I work for a school district where I am continuosly having to go back into Mac labs and reverting the settings on the dock back to normal. Students are changing the size, position and content of the dock, as well as hiding the dock. This question was asked quite a while ago and the suggestion was to use Server Admin Tools, which I know nothing about. You'll have to look into that. If these Macs are running off a server, then this might work for you. I'm seeing that Server Admin Tools from Apple is still current.

How do I removed the downloaded music from my ipad in the Music app with effecting icloud music?

My music was taking up too much space so I joined itunes match, but the 6 gigs of my music is still on my ipad. How do I removed the downloaded music from my ipad in the Music app without affecting icloud music? I clicked to replace all music with icloud music. They both appear in Music and I don't see anywhere to remove all downloaded music. If I delete all music, I fear it will delete all music in iCloud. I assumed by joining iTunes Match that I would get the 6 gigs back for other items since my music should be on iCloud now. If that is not the case then I need to get my $ back for Match.

Removing music from an iOS device does not remove it from the cloud.
Go to Settings > General > Usage and tap Music (you may need to scroll down in the list). Swipe across "all music" and tap DELETE.

It's interesting that you've noticed this, as I know one of the reasons behind MS making the changes they have is to significantly improve the audio quality in Windows. I've been playing WoW on XP usually,?but this weekend I've put in many hours playing in Vista/Game Mode/ALchemy. The sound in Vista is *definately* richer and punchier. For reference I ran Sethekk Halls in XP, then Vista straight after, the bosses?(Syth and Ikiss) sound amazing in Vista. For those who don't play WoW, Sethekk Halls is a dungeon in the game, and at the middle and end of the dungeon are two bosses. Like most of the dungeons in the game the bosses do a little "trash" speech before entering the fight, and these two inparticular have a really neat part human part bird speech. I honestly don't think I've heard the game sound so good as it does now, the way the sounds and speeches?echo and reverberate is so realistic it's quite chilling and the general ambience of audio in the dungeon is significantly more dynamic than it is in XP. I'm going to be playing a lot more WoW on Vista

Welcome to the Apple community.
Assuming that both devices are connected to the same network and that airplay is not turned off in your Apple TV settings, then you should be able to see the airplay icon when playing content on your iPad, by tapping the screen to reveal the playback control bar.
If you do not see the airplay icon when you do this, you might try restarting the iPad, the Apple TV and your router.

Why they remove the iPad 3 from apple store? Its unfair for those who already bought it

This is really unfair for customers. Now there's a new one with the minimal Improvements that should have been included with the 3rd generation. They don't even sell it anymore and it is nowhere to be found on their website!!!!! very disappointed. We require to replace or return ipad 3!!!!

Would you like to tell us which Visio version do you use? As far as I know, if we create an organization chart from Excel worksheet data, Visio won't import the pictures that stored in Excel to the drawing, we need to insert pictures after completed
the organization chart.

How to remove the Advanced Options from Grub boot menu

The new version of grub groups kernels under a section of the menu called Advanced Options which makes selecting a kernel unattended impossible. Can this behavior be disabled so that grub.cfg has simply one menu item per kernel like the old behavior? Thank you.

If the option to select "None" isn't appearing when you attempt to edit your payment information, then there is likely a billing issue with your last iTunes Store purchase(iTunes didn't receive payment from your credit card company for that order). Before you can remove your credit card, you have to pay for the unpaid order. You can call your credit card company and troubleshoot the billing issue with them, or try another card, or if you live in a country that supports iTunes Gift Cards, you can redeem one of those to pay for the order. Put it in DFU and do an update. This will not only update it, but it will remove all settings. DFU = hold menu+play while plugging it in.
