Why will my icloud calendar not sync between my iphone and calendar on Outlook PC?

I think I may be having the same issue In a round about kind of way.  Just got an iPhone4S ... everything worked great until today when I started tinkering with the settings in my new phone and noticed my cloud was getting full and I had two iPhone back ups on there at 4GB a piece.  So.... I deleted the old back up of the iPhone4 and after that is when I started noticing issues.  The cloud on my phone can no longer authenticate itself , unable to tell me when the last back up was, and will not perform a back up at all. Furthermore I am unable to download apps or updates on my iphone4S, they all sit in "waiting" status....
I also must say that I purchased an iPad 2 and still have my original ipad in the house and active.  Both back ups are in the cloud and both devices work fine independently and can download apps and back up fine as well. I'm pretty sure this may be the culprit concerning this issue and I too have no idea how to fix it. Please Help!!!

  • Why are my iCal calendars randomly disappearing with all their corresponding events?

Why are my ical calendars randonly disappearing? I updated to Maverick, but one disappeared before I did that update. I have 10 different calendars, each identified by its own color, example: "work" calendar is yellow, my personal calendar is green. Every month or so, one randomly disappears without my even being in the program or changing anything. Along with the calendar ALL its events are gone as well. None of those events show on my iphone, imac, ipad or macboook pro. They just vanish, along with many appointments I have scheduled, and their directions and info. Im SO FRUSTRATED! Im ready to go back to paper.

  • My ical is not syncing with my iPhone 4s.

My ical is not syncing with my iPhone 4s. I had mobileme and upgraded to iCloud. I also have Mac Lion and feel like I have all the upgrades required, but any time I enter a new event in my iCal, it never transfers to my iPhone. Note: when I enter an event in my phone, it DOES transfer properly to my iCal on my Mac.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

  • Why are my photostream photos not syncing to my new device?

Bought new iDevice (iPad4). Why are most of my photosteram photos on my iPhone not available on my new device? Only a few are (mostly recent).
    thanks for your help.

On the iPad and iPhone tap Settings > iCloud
Toggle Calendars off then back on then restart the devices.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

  • My ical will not sync to my iPhone 4s - I do not have iCloud

Ok, here goes.  I have been doing a lot of searching on this issue and I have not been able to find a solution.  I do not have the iCloud function on my Mac; I am on 10.6.8 and I refuse to pay for a software upgrade, so please no answers telling me to do this....
After a lot of frigging about ical now syncs to my husband's iPhone 5c from the Mac no problem via iTunes.  I have set up my phone and my iTunes account EXACTLY the same as his but not only is my calendar not syncing to my phone but all entries have been deleted!  I cannot understand why it works on one phone but not on the other.  My phone is a 4s.
Can anyone help?  Please note I am not very techy, so if you have any instructions, please make them detailed so I can follow them!
    Many thanks.

  • My iCal does not sync with my iphone . help.  it worked fine in mobleme

My iCal does not sync between my iMac and iPhone consistantly.  It worked fine with mobleme.   Any solutions?

Make sure that your Mac is subscribed to iCloud and is logged on to the calendar, there is no 'sync' in iCloud, whatever MM did is irrelevant.

  • Why are my iCal events not the same across views?

Help!  I've been editing my iCal in Month view and everything looks great... but then I look at the day view (or week, whatever) and it's not the same.  For example, in Month view for July 2 - I have one event scheduled from 8:30-noon.  Then I look at the day view... and there are 8 different events!  Most of them duplicates of different things that I had at one time or another deleted or changed.  Why didn't the "clean up" work that I did in the month view carry over to day or week view?  In fact the opposite, there are more things in day or week views than I ever created.
Recently upgraded to Lion from Snow Leopard.  Recently changed from mobileme to iCloud.  I only have iCal set to my iCloud account (no "on my mac" iCal calendar data). So the problem I see when editing on my MacBookPro is also seen when logged into iCloud directly via Safari and on my iPhone, iPad, etc.  At first I thought this was an iCloud syncing error because I only noticed the difference on my phone (list view)... but when I went back to my MacBookPro I realized the problem exists there too... so doesn't seem to be a syncing error, but rather a "view" error... then the "problem" is mirrored everywhere.
I've tried "refresh" and "refresh all" from the Calendar drop down menu.  This does nothing to help the problem... not that I really expected it would.
Thanks for any help you can provide.  I'm going crazy!
    Mac OS X 10.7.4; iCal 5.0.3

Fixed my own problem.  Ultamately a user error but tied to the many threads about the month view defaulting events to "all day" vs. hourly increment.  I knew that was the case, so when editing events from month view I made sure to add/change the time, but negected to look at "To" date.  If my event was for an hour, simply adding the hour pushed the day to span across dates so the event was really 25 hours.  Looked OK in the month view (just showed as a dot) but the day and week were all filled and casued the event to appear twice on the second day in list view (iPhone).  In the case of repeat events, sometimes "To" date ended up as the end date for the repeat cycle... which really messed every thing up... I believe causing what looked like duplicates, etc.

