Why are guides embedded in my photo when they are not turned on?

They hey and are not visible to me but only show on another person's computer.

Hard for me to say what transpired at your end. I even forget what switches I flip in this program. I remember dimly getting a file with guides in them. Perhaps the author thought that hiding them on his side would hide them when I opened the file.
Anyway perhaps this will help avoid that issue in the future:
Even if the guides are hidden, if View > Clear Guides is active, you have them. If the command is grayed out, there are no guides to clear, and you can send them on. Hope that helps somewhat.

Suddenly jpg photos are displayed incorrectly (like overlit), also when they are downloaded which means that the files somehow get corrupted. The same photos look perfect in Safari.

Firefox displays large jpg photos incorrectly, they are all like over lit and there is a real quality loss since just right clicking on a link of the photos and downloading them also displays them incorrectly in any photo tool. Looking at the photos in Safari and downloading them there displays no quality loss. I really hope this can be fixed.

Why objects are said to have physical reality when they are just software programs?

I am very new to java, infact to the programming world, and am confused about classes and objects. Why do we need a class to create an object? How and when these objects find physical reality? And why do we need to create a software model of a physical thing? Where are these objects and classes stored? Please help. Gone through 10+ websites and 4 books ,couldn't get the clear picture.

I'ts almost like a construction drawing of a car. This drawing tells you e.g. what the car will look like an how many persons it can carry. But the drawing is not able to do that. But the real car build based on that drawing is able to do things planned in the drawing. But the drawing does not tell what horsepower the cars engine may have. Similar thing is with java classes and objects. A class describes what the objects created from that class are able to do. Not sure what you mean by that. A computer program has no physical reality in a way you coult touch. The physical reatity of a computer program is representet by the magnetic alignment of goups of tiny areas at your hard drive or electric charge/discharge of the capacitors of your computers RAM. So there is no physical reality for a computer program.

Imagin:
You are a car manufactorer. You have to prove that your cars are safe for their passengers in case of a crash. How do you check that? Are you willing to build hundreds of physical cars only to destroy them in a test crash?
The better way is to simulate the characteristics of the construction and the materials it will be build from in a computer program and do (most of) the crash test with that computer program untill you find a setup that is prommissing to pass a real physical crash test.

This question also has more than one answer:
1. Computer programs are stored in the world wide web and/or your computer (which effectively is part of the www).
2. Computer programes are stored on some kind of durable memory (punch tapes, magnetic tapes, barcodes, magnetic disks, memory cards/sticks, optical disks...)
3. Computer programs are stored in so called files at those locations and memory types. There are 2 types of files: human readable files and machine readable files. Why my videos disappear from my videoplaylist when they are in the ipod ?

in my ipod there are 120 videos + -... from my update 1.1 a lot of times my videos disappear like a phantom but they are inside of my ipod but the ipod doesn't find (either itunes)... ¿?¿? thanks 4 the help

What do you mean by (either iTunes). Are the videos in iTunes or no?
Also, connect the iPod to the computer. Then go to edit-->preferences and hit the iPod tab, then the videos tab. Change the settings to Do Not Update Videos. Click okay. Now go back and reenable the option and hit okay.

Why do my apps show no progress when they are supposed to be updating? 0% for over 24 hours of my laptop being on worries me.

Four of my apps reveal that they need to be updated. That's fine. I click on each of the blue update buttons to see one app load a progress bar next to its name and the other 3 state that they are waiting. Unfortunately, no matter how long I wait, the app with the progress bar, regardless of which app I choose first (I've done this multiple times), the progress seems to always remain at 0%. My internet connection seems to be just fine (since I am typing this to you all right now). Any ideas to what the solution could be? I've paid more than enough money for these things to be happening at the least convenient times.

you have not provided any proper system info or other useful details, so we can't know what may be going on.

Why does my screen saver say "no photos" when they are definately there?

I just downloaded the latest OS update and my screen saver no longer works. When i go into system preferences and set up the folder to use for the picture slide show--it gives me an error that there are "no photos". But I have triple-checked and the photos are in fact there. Why doesnt screen saver see them??

UPDATE: I spoke with Apple and there is NO fix. I've set up my photos in a hierarchy as follows
Pictures FolderSlide Show Pictures Folder
Sub folder jpegs
Sub folder with jpegs
sub-folder with jpegs
Everytime i have a new batch of photos worthy of the slide show--i add a new sub-folder. This worked perfectly fine with the old OS but does not work with Mountain Lion. According to the Apple support tech i spoke with, Mountain Lion does not support going into that level of sub-folder. Essentially it is seeing the "Slide Show Pictures folder" but all it sees are the next level of sub-fodlers themselves--it cant go into the next level to see the actual photos. Sounds pretty stupid if you ask me

Why does iTunes report 1GB of photos when there are none?

