Open System Profile /Applications/Utilities
Select Hardware on the left under Contents
Serial number is on the right under Hardware Overview
You can copy and paste it from there to here > Apple - Support - Check Your Service and Support Coverage

Please try the following:
Delete the Adobe PCD folder and caps.db file:
Windows: \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD
\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\caps\caps.db
Launch Acrobat and enter the serial number and check.

When using the iPhone with the Windows OS, you need to have the Apple Mobile Device Service running. It should start automatically when you start the computer, but sometimes things happen. Use this support document to try and restart the service. See if that helps.

Adobe has decommissioned the CS2 activation servers, so your old serial number is no longer usable.
If you download the special non-activating version of CS2 that Adobe has made available to licensed CS2 users, you MUST also use the new serial number provided by Adobe on that download page:

Install CS4 Production Premium from Design Premium CS3, but does not recognize CS serial number

Try almost half day already but still do not know how to overcome the problem.
My operation system is Windows XP SP3.
I am installing Production Premium CS4 and it is an update version from Design Premium CS3. I tried to input my CS3 serial number in when it is needed, but it always gave me "Invalid Serial Number". I tried to install the Design Premium CS3 to the computer. The serial number is right and programs work fine. Then I tried to install the CS4 again. First, it cannot find my CS3 just installed before. Second, the serial number for CS3 still does not work. Any idea?
I saw so many people posted the installation issues here. How come Adobe does not do anything to improve the product. I also called the customer support. After waiting 10 min, a guy asked my ID and then total silent. I called again and this time, I had to wait 20 min. Another guy told me this is tech issue so I need to call tech support. He gave me a 1-800 number but I tried, the number is invalid. I have been thought Adobe is a good company before. I really need to rethink that.

Thanks, Bob. Indeed, it was my typo in the message (not CS, should be CS3). My purchase was right (I even discussed with Adobe Store person before I placed the order). I have Design Premium CS3 and the updates I brought is the one which can update from Design Premium CS3. Actually in the menu where I can input my CS3 serial number, it has several options and one of them is exactly Design Premium CS3. Why apple does not help the scientific community?

I see that everybody are asking the same question about the ability of writing superscript or subscript in word processors on ipad.
The real question should be why such an expensive device does not meet the student and specially the scientific community. None of the program's used in ipad supports these most important features for any student. And I thin the reason would be the so itself since none of the program's have this feature. Therefore everyone just have to come up with different tricks to do the job that it should be so easy.

CS5.5 Upgrade does not accept the serial number used for CS 5 Master Collection install

Installed CS5 Master Collection from disk with given serial number. CS5 Master Collection installed fine. Inserted CS 5.5 Design Standard disk, and entered its serial number. It asked for a qualifying product/serial number. I selected "Master Collection CS5" and entered the serial number I had just used to successfully install that product. I get an error saying "This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another."

Go to Settings-General-About and see if there is a serial number listed.
You may have a defective iPad. I suggest you show it to an Apple Store Genius. If the Genius agrees, you may get a replacement on the spot.
One thing you can try is to reset (reboot) your iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything, and sometimes clears up mysterious problems.
