Why are my book pages enlarged when I send them to be printed?
I have created a 40-some page iPhoto book that looks fine when I scan the pages prior to sending it to be printed. However, I get an email from Apple saying that the book is unreadable or unprintable. Upon looking at the PDF version of the book, I see that each page has been slightly enlarged, so that part of the image is not shown because it is outside the boundaries of the page. I assume that is why it is unprintable. I am trying to print a 13" by 10" hardcover book using iPhoto 11. Each of my pages is a single jpeg containing multiple photos (which I have assembled in Photoshop Elements) and each jpeg is 13 by 10 in Photoshop Elements.
One more thing: on my final scan of the pages, prior to sending the book to the printer, I usually find one or two pages that have automatically been slightly increased from from the minimum size. Each time, I have manually set such pages back to minimum size.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this problem?
That's due to the bleed settings for the pages. You can edit the iPhoto preferences with Pref Setter to change the bleed amount or turn it off entirely.

This morning when I was setting some photos as wallpapers I noticed that they are zooming out and whenever I tried to to zoom them in it kept on going back to what it was before in the zoom out and it's not showing the whole picture as it is in my photo Gallary. I tried resetting, I tried turning off the parxell and it's still doing that. It's sorta upsetting cause I don't like my photos enlarged. It looks awful that way. Is there anyway to fix this?

Why are my photographs losing resolution when I rotate them
Most of the photographs are in portrait orientation, and for some reason the camera(canon 6d) stopped detecting it, so they are stored as landscape.. So I need to rotate them in Lightroom. The rotation causes them to look reaaly low resolution. This does not happen in other editing softwares.
Rotating in LR doesn’t change the underlying image data, it is just a flag that says to display the data differently, but when you rotate the photos, the preview would need to be redone, and a low-resolution preview is the initial one you’d see until LR has a chance to compute another one, which is typically immediately.
If previews are not getting recomputed immediately, then your computer may be busy doing something else, or there could be a problem with your previews cache, or with LR, itself. You can force previews to be recomputed by selecting the photos and then choosing Library (module) / Library (menu item) / Previews / Build Standard-Sized (or 1:1) Previews. Try this and see what happens.
What happens in Develop when you adjust something with one of these rotated images, does the preview become sharp after a few moments? -
Why do Keynote and Pages freeze when I open them?
I have tried everything but I get the spinning wheel whenver I try opening them. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled from the App Store. I have also tried deleting their respective .plist files in the Library>>Preferences folder and emptied trash after doing so. I also tried uninstalling and restarting holding shift, then repairing disk permissions in Disk Utilities.
These both worked last week and I haven't installed anything on this computer since then which leads me to believe it could be an iCloud issue?
I have a major presentation in a few days and need to fix this asap.

It depends on the type of email account you are using, not on iCloud. If you are using an IMAP or exchange account, when you delete from one device, it is deleted from all devices. If you are using a POP (POP3) account, it won't. (iCloud email, Gmail and Yahoo are all IMAP accounts.)

When I go to yahoo with my iPhone 6 the pages will not enlarge when I pinch them but it works on my iPad. Does anyone know what's wrong? Also the same on boyfriends phone he's eith Virgin and I'm with Vodafone do it cant be the providers.
Thanks for the link but none of those described the problem. No error message pops up. It just says "Accessing Itunes Store" but it never actually does. This only occurs when my iPhone is plugged in though.

It's happening because you are using the same Apple ID for iMessage. You don't need to do anything with your iCloud account to fix this. You should create a separate Apple ID for her device to use with iMessage and FaceTime. (You can continue to share the same ID for purchasing from the iTunes and App stores if you wish; it doesn't need to be the same as the ID you use for other services.) Once you've done this, on her device go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with the new ID. Do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.
Another caution is that if you share and iCloud account with her, any data you both sync with the account such as contacts, will be merged and the merged data will appear on both devices. If you don't want to end up with each other's contacts, calendars, etc. on your devices, you should have separate iCloud accounts to. If you want to make this change, go to Settings>iCloud on her device and tap Delete Account. (This only deletes the account from the device, not from iCloud.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data be sure to choose Keep On My iPod. Then set up a new iCloud account with her new ID, turn on iCloud data syncing again, and when prompted choose Merge. -
Why are some jpg images scrambled when they appear in my screen saver? The same images look fine in Preview and Finder. Some images appear scrambled in the screen saver 'preview' window and the actual screen saver. Other jpg images look fine.
The desktop image is fine, taken from the exact same pool of jpg photos. However, as soon as the slide show screen saver comes on, the images are scrambled. What is it about the apple screen saver algorithm that scrambles the pics?

I have finally been able to get the strobe effect stopped. I've restarted at least 7 times and each time I got the light grey screen with the darker grey apple and the spinning wheel, but not the log in box I used to get before the 5/21/14 update. But I called my son and he did some research and told me to hold down the Shift key and type in my password, even if it didn't appear in the log in box. It worked and the log in box appeared and I was able to type in my password. After doing this for each of the 7 times, on my last attempt it appears the strobe effect has been weeded out. Thank God - I thought I was going blind with it affecting every screen I was on.

I heard back from Nike+ support and they said that there will be newer pics soon and it also appears that this corrected itself for my runs, but not the user pic, I only get girly options, I wouldn't mind a picture of a guy on 'ROIDS!!! I've just started using the App Tabs. I think this feature could be handy but why are the sites not updated when I start Firefox. Now I have to manually update the site which is somewhat of a downer. Does any of you know where I'm going wrong?
To answer the post title FireFox save all downloads automatically in the download folder, which you can find in the Documents folder. If you want to choose where to save your downloads go to tools>options>check always ask me where to save files.
Secondly, I am assuming you have IE 8 installed as this is the only version that supports this fix that is currently not in beta. Go to control panel>internet options>advanced tab and reset the settings at the bottom. This may or may not fix the problem but it is a good first step. -

Amazon in general has equal or better prices than Apple for the equivalent merchandise. It really does not matter why. Just shop where you get the best value, selection, and convenience.
As Jim Z hints, Kindle books can run on a wide range of platforms, including iPads and Macs, by the use of the appropriate apps, which by the way are free.