  • Why are some iCloud services not syncing with my Mac?

iCloud seems to be syncing just fine between my iPhone 4S (AT&T 4G) (iOS 5.1.1) and my iPad 2 (Wi-Fi + 3G) (iOS 5.1.1), but not with my MacBook Air (Late 2010) (Mountian Lion 10.8.1). Here's a list of iCould services that I've noticed are and are not working:
iCloud mail (@me.com) and Gmail syncs and updates on my computer sometimes. (I get that these might be seperate issues. I think I need to change the "port" on one or both – suggestions?).
Exchange email syncs and updates on my computer most of the time.
Notes syncs and updates on my computer never.
Photo Stream has stopped updating and syncing on my computer altogether (worked for the first few weeks and not for the past few weeks).
iMessage synced with my computer and phone before Mountian Lion released (that is, all incomming iMessages sent to my Apple ID would be recieved at my phone and computer), but I don't think it's worked since.
iCal, Contacts, and Reminders seem to update and sync on my computer all of the time.
Because they're all iCloud services I want to think there is a one common problem – which is why I've created only one thread. But because they are not common to all services, I'm guessing it might be a case by case basis.
Of course I should state all iCloud services are turned on for all devices and computer, and I am using the same Apple ID for them all. Also, all devices/computer are connected to internet via Wi-Fi/4G pretty much all the time. Finally, it's possible there are other issues I've missed—although it seems unlikely since I use them all, all the time)—I think this is a pretty good representation of my problems.
    Thanks for your help!!
    Sarah

For photo stream, if the source of the photos is an iOS device, be sure the photo app used to take the picture has been turned off, not just sleeping.
Have you rebooted the computer?  The router?

  • Why after IOS6 Ipad calendar not syncing with Icloud?

After I upgrade Iphone and Ipad to IOS6, my Ipad calendar doesn't sync with ICloud using exactly same Apple ID. Any sugestions?

    1. Fire up your Mac and connect the iPad.
    2. Open iTunes and confirm that you are NOT syncing via the cable. Change settings as appropriate. When finished, disconnect the iPad and power it down.
    3. Open iCal on the Mac and confirm that the events are correct. Add/delete events as appropriate. Quit from iCal.
    4. Open System Preferences > MobileMe > Sync
    5. Click on "Advanced" and then click on your Mac when it shows up.
    6. Click on "Reset Sync Data"
    7. At the top, Replace: Calendars
    8. Click the right-pointing arrow so that the complete text states: "Replace Calendars on MobileMe with sync info from this computer."
    9. Click "Replace"
    10. You've confirmed that your Mac and MobileMe are set up properly. Now the iPad. Fire up the iPad and go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    11. REMOVE Calendar syncing from the account that's identified by your email address.
    12. Follow the instructions below.

  • ICal calendars not syncing with iPhone 4 running iOS 4.0.2

I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 4.0.2
I'm using iCal on my MBP running Mac OS 10.6.4
    I have a MobileMe account.
Never had an issue with calendars syncing with the iPhone previously.
I am using MobileMe Calendar Beta. This now displays my calendars in iCal under my MobileMe account name (eg. [email protected]) rather than the 'On My Mac' section that it use to.
I have five separate calendars in iCal on the Mac all named appropriately (eg. Work, Personal etc.) and all that appears on the iPhone is one calendar named 'Calendar' with no events in it??
I've used MobileMe (.Mac) and iPhone syncing for years and have them set up as I always have.
Does anyone have the same issues? Does anyone have any constructive advise?
    Thanks
    Jeff

