Asking for card details is a way of confirming that you are able to buy from that country's store, it doesn't necessarily mean that the card will be charged for the purchase (unless you are trying to gift content or an amount, that can only be done via a credit card) - have you tried entering the card, you should then get the 'none' option so that you can remove it

Why can't I download OS X Mavericks? The download option is malfunctioning. I already checked that my mac version can have free upgrade. I click download, but it just doesnt do anything. Since Mavericks requires 8GB's or more of free disk space, control click the MacintoshHD icon on your desktop or open the Finder, right or control click startup disk in the Sidebar on the left then click Get Info.
You'll see Available and Capacity. Make sure there's at least 15% available disk space.
If installed, disable anti virus software before downloading Mavericks. -

Hi Just been into the apple store and the assistant told me about Pages / Keynote and Numbers for mac that can be downloaded for free. When I've searched on the app store there is only a paid version! can anyone confirm that there is a free version?

Try here > Mac App Store: "An unknown error occurred (100)" when purchasing
If that doesn't help, drag the App Store icon straight up off your Dock so it goes, "poof".
Now drag the App Store icon from your Applications folder to the Dock. Try updating your apps. -
Why do I have to enter all security info to download a free app AFTER I enter my ID?
Downloadinf a FREE equalizer app and enter my Apple ID. The icon appears on my screen, then I'm "told" I have to enter all of my security info for the download to actually occur.
TextFree assigns me a phone number just by downloading the app; why would a free music EQ require all of my info?Ok I can understand the reason for additional security but the questions!!!!! When was I first kissed, which is my least favoutie car, what was the first album I owned. I have no idea yet I'm required to enter answers for storage and recall later.
I suppose people are sad enough to remember all this - my password app is bulging already

I bought a full season of a TV show. I downloaded all episodes, I went to my iTunes library, selected the episode I wanted to watch. I got this message: This computer is already associated with an Apple ID. I can't for the life of me get the TV shows to play. I went on iTunes and when to my purchases. Clicked on the episodes and the same message popped up. How do I get these to play? I also see my download box with an error message saying it has paused the download. I click unpause and it just pauses again. I have been able to get one of the episodes to play once through, but now it gives me the same message.
It's been months, so you may not care anymore, but you can't download songs from multiple Apple IDs over a 90 days period. Sorry, it's not allowed for legal reasons.

Why does the settings of my IMAP account changed without my assistance?
I have the problem that on my new iPhone 5 (IOS 6) the "mailbox behaviour" for the folders "Drafts", "Sent" and "Trash" changed twice back from my selected settings (Folder in the IMAP-Account) to "On my iPhone" without my assistance? Why? The same happened to the select box below where to define when emails in the trash folder should be deleted permanently.
Are you using RTF for message composition or Plain Text?
If RTF, try using Plain Text instead when sending messages thru an Exchange Server. Windows Outlook does the same when using RTF for message composition but sending messages thru an Exchange Server also has an effect.

Yes, you can delete your account from settings > iCloud. Your data will be stored in your personal account (simply choose to delete all information from your iPad when prompted). Then make a new one (again, settings > iCloud) making an account for your class. When you are done in the classroom, delete the iCloud account again and login with your personal account When prompted, always delete the information.

Make sure there is no other account using that email. (Try going to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ hitting Reset your password, and then enter the email address.

Just for the record, I was having this problem with older versons of Firefox also. It just happened recently and, with the help of this forum (thanks cor-el) suggesting to open Firefox in safe mode and checking add ons, I found the problem. It was the recent update of Mcafee Site Advisor. If you have Mcafee Site Advisor as an add on, disable it and see if that helps. It worked for me.
To disable this add on,
Go to:
Tools/Add ons/Extensions and click: "disable" for this add on and restart Firefox. Hope it works for you too.
P.S. To uninstall Site Advisor altogether, you must do that through Windows Add/Remove Programs. -
