an asp page in a browser?
I am doing tutorials on dynamic pages in Dreamweaver 8. I am doing both php and asp. When I preview an asp page, for instance, it displays properly - from 'Localhost.' When I enter the url of the page in a browser, however, the 'Do you want to open or save this file?' prompt appears. (See attachment 'Doc1')
What gives? Thank you.
The same thing happens with php pages. I can preview them ok. But when I try to view them in the browser on the WWW, instead of page content, I get the prompt to download the file.

your web server is not setup to process asp files.

Why is it, after I downloaded the new version of steve jobs, I lost all my highlighted placements in the book and whenever I tried to highlight something, it lags tremendously. Is there a reason for this?
And all placement in which I highlighted in previous version of the book, it directs me to a completely different page and sentence in which I highlighted previously. And the frustrating is, I can't delete the false highlight.

I tried playing a you tube video, but received a message prompt to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. The link to Adobe stated that there are issues with MAC OS X 10.7 and Flash Player 10.3. The new version did not download. Any Suggestion

Hi, I am prompted to download the latest I Tunes software (10.7) (I have done this sucessfully for other versions many times before)
The process starts but stops quite quickly.A message pops up "Errors have occured while installing updates, if the problem persists choose Tools>Download Only and install manually" When I try this it still fails but another message pops up "Invalid signature, the download has been removed"
Not very sharp on computers so any help would be appreciated.

I was prompted to download the new version of Adobe Reader XI 10.0.03. I now cannot open any document. I have never had trouble before. It gives me an error message: “Adobe Reader cannot open in protected mode due to an incompatability with your system configuration. Would you like to open Adobe reader with protected mode disabled.” I tried a number of things including clicking on the first and last options the prompt gives. Help!
Three things to try...
Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
Can you open Adobe Reader by itself? If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].
It could even be a malware issue; see http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html -
why is it when i download the software update for iphone an error pops out when downloading is finish and processing file is being done...i've already tried several time but still the same result.
Disasble the computer's security software during the download and update.

I am nearly out of iCloud storage but I have over 3 gb on my iPad. I just bought a game that requires 1.5 gb but will not download to my iPad because it says that there's not enough storage in the cloud. Why can't I just download the game to my iPad?
That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. Why is that when I downloaded the iOS 7 for my iphone 5 that it changed my send and receive for imessages to a random number but my SMS messages are still linked to my phone number?
I just encountered this problem for the first time and stumbled upon this forum to find a solution. I played around with it a bit and it seems that if you slide your finger from the bottom up, you will come upon that new screen that will allow you to do various functions with your phone (put it in airport mode, lock, etc.), you can select your Airport from this screen and play your music wirelessly from your phone; at least this was my experience. You can copy iTunes purchased songs over to your computer's iTunes library via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, or have you tried going to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes and seeing if you can redownload them on your computer ?

After being prompted to download the latest software my iPad froze when it got to the Terms and conditions part. It's now totally frozen, any suggestions?
Reset iPad and start all over again.
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Followed instructions to uninstall iTunes and related components and files, but still get error that the "exe" file cannot be downloaded. Any suggestions on what to do next? This all started because I wanted to sync my iphone to the computer.
I was able to successfully download iTunes after repeated attempts to remove Apple Mobile Device Support finally worked. Had to repair, re-install, then uninstall it. Found useful tips on how to do that in topic "Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows Updates" by turingtest2. After that, my browsers (IE or Firefox) would only partially download the iTunes install file. So paused virus scanner and Windows Defender. and uninstalled iCloud. Eventually IE downloaded the "exe" file and I was able to run it (albeit with several false starts).
Now trying to reinstall iCloud.

I am not able to download the .dmg file for my mac book pro. pls help.
i am using a mac book pro - mac os x 10.6.4 on a 2.33 ghz intel core duo processor. i am unable to fully download the .dmg file to install firefox. the file begins download within the browser itself and the browser window screen goes black after a while and stays there. no .dmg file to be seen. pls help.
The latest version iOS 6 does not run on the original iPad. That's why you cannot download it.

D7100 requires ACR 7.4 so that is not possible with Photoshop CS4.
