Why are ALL apps missing?

I'm trying to upgrade from CS6 to CC2014 and I decided to download the trials to make sure it's worth it. I logged into my Adobe ID account, clicked the trial and downloaded the CC .dmg image file. I then installed the CC manager tool, logged in and clicked on the app tab. It sat there for about 6 hours, the icon just spinning (I went off and had a nice saturday shooting around Oxford and then having coffee with friends). I come back, check the network, cpu and ram usage - they all look like normal and less than 50% used for the whole time.
All I've seen so far is this:
I've uninstalled and re-installed the manager and restarted my mac a few times. Nothing seems to be happening and now I'm at a loss.
I'm using a 2010 macbook pro, running mavericks, 512gb SSD, 8gb ram, 2.4GHz core i5 - as far as i can see I should be able to run PS CC2014 with ease.

Hey, so I started doing what it said on that url. I uninstalled CC and CS5, downloaded the Cleaning Tool, ran it, reinstalled CC and now it's working! If still stuck, there are extra steps but luckily I didn't have to go through all of that

I noticed Runkeeper (current version) is missing from 'background app refresh'. In order to start tracking a run, it has to be enabled in BAF...but it's not there. I've rebooted and reinstalled - no dice. Any advice?

Go to the purchased tab of the app store on your iPad and try downloading them from there. Unless these apps have been updated to only work with a newer iOS version than what you are running, you should be able to download them again.

Itunes does not sell any apps at all for computers.
Itunes ONLY sells apps for iphone/ipod/ipad.
If you want an app for your Mac, tehn shop in th Mac App Store

In iTunes under my device, under the apps tab, Why are all the options shaded out? I cannot make any changes, select any apps or do anything with the apps. I was able to load a few apps and sync but cannot sync anymore to my phone.

( I search for iChat questions when I have finished in the iChat Forum)
So the menu bar reads iChat, File, Edit, View, Buddies, Video, Window and Help
There is no Buddy List open.
There is no other window for iChat open.
In the iChat Menu you only have access to Status.
Is an item ticked in the list ?
Is this a green (Available item) or Red ( an Away one) ?
Can you access the Accounts option ? (Sitll in the iChat Menu)
Is anything in here ticked ?
In the Window menu any Logged in account should appear in the list (Between the Next Chat and File Transfer items)
It would be useful to know which version of iChat this is.
If no account is ticked (iChat Menu > Accounts) or not showing in the Window Menu, plus you cannot determine the Status and you cannot access the Preferences then you need to access your Home Folder/Library/Preferences
As the Library in the Home Holder is Invisible in Lion you will need the Finder's Go Menu > Go to Folder option (you can use it in earlier OS versions if you want)
Type in:-
~/Library/Preferences
Find the file called com.apple.ichat.plist
Drag it to the Trash and Restart iChat.
This will lose all the settings in iChat that you have changed from Defaults but there is no way around this.

You need to click on EACH program to read the requirements for THAT program
System requirements | After Effects- Intel Core2 Duo or AMD Phenom II processor with 64-bit support
System requirements | Adobe Premiere Pro- Intel Core2 Duo or AMD Phenom II processor with 64-bit support
And so on... if the INDIVIDUAL page does say 64bit the program does not REQUIRE 64bit

Why are all my movies and tv shows from my library now on my ipad with the icloud icon? I have turned off all icloud related services. I have never used it. On top of that, my ipad now gets stuck on step 5 of the sync - waiting for changes to be applied and never finishes.

Hi, go in Settings, under Videos turn off "Show all videos" this will remove the purchased videos to be displayed in the Video app. The same can be done with the music.
As for Step 5, connect you iPad and on the summary Tab, uncheck
"Sync only checked songs and videos". Then wait, it takes a while but this made it work for me after many restore attempts.

Hi The next thing to do is to Restore back to Factory Settings this will get rid of any bugs . After Restore use same Apple ID /Password then you should get all your Apps & data back If you still have this problem make an Appointment at Apple Store . Cheers Brian

Same problem here. Not able to update any apps or to download new purchased music. Doesn't work on iPad, iPhone, or iTunes. Tried with 3G download rather than wifi on the phone and iPad. It still hasn't worked. I changed me credit card, but without success.
The store is currently broken for some users, maybe all.

Nobody here can answer that question. We don't know what you did exactly step by step.They should not disappear when you update iTunes or the iPad iOS.
If they are still in your iTunes library on your computer - sync them back to your iPad.
If you did never transferred them from your iPad to iTunes, download them again in the App Store. Tap on the purchased tab and all of your apps should be in the resulting windows. Download them again. You have to use the same Apple ID that you used to buy them with originally, but they will be free downloads.

The problem is, if I'm in an area that I don't have service or Wi-Fi and I want to read a book that I have purchased and paid for and I can't retrieve it...it is extremely annoying. I have paid A LOT of money for MANY MANY ebooks. I HAVE NOT DOWNLOADED THE NEW 7.0 SYSTEM BECAUSE I DO NOT LIKE IT. I HAVE IT ON MY IPHONE AND IT HAS TOTALLY SCREWED UP MY CALENDAR AND A FEW OTHER APPS. I DID NOT WANT THE CHANGES ON THE IPAD TOO. In other words, I have done nothing different. My Kindle app is working great and has twice to five times more e-books in it. The sad part is that iBooks charges more and does not get the new releases out as well and timely as Amazon. I use Amazon more often now but I do like to keep my series together and for that reason I of still use them occasionally.

First back up the registry
Go to Start > Run --> type in regedit and hit OK.
Navigate to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\LocalSettings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TrayNotify.
Delete the values IconStreams and PastIconsStream.
Open up the Task Manager, go to the Processes tab, select explorer.exe and click End
Process.
Open the Applications tab and click New Task at the bottom-right of the window.
In the message box that pops up type in explorer.exe and hit OK.
Explorer.exe will reload, and the missing icons should now be back in the system-tray
where they belong.

Why are my apps taking up more space than what the appstore says they will? Like were talking a full GB more than what it should.

Why are my apps taking up more space than what the appstore says they will? Like were talking a half a GB more than what it should.
For example the app Modern Combat 4 says it should only be 1.58 GB on the appstore but when i go into settings>general>usage it says it takes up 2.0 GB.
Ive tried deleting the apps and then reinstalling them but they still take up so much more space.
This happens for multiple apps of mine. Some I have never even opened before.
I have an ipod touch (4th Gen)(32GB).
I link to a mac computer.
I have IOS version 6.1.3
I noticed this a long time ago but didnt need the space, Now i need the space!!
Please help!!

Because you see the file size of the compuressed file. The file gets expanded when installed and that takes up more space. Also, data is kept in the app.
