Did you change the email for the Apple ID or did you create a new Apple ID? A new Apple ID cannot be used with content that was bought using a different Apple ID.

No web site expert here but I would suggest changing the .m4v to .mp4 and ask one of those friends if they still have problems. .m4v is something I always associate with iTunes and don't really see it used elsewhere.

My iPod has music and apps from my apple ID that I downloaded to my iPod via iCloud and some apps that I got free from the store, straight onto my iPod, but my laptop has some music on it aswell, separate from my other library. I want to put the music from my laptop into my iTunes library which I want to use on both computers. Is it possible to do this?

- You can only sync an iPod to one iTunes library/computer. You can however, manually manage music and videos among different libraries.
Go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions.

Did you subscribe to iTunes match on your computer first. It must be set up on a computer? You must be running Windows Vista or Max OS X 10.7 in order to subscribe to iTunes Match.
I am not using this service so I haven't been through the process. Apple has a support article about how to subscribe, but I thought this one was pretty straight forward and informative as well. Take a look at this.

Why personnel areas don't have date tied to them?

HI All,
I wonder why PAs don't have date (duration) tied to them. Sometimes,it is necessary to have dates especially in cases when you some PAs are not used anymore. We could delimit those or something. We got many PAs like them and its hard to figure out if we are still using them or not. We maintain some custom table to see which ones are not used anymore. Is there any workaround for this. Please explain..

This could be a wothful discussion.
I agree with the SAP's unwritten recommendation about delimition of PA and PSA's. Major reasons I would think is:
1. It is being used on IT0001 of employees and IT0001 would always have end date of 12/31/9999. So assume, if ever, there is any delimition of PA and PSA, either it will error out on IMG table or your master data will be inconsistent.
2. PSA has major dependency on PA. PSA grouping always used in designing major parts of TM and PY. So delimition would cause error here as well.
3. Do not change the text, again it would change history you maintained.
The probable solution, I would think, write an user exit on IT0001 with start date from where you don't wish to use PA and PSA and if user tries to enter it, throw an hardcode RED error.
Suggestions are welcome...

Do you have a computer. You can't share music or apps from one mobile device to another. To share photos you need to use photo stream shared albums.

Don't Have Music Saved To Computer - DO Have FLAC already... What's Best Option To B/U Entire Ipod with Artwork?

Ok, so I recently got a 160 GB ipod classic for Christmas, LOVE it. Loaded a ton of music, most of the space is taken up. Loaded everything in ALAC for the best quality. I did not save the music onto my computer as I went along, due to space available. I deleted as I uploaded each chunk of music to the pod. Here’s my question…. It took a lot of time to upload all of my music. A lot of the artwork I had to manually add etc…. I really don’t want to ever have to do this again, if something happens to my ipod or I get a new one. Now, I DO have all my music backed up in FLAC on an external hard drive… I know that format is not compatible with ipods, but is it easily able to be converted to ALAC if need be? I even have artwork from all my cd’s scanned on the drive as well. OR is there an easy way I can transfer all my music, including all art from my ipod to an external hard drive? Any advice/input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.
Note: ALL of my music is loaded from my cd's, none is bought via itunes.

Move your current library to your external drive. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device to pull the media on the device back into it.

Just in case anyone else stumbles upon this issue and is wanting answers....
I raised the issue with an apple service rep.
This appears to be a bug. Current theory is that when the phone enters sleep mode (which can be anything from 5-15 minutes or even longer depending on apps that are open and other phone settings - mail, push settings etc) the music app is resetting, well not exactly, anyway it forgets its in shuffle mode if it was in shuffle prior to going to sleep. That is, when the phone goes to sleep the shuffle setting resets to shuffle 'off', as this is the default shuffle setting.
This will require patching in a future iOS update. Might be the next one, might not be. Its not really a major bug so it might not get prioritised for inclusion the next iOS update.
Apparently I was the first person to notice this.. very surprising. I'm sure others have had the same issue but maybe just not realised it was a reoccurring bug.
Wait and see what happens after the next iOS update.