Wendy G. : OK, thank you.
    Devendra : pl wait...its syncing
Wendy G. : OK, no problem
Devendra : While its syncing..what's the next step?
Wendy G. : Once the syncing has completed, we will take the iPhone and go to Settings>Mail Contacts and Calendars.
Wendy G. : We will first switch the Contacts only to "off" and select "Delete" data.
Wendy G. : Then we will go back to Settings>Mail Contacts and Calendars and switch only the contacts to "On" and "Do not Merge" data, but we will need to wait until the syncing is complete OK?
Devendra : ok..its done on the Mac. i am on the Mail, Contacts and Calendar page of the phone. from where do I switch the contacts off?
Wendy G. : Please tap your MobileMe account name and the sliders will appear.
Devendra : After selecting "Do Not Merge", should I select "Keep on My iPhone"?
Wendy G. : No, please delete, the data will merge fresh from www.me.com, which is what we want!
    Devendra : done
Wendy G. : OK, very good!
Wendy G. : Please go to Settings>Mail Contacts and Calendars, tap your MobileMe account and then select "Calendars" only.
Wendy G. : Please switch them to off, "Do not Merge" and "Delete"
Wendy G. : Once that is complete, then you will switch them to "On" using the same process, by selecting "Do not Merge" once again and "Delete" from the phone.
Devendra : Switched it off but after turning On again, it didnt ask me for anything, simply the switch turned to On
Wendy G. : OK, thank you.
Wendy G. : Please place a test contact and a test event on the iPhone, and also place on your Mac, to verify if the syncing has resolved OK.
Devendra : ok, pl hold on
Wendy G. : OK, take your time.
Devendra : my contacts list on the phone is empty
Wendy G. : Yes, that is expected.
Wendy G. : Please put a test contact there and the information will refresh from www.me.com
Wendy G. : Also please verify your iPhone is set this way:
Wendy G. : Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>MobileMe account, tap it>Fetch new data>Set your Push to "on" and select "every 15 minutes please.
Devendra : yes, its that way only
Wendy G. : OK, thank you.
Devendra : Just as I was creating a new contact, all the contacts came back.
Wendy G. : Once you have the test event and contact on the iPhone and the Mac, please open www.me.com and verify when they arrive there!
Wendy G. : OK, very good, thanks Devendra!
Devendra : Bingo! Its syncing fine now.

  • A possible fix for iCal calendars not syncing with "iDevices"

    Hi everyone,
I had this problem in the past with my iPod and suddenly the same is happening to my iPhone: Calendars are no longer syncing to my "iDevices". This started with 10.5 for me, but ymmv.
There are lots of  Discussions suggesting to export all calendars, delete and then re-import. Resetting the Sync History in iSync's Preferences is mentioned all the time.
I tried all that, but it never worked for me. Sometimes the calendars list in iTunes just went empty and other times it didn't show all my calendars or only very old, long deleted ones. Since the behaviour is the same with my iPod and my iPhone I could at least rule out a problem there.
But today I finally discovered the culprit:
I am sharing my calendars via icalx.com and it turns out that sometimes iCal simply "forgets" the URL I have set there and reverted back to .Mac which I don't use. Reverting all the URLs to the correct values solved the problem immediately. All calendars do sync perfectly again now!
So if you're having the same problems it might be a good idea to check the URLs of all those shared (and subscribed?) calendars in iCal...
    Have fun!
    Björn
PS: It may have nothing to do with it, but I also deleted the Birthday Calendar during the process and re-added it via iCal's Preferences.

  • My iCal does not sync with my iPhone

I use to be able to get up to date info on both my iPhone and iCal at simultaneously, but now for some reason my iPhone does not get any changes I make in iCal. Help!

I had been reading this thread and many other iPhone and iCal sync problem threads to try to solve my issue. My issue was similar to the OP in that my calendar events on my iPhone were not being sync'd to iCal and also that events created in iCal were not being sync'd to the iPhone. Here's what I tried that didn't work
Backed up iCal, deleted all my calendars, created a fake placeholder calendar and then re-imported/restored my iCal data
    Reset "Sync History" using iSync
Some forum poster had said something about how their problem had resolved after they had deleted all (some?) of their subscribed calendars in the iCal sidebar. Well, I had only one subscription calendar and that was a "US Holiday" calendar that I subscribed to almost 2 years ago. Was it through iCalx? I don't recall where I got the URL, but it was something from the Web. In any event, I deleted the susbscribed calendar and tried re-syncing and everything was transferred (phone to calendar and calendar to phone). Also this is only my theory since I also changed one other setting in iTunes. It was the "Don't Sync Events That Are Older Than" setting in iTunes. I changed this setting from "120 days" (an arbitrary number I had created) to another poster's suggestion about making it "10 days." Anyway, I hope this helps someone! I'm so thankful everything's working again.

  • Why is my iPad calander not synced with my iPhone?

I just got the iPhone 5 it works great! But my iPad is not syncing the calendar. The reminders sync but the calendar doesn't. What gives?
    iCloud seems to be working.

Do you have Calendars turned ON in Settings > iCloud on your iPad?
What iOS level are you running on the iPad?

  • Why are my ratings stars not syncing with Lightroom mobile?

Some photos are rated in Lightroom desktop, but when I sync that collection with mobile, the ratings do not carry over. Any idea why?

Is there any movement on this? My main reason for the LR app is to do my rating (too unreliable) and tagging (not possible). Editing is secondary as I prefer doing that on my macbook, so the whole 'mobile' offering is currently not much use to me.
For the record, here are Lightroom ratings on the first four images of a collection:
here is a screenshot of the web/mobile version. I re-rated two images after the initial sync, and they show stars, but the others remain blank:
