The AppStore only show half (left) on the screen
Double tap the screen with three fingers.
If you do not want this zooming, in settings/general/accessability disable the zoom.

13" - 1440x900
11" - 1366x768
This of course assumes you are talking about your internal display. -
MBA: dock is only showing half of the indictor light
Hi.
My situation here is more annoying than a problem, but it's pretty simple: whenever the indicator light on the dock is switched on and programs are open/running, the dock is only showing half of the indicator light (the rest is hidden under the dock plattform).
This happened after I updated my MBA to OS X Mountain Lion.
Can anyone help me with my annoying problem?Unfortunatetly this is one of the design changes Apple made. I too find it annoying. You can go here to register your unhappiness and request change. Be sure to explain why this new design is not good.

Safari only shows half of the internet pages
Safari on my iPhone5 only shows half of the webpages I go to. It's not even a propper half, like, it's slim or missing the bottum. No, it just shows one corner and the rest is black and gray. It's hard to discribe so I made 2 printscreens. This is how it looks like when the screen is vertical:

If you are having issues with your iPhone only displaying part of a web page, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
iOS: Force an app to close
Next, I would try restarting the iPhone -
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

Aperture 2: Viewer/Quick View only showing half of the picture
Hi,
When working in aperture the other day my kitten decided to walk across the desk and keyboard since then the viewer only show half of the pictures. It looks like the viewer is not centered as it is also not showing the Viewer mode button.
Can anyone help it's driving me crazy.If Allan's suggestions does not work, try deleting the user preferences as described here, Aperture 2: Troubleshooting Basics

I use Hotmail and when I hit 'reply' I can only see half of the page. I cannot tab down to read the email I am responding to and if I type too much the text disappears into the hidden section of the page. This does not happen in Google Chrome when I checked it so it is a Firefox problem.
How do I fix this?OOPS! Too quick on the trigger to ask that question without trying anything. Sorry. Solved it by touching the bookmark icon.

Illustrator tutorials only show top of the screen/won't scroll on Mac OS X Yosemite
I've just downloaded Illustrator onto a brand-new Mac running OS X Yosemite.
I've never used Illustrator before, but am familiar with Photoshop.
I've got the screen with the tutorials/tips open. It will only show the top of the screen - there is clearly lower information, but I can't get to it. I can just click on the videos on the bottom of the screen, but can't scroll down to see them.
Tips? Any idea what is happening?The tutorials are downloaded from the internet, so in case your Firewall settings don't allow Illustrator to get them or the internet is down, then you might not be able to see them.
What happens when you scroll way down - there should be a button to hide the welcome screen. Is it there?
Maybe some staff people can shed some more light on this. -
Does anybody know why my ipod touch 3rd generations screen does not work show anything? The screen is all black like it is switched off, but my ipod synchronises to my iTunes library. It is fully charged. Please Help!!!

Does anybody know why my ipod touch 3rd generations screen does not show anything? The screen is all black constantly. When I try to synchronise my ipod with my iTunes library it comes up with a message saying " iTunes could not back up the ipod because a session could not be started with the ipod. I dropped my iPhone 5s yesterday and then I picked it up but I couldn't unlock it. I have a password but only half of the screen is working I couldn't press anything on the right half. So I turned it of and on but it is still the same. The screen look perfectly fine but I can press the numbers 3 6 9 or cancel
Take it to your closest Apple store and have them look at it.

We have an iPhone 4S and can only see the top half of the screen.
We have an iPhone 4s and can only see the top half of the screen. The phone works fine as far as making calls and you can kind of text, if you can figure out where the keypad is. Is there a fix for this or is it trash? It is out of warranty and we don't have insurance on it.

Did you verify the hard drive before installing the update? You could have had hard drive corruption where the computer did not know where all the files are and something didn't get installed correctly.
Did you repair permissions? The installer may not have been able to overwrite a file if the permissions on files were not set correctly.
Frankly, the easiest thing will be to re-install the operating system from the installer disc. While booted to the disc make sure you run Disk Utility First Aid to repair the drive and permissions, then install. Many of us prefer to download updates from Apple rather than rely upon Software update. we use SU to tell us what we need but we download them separately.
For which operating system was this update? Apple hasn't brought out a new system update for G4s in quite a while. -
Eden Skin only uses left half of the screen
Has anyone tried the Eden skip from OTN? The top menu line looks fine. The second like with Home Catalog Favorites ... looks fine. The lower portion only displays in the left one-half of the screen. Report Design, Display and Dashboards only use the left half. Anyone know which css file and what elements to change to make it like the default skin? I am using it with 11.1.1.7.1
This has happened to mine too, I wish I was notified about a screen replacement program, I did register my iMac too.. I was quotes $900 + labour to replace the 27 inch screen, and my iMac is less than 3 years old. I'm not happy about this, I am going to take it to the Apple Store and see what they can do for me.
