Why are BT acting like Big Brother?

Why have BT chosen to block me from accessing some of my favourite sites, namely www.warez-bb.org?
When i try and visit the site i get the following message ...
Access to the websites listed on this page has been blocked pursuant to orders of the high court.

parties who obtained the Order: Members of the MPA (Motion Picture Association of America Inc)
YES thats America not the UK!! So now BT are blocking sites that are in the process of going through the US courts?
The ironic thing is that this site is NOT a file hosting site, just a file sharing message board.
No matter i an easily go via a Proxy server and there is nothing the BB can do about it.

Firstly it is not just BT Comsumer that have blocked access to the site. Other major ISPs have also blocked assess to it. For example VM
If an ISP gets an order from the High Courts to block access to a site, then they have to obey and follow the ruling.

They aren't really that much cheaper on Amazon. For Supernatural season 7, each single episode in HD is $2.99, same as iTunes. If you buy the whole season on Amazon, it's $2.84 per episode. Maybe $2 cheaper to buy on Amazon.
Remember though, on Amazon, you can't sync the videos onto an iPad/iPod/iPhone or Apple TV. In iTunes you can.
I prefer to buy on iTunes simply for the convenience, iTunes makes all the differance.

Why are my pictures like this????

I used to have a Dell laptop before getting a MacBook Pro. When I took it into my college's computuer store to be fixed one time, I received it back with all my photos on the harddrive ruined. The pictures themselves were not distorted but portions of the photo had different hues (ex., one half would be normal and then another half had a yellow hue). The lines marking the two parts could go in any direction and any hue color has happened. The store told me unfortunately there was nothing I could do. Even the thumbnails of the photos were showing this problem.
However, when I transferred all my photos over to my MacBook Pro, I realized that although the color distortions were still there, the thumbnails were perfectly fine and not indication there was a problem. Is there any way to restore my photos from the thumbnail image, and why are they like this in the first place?!?!?!?

Its stuff like Adobe Reader (ex...Documents and Data = 8.5MB, but on Usage tab it reflects 17.1 MB and I have nothing saved there). Other stupid things like a Flashlight I downloaded months ago. It too reflects Documents and Data = 1.7MB but the usage tab reflects 7.0MB. Again I get and understand the games and apps where I have a profile saved with info, but the two examples above is more concerning and I have quite a few more apps just like it.

Why are my tools like brush, eraser, pencil (basically any that you would use to make a smooth motion that would affect the layers) is not working and acts as if I clicked once and let go. I have checked spacing and reset tools and brushes. Please help!

I haven't had issues with this in the past and I've checked the different modes the layers are in as well as the brushes are in. I've also checked spacing to make sure it isn't wrong. An example of what it is doing, would be to use the brush tool and try to draw a circle. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue but the tool only makes a dot as if I quickly pressed and released tool, but I'm holding down to draw the image. All tools that do similar functions such as blur, eraser, pencil, paint are doing the same thing.... Please help!!

Photoshop Elements doesn't respond when you use editing tools in Mac OS X 10.10

I can't click any links within 2 inches of my toolbar and when I left click in that area it gives me the toolbar options. Why is firefox acting like the top of my webpages is the toolbar ?

I have tried everything that I can think of to fix it from troubleshooting to restoring firefox to defaults. The problem didn't occur until after I changed the toolbar skin with a skin from this site. I can't seem to find a way to change the skin back to it's original form to see if that's the problem. Hopefully you can help me so that I do not have to Reinstall firefox.

Why are the photos so big - 1M?

The photos are too big for the quality of the camera/lens, around 1M. 100K pictures would be just as good, don't need bigger size because they don't look any better. The proof is if you put them on the computer, then back on the phone via iTunes, it optimizes them to 100K!
My problem is of course storage. Why waste 1M when 100K looks exactly the same? I have a digital camera that makes much better 500K pictures, so I know what I am talking about.

Another possible issue is whether Firefox is downloading a custom fonts. Many sites now prescribe a custom font which Firefox needs to download. If that is blocked, a standard font is substituted, and if these are not a close match, the results can be unattractive.
To see what font is being used, you can use the Inspector tool. Right-click the headline and choose Inspect Element(Q). This will open a panel at the bottom of the tab. On the left side, the clicked element should be selected in the HTML code of the page. On the right side, you can switch from the "Rules" list to the "Fonts" list to see what font is being used for that element. If you switch back to the Rules list, sometimes you can see what font the page prescribed, but if there are lot of rules, it can be challenging to find....
Either way, if you think Firefox is NOT downloading and using the preferred font, one possible reason is not allowing pages to choose their own fonts. You can double-check this setting in the Preferences dialog:

Click the "Advanced" button and make sure the box is checked to "Allow pages to choose their own fonts". After OK'ing that change, you probably need to reload the page to see any difference.

FF 20, why are the toolbars too big and the toolbar font too small?

A few days ago I opened Firefox and instead of the usual tabs and tool bars, the tool bars were three times larger and the toolbar fonts were twice as small. I looked for any possible reason why the fonts/tool bars were changed, I reset windows to Classic and then back to XP themes to see if there was a font problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Firefox. No change. Internet Explorer looks correct as do the programs I'm running so I believe I have isolated it to Firefox. Screen shots available.

Are you using a custom theme?

Why are tracks skipping like a cd in the latest version of iTunes?

I just downloaded the new version of iTunes 10.7.0.21. Now when I play my music, songs skip, like a cd. I have uninstalled and re-installed iTunes and it didn't help. Nothing has changed except the new version of iTunes. Any help with this?

I'm having the exact same problem. Never had this problem with prior versions.

Every time I start Firefox in my admin account, it checks my add-ons, then opens with 2 tabs: my home page and the intro to FF8. Why does it act like it's the first time every time? This doesn't happen in my regular user account. Thanx!

It's a WinXP box.
The appearance is Brushed Metal.
Extensions are WOT, Java Quick Starter 1.0, and avast! WebRep 6.0.1289; .NET Framework Assistant has been disabled.
Plugins include Adobe Acrobat, Java Deployment Toolkit, and more.

ok, it was the dual monitor set-up. different resolutions. the dell ultrasharp must stay @ 1920 x 1000 and the mbp must stay @ 1680 x 1050 (even if it doesn't want to). thanks for looking. it made me find the solution.

If I understand correctly your sound is not clear on your phone coming from the speaker. I recommend these troubleshooting steps from the following article:
If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker
Follow these steps and test the sound after each one.
Go to Settings > Sounds and drag the Ringer And Alerts slider to turn the volume up.
If you can hear sound from the speaker, then the speaker works. Continue with these steps to find the setting or switch that's affecting the sound. If you can't hear sound from the speaker, contact Apple Support.
Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is set to ring. If you can see orange, it's set to silent.
Restart your device.
Open an app that has music or sound effects. Adjust the volume with the volume buttons or the slider in Control Center.
Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn off Bluetooth.
If there's still no sound, connect a headset. If you can hear sound through the headset, remove it and clear any dust or debris from the headset jack of your device.
If the device is in a case, make sure that the case doesn't block the speaker.
Use a brush to gently clear any debris from the speaker and Lightning connector (or 30-pin dock connector). The brush should be clean and dry and have soft bristles.
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