My iPhone was running out of space so I imported all photos to Aperture and deleted them from the phone after the import.
If I now go to the photos app I see that it is empty, but iTunes reports 1010 pictures occupying 984,9 MB of space on the phone.
I've tried factory resetting the phone and restoring a backup, but that didn't help.

Have you rebooted your iPad? Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple and it reboots. See if that helps.

You don't stop that. The image you see in the front facing camera is a mirror image of reality. This is done because everyone is familiar with looking at themselves in a mirror. When you take the picture the image is converted to what the camera (and other people) see. Hold some text up to the front camera to see what I mean.
If, for some reason, you want a mirror image then there are photo editing Apps which will flip the image left to right. For example, see Photo Editor.

In your User folder there is a Pictures folder, in that folder is your iPhoto Library. It will most likely be named, "{Your Username}'s iPhoto Library." The iPhoto Library appears as a file, but it is actually a package that contains folders and files that contain all of your photos plus data that keeps track of all the info related to the photos (reference léonie's comments).
The easiest way to backup your photos is to just make a copy of your iPhoto Library to an external drive. That way everything about your photos will be backed up.
If you backup your entire partition on a regular basis, something you should consider if you're not currently doing it, your iPhoto Library would be part of that backup.

Why do I have to enter passwords when they are synced in keychain

I have Keychain turned on on my iPad 3. Up until this summer when there was an update to IOS 7, they appeared automatically when I went to a web site where one was stored in Keychain. Suddenly, I had to start to type in the first letter and then the keyboard would appear with a small line above it for autofill. If I move from one page of the NYTimes to another, I have to re-sign-in - a total nuisance.
I updated to IOS 8 hoping that this issue would be fixed. Nope! Updated to IOS 8.1 - still the same. Yet on my old iPhone 5 and on my new iPhone 6, the web sites pop right up with me already signed in. Huh? What's going on here?
Is this unique to the iPad or is some setting wrong?

This sounds like you may have Private Browsing enabled. The article below will show you how to disable this feature.
Safari isn't automatically filling in account names and passwords on some websites.
iOS 7.1.1 or later:
Go to Settings > Safari > Passwords & AutoFill and make sure that Names and Passwords is on.
Go to your Home screen and open Safari. If Safari is black or dark instead of white or gray, Private Browsing is on. Safari doesn't save account names and passwords when Private Browsing is on. To turn off Private Browsing:
On iPad, tap the the plus icon in the upper-right corner of the Safari page, then tap Private in the lower-left corner.
On iPhone and iPod touch, tap in the lower-right corner of the Safari page, then tap Private in the lower-left corner.

Where do you find deleted Photos when they are not in the Trash?

I deleted my photos from the Album which meant deleting them completely. How can I restore them? Can't find them in the Trash

Here's how to delete photos from different parts of an iPhoto Library:
Deleting Photos from an iPhoto Library
1 - from an Event or the Photos mode: select the photo(s) and use the Delete key to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the iPhoto Trash bin as follows:
2 - from an album, smart album, book, slideshow, card, etc.: select the photo(s) and use the key combination of Command+Option+Delete to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the trash bin as above.
NOTE: deleting a photo from an album, slideshow, book, etc., with only the Delete key only deletes that photo from that item. Deleting a photo from an Event deletes ALL occurences of that photo in the library.

How do I install apps CC thinks are there and up to date, when they're not?

I migrated to a different but hardware equivalent MacBook Pro from a Time Machine backup. For some reason many apps, including the CC apps I had installed did not migrate. The problem is that CC for Desktop thinks they're all installed and up to date. I see now way of changing this. There are no uninstallers in my /Applications/Utilities/ folder and uninstalling/re-installing CC doesn't help. Any ideas?

Adobe applications need to be installed. Migration/traqnsfer seldom works.
CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

I have this identical problem. For a while my group texts didnt show up on my ipad. Then one day they did, maybe everyone in the group started using the same os version or something. Ever since my first reply to the group there have been complaints of multiple threads. I can not find a pattern for when my group text's decide they want to create a new thread. (it doesnt happen every time) Everyone in the group has deleted the thread, we've all toggled imessage on/off etc. There still hasn't been a solution.

Use the media browser. In every open/attach window in tithe lower left hand corner under media ==> photos ==> iPhoto
