Why am I seeing my daughter's contacts only on my MB (synced I assume from her iPhone) and why does my text messaging on the MB all viewed like she is receiving them? Even on my phone, a message I sent to myself as a test shows up as "mom"
Why are my daughter's contacts the only one showing up on my MB and why do all text messages now, including on the MB and my iPhone show up now as if she's receiving them, even when they are sent to me based on her contact list?
It's called iMessage, new in iOS 5.0...these messages are going as iMessages, and as designed, they appear on all of your iOS devices(your Apple ID on your daughter's phone). Either turn iMessage off on your daughter's phone or get her her own Apple ID & wipe her phone & then setup it up again using her own Apple ID. Your daughter having her own Apple ID is recommended if you want to fully take advantage of iCloud, FaceTime, iMessage, etc. She can still use your iTunes account.

Well, is your friend's phone officially unlocked? If so, get a sim from any T-Mobile store. If not officially unlocked, did your friend get International Provisioning activated for their account...pick a plan & such BEFORE your friend left China?

My daughter forgot her password and now her ipod has locked her out ir says disabled connect to itunes. The computer she last synced to has crashed. How can I unlock this ipod?
The device will have to be restored but without the last computer it was synced to, that's not a possibility.
Take the iPod to an Apple store or Apple certified repair shop.
You will need a computer in order to sync, restore, and update the iPod in the future.

Having issues receiving MMS and/or media content. I have visited several forums and did successfully receive at least one photo and sent one photo sucessfully. However, I am now unable to receive media via MMS. Phone displays message: "Get Media Content Now 30KB", but it only emits a tone after pressing. I have add a MMS VPN already. Any suggestions??? I have an AT&T iPhone but only use wifi. Since I updated my phone to iOS 6.0 I cannot receive text messages from other iPhone users outside wifi range. What is the issue?
Check Settings>General>Cellular to be sure you have Cellular Data set to On.

I am fed up with Spring and Apple passing me off to one another and neither will fix the problem. I am unable to receive a connection on my phone.
The internet goes out and I have to reset network setting each and every time. This is only a temporary solution which by the time I release the line with Spring or leave the apple store the issue is back. Sprint indicates that it is a know issue with the Iphone 5 and apple says it is a network issue as Sprint's network is not up to par with the Iphone and can not meet the expectations on the Iphone 5.
I have attached a few picture, as you can see it clearly says I have 5 bars and 3g available but I have no connections what so ever.
This issue affects all data and so I can not send or receive picture messages, use apps, or access the internet. The data goes in and out intermittently and it seems the phone chooses what I can and can't do.
For example I can watch Youtube or Vevo videos but I can not access Facebook or Instagram.
Is anyone else having this issue?
I will soon loose my patience....

I have an iMac desk top, iPad, and two iPhones. Someone (a family relative) has somehow copied text messages, and possibly emails from our iPhones, and sent them to other people. He has had access to my wife's iPhone numerous times. Can I check our iPhones to detect any surveillance apps(bugs) on them?
Whose Apple ID are you using? It sounds like whoever co-opted the account may have changed the security questions as well.

What should I do if I don't remember the answers to my Apple ID security questions?
Try answering them at least once to see if you can get them right, even if you are not sure you remember the answers to your security questions.

A Complete Guide to Restore or Recover Your iDevice (if You Forget Your Passcode)
If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. 4. Select the Summary tab.

why can my daughter send texts to other brands of phones, but not the iphone, She can received texts from iphones, but when she tries to send me a text from her iphone (or anyone else with an iphone), the messages don't send!

I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the app but nothing happens. When I try to open the app, it either crashes immediately or asks me for my iTunes password and the the app does nothing or crashes. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions? Also, it seems that my phone asks me for my iTunes password randomly, when I'm not trying to open apps.
The app that I have the most problem with is the Simpsons game. I've tried to contact EA as well as apple and gotten nowhere.

Somehow my wife has ended up with some of my apps on her iPhone, and I have some of her apps on my iPhone. So, when I update apps on my phone, some of them ask me for her apple ID password. How do I get her apps off my phone.
Do you guys use the same computer with itunes on it? And the best way to get them off is to go into the Setting>Itunes & App Store and sign out of her appleid if it's listed there. Also just delete all of the apps from her appleid off your phone.
