Why am I receiving emails twice

every morning I read my emails keeping some dumpingothers. logging on again later on in the day I recieve the same batch of emails again!

How does that issue relate to Firefox, the web browser? Does it involve web mail that you are viewing thru Firefox?
Or did you mis-post in the Firefox forum rather than posting in the the Thunderbird queue?

iCloud is not downloaded, it is a part of iOS5.
Do you possibly have iCloud and a MobileMe account set up on the device? If so, remove the MobileMe account.

thanks. I was reading some of the other postings that I see on this page and got that impression. Not sure what IMAP is but I'll keep reading and see if I can figure it out. I saw something that said a Mac.com email was IMAP so maybe I need to start using that instead of my Charter acct. I know my work is an exchange account. I have an Iphone, Mac and Ipad and need to start figuring out how all these work together and get more educated on this. Thanks for your time.

The problem could be that you don't have enough storage on the device itself, not on iCloud. Go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available. Farther down the list is the available storage on iCloud.
Also check:
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage; there, tap the device you need info on and the resulting screen lists Backup Options with which apps store data on iCloud.
A device needs many MB of storage in order to perform a backup to iCloud.

Why am I getting emails twice. Not all the time ... but sometimes. An email comes in ... five minutes later the same email comes in again. And theyre not spams ... theyre legit emails.
Im puzzled by this.

That article goes on to further define being online as:

To repair any hardware damage would require opening the phone up.
Software, put the handset into DFU mode and try that, it's a basic operating system on the phone that does nothing other than process the firmware upgrade request

Email problems- can't delete email account and receiving emails twice: Blackberry Curve 8520

I would like to remove a gmail email account from my blackberry. I've removed the account from my service books (deleted them) but I still receive emails from this account.
I also am getting emails twice from my hotmail account (my main account which I'd like to keep). I also only don't get the delete from handset- mailbox option, only delete or cancel.
Grateful for any help.

Please try this FIRST, using your BlackBerry browser...

• Scroll down to Communication and then to Email.

Why can I receive email but not send

Can receive email to Mail program but can't send. The Doctor says my internet connection is open.
Any ideas?

If it says that it can't send the message or that it had some sort of problem sending the message add a letter or word or take off a letter or word.
Make sure that firewall isn't blocking anthing.

I can receive emails, but when I go to reply to them I get an error The smtp service smtp.eastlink.ca is not responding. check yur network connection and that you entered the correct info in the outgoing mail service field. Everything looks fine to me. My phone is through BEll and my internet is through Eastlink. No matter what I do I can't get it to work. I am so fed up right now. I checked with Bell and they had no idea. I am still waiting for a reply from Eastlink.

would say your smpt settings are incorret or if it's over 3g your isp are blocking the ports that smtp use

I understand that you have a Gmail mail account set up on your iPhone that can send email, but is having issues receiving email. In this situation, I would recommend reading over and working through the troubleshooting steps in the attached article.

Problems receiving emails twice in outlook

Since I set up the Redirector for the BB Storm Outlook will randomly get some emails twice. They will show up twice on the computer, but not on the BB. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, any idea how to fix this? TIA

First, ATT will transfer you to RIM if you need bumped up the tech support chain, for free. Otherwise RIM will charge you a fee for the support.
Ask ATT to completely disable your BIS account, and then reset it back up on your ATT account.

TS3899 im sending/receiving emails twice how do I fix the issue

Can anyone help? I'm sure it's just a setting issue, but for the life of me I can't find it. I am receiving and sending redundant info and it is irritating! Why is it posting twice?

No such setting exists.
Contact the email provider to troubleshoot the issue.

Receiving emails twice

I receive twice each email on the BB. The first time it indicates "received Using: Unknown", and the second time "received using: my email address". How can I get rid of this doubling of my emails? Thanks for any help on this.

Well you do not say which email program you are using. If you are using Outlook (formerly Hotmail) first delete all emails on your phone, then turn your phone off.
Go to Outlook on the Web and delete all emails there, if you use the POP folder turn it off.
If you also use the email program in your computer go to: Tools, Accounts, Properties for your email program, Advanced, Delivery, and put a check in: Leave a copy of messages on server, put a check in: Remove from server when deleted from Deleted Items.
