I am unable to select text and copy it on this website- http://www.meritnation.com/ after logging in. I have tried all the possible methods I knew but all went in vain. Also the right-click menu that usually appears on other websites is different. please help me solve this problem.

Some web sites shut off the right click options. Have you tried <Cntl> V ?

I'm assuming you clicked on the color patch besides the word <Character> to open the color picker window.
At the right side of this window there is a vertical bar that has 2 horizontal black lines at the bottom.
This is actually a slider. Pull it upwards with the color picker and color will appear in the window.

Another option is to temporarily change your view to outline mode, when your done switch back to preview mode. Ctrl-Y or View>Outline {View>Preview} The menu option will change depending on which mode you are in.
And another option, double click on the object in question to place it in Isolation mode. You can now edit to your hearts content. When done, click on the gray border at top of document.
So as you can see there are multiple ways of accomplishing the same thing.

Type Command-T to open the Fonts pane. Regular, Italic, Bold, etc will be listed in the Typeface column.

After "cleaning up" my fonts, all text in certain websites is bold. Please help.

About a week ago, I deleted every font in font book that had a yellow circle (this is a problematic font) warning next to it, thinking that it would help stabilize Word. Italicized text does not have this problem. I have only found one other website on which I have this problem (some blog), the problem is that I use the website above all the time.

Might be a duplicate ..
Open the Font Book app.
From the Font Book menu bar click Edit > Look for Enabled Duplicates
If it's not a duplicate issue, from the menu bar click File > Restore Standard Fonts

Why am I unable to select layers within the layout window - PSE13

I am working on a project in expert mode. It has several layers. Randomly, I am now unable to select any of the layers within the layout window. I have tried to drag or click on or over an element and nothing happens, it keeps selecting the same element unless I select it from the layers utility on the right hand side. I have tried this with a mouse and a Wacom tablet, same result.

Fixed by running updates, resetting preferences and rebooting. Phew!

Why do I get the spinning ball on certain websites?

I wondering if anyone else has this problem. I get the spinning wheel, especially when I'm on certain websites. It can last for up to 10 minutes or much longer, but that's about as long as I can take. I usually have to use the "esc" button or power off to resolve the problem. Does this mean my computer is just getting old? I've had it for about four years. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you are using Safari, try emptying the cache. Press Command + Option + E then quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, from your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click Details then remove all the cookies for the sites where you see the spinning ball.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari and try one of those sites again.

Unable to select text in cell with mouse?

I am not sure where to log this one, let me know if you think there is a better place for this question.
A user is unable to highlight the text in the cells/input box using her mouse. She could do that last week so something has changed, certainly on her PC. I don't think the problem is purely SAP related as if I use my SAP account when logged on to her PC, with her AD credentials I get the same problem. When logged on with my AD credentials I don't get the issue.
Selecting the text using the keyboard by selecting shift+arrows (left or right) works; the text remains hilghlighted. When using the mouse we left click on the left of the text in the cell and hold to highlight the entire text, for example, and let go when reaching the end of the word; at that point the text doesn't remain highlighted.
I have checked OSS Notes, Microsoft (XP) forums and user setting on the PC (Accessibility options) and so far have not found anything describing the same problem. I woudl apreciate if anyone coudl suggest anything?
More info: SAP GUI 7.10 Level 14, ERP 6.0 (Support Stack 18), transaction used for testing ME2N but the issue occurs in all cells. OS = XP Pro, Office 2003 SP3 installed (FilterKeys off and "Typing Replaces Selection" ok in Word/Outlook, start up program only Oulook and SAP GUI)

I guess the option "Quick cut and Paste" in SAP GUI was enabled and that the reason when you select any text with mouse it does not highligjted but gets copied automatically. If you dont want this then you can uncheck the tick mark.

Why am I unable to select within the URL bar of a new tab after opening a .pdf file in Firefox 4?

To repeat the problem:
1.) Open a .pdf file in Firefox 4
2.) Open a new tab by using the (+) tab button
3.) Try to select within the URL bar (unsuccessful)
I cannot seem to direct my browser to a new website in a new tab after viewing a .pdf file within the browser.

Restore your default toolbar by going to Customize - Restore Default Set. I just found it out myself.

Why am I unable to select the boolean indicators on my front panel?

Hello all,
This has to be an easy one for you guys, but here goes...
I created a front panel with approximately 20 boolean indicators on it (LEDs). I realized that I only had 10 functional, so I made the others 'greyed out and disabled'. Well, now the ones I disabled are functional again, so I want to enable them. Problem is, when I go to the diagram and select 'show indicator' it is still grayed out. I cannot click on the indicator on the front panel to 'enable' the indicators. I cannot select them at all.
I've tried creating property nodes and enabling them that way. They are no longer grayed out when I do this, but I still cannot click on them to move them about the front panel.

I want to do is select them so I can rearrange the way they look on the panel, but I cannot click on them.
And, yes, I've had my tool palete on both 'Automatic Tool Selection' and 'Position/Size/Select'. It is also interesting that I can select and move the indicators which I never disabled in the first place.
Any help would be great!

What happens if you go to the diagram and double click on the control? It
should take you to the front panel and highlight/select the control.

Why wont my droid x recieve text from certain people

i can send text to everyone but some peoples text dont reach me

We want you to be able to receive text from everyone. Do you know if those trying to send you a text are both iPhone and Android users? Do they ever receive an error message when trying to text you? To clarify do you have a Motorola Droid X or a Moto X? Try to clear text app cache/data. Settings>Applications or App Manger>All>Find text app and force close/clear cache & data.

Firefox doesn't show text on certain websites.

On several websites that I visit regularly (e.g. Autosport.com) Fiefox will not display text whilst other browsers do. This is very frustrating because I much prefer Firefox!
I have screenshots of Firefox v IE but apparently I can't post them until I have a received a reply.

I think it depends on how it got there. If it was dropped by Safari for Windows, which is no longer a product that Apple supports, I think it's safe to remove. If it belongs to some other software, then that software might object to losing the font. I'm not sure of the best way to determine that. I suppose you could hedge your bets by dragging it into a different folder so Windows just doesn't see it.

I visit several websites when I must insert certain information such as a date of birth or email address but Firefox will not allow me to insert those instead it reverts back to the page as though I did not put in any of this information

When I open a new tab...the link on the new tab shows the link of the page I'm previously on. Some of the other page had that effect too. But some website doesn't seem to be affected(ex: Twitter)
