Why are my ipad photos blurry

They were probably taken in low light, the brighter the lighting the better the photo. Lower light levels require the shutter to be open longer which require the camera to be held steady for a longer period of time. If you move the photo is blurred. So you will have to be more steady when taking the photo indoors or you will get blurring.
The same is true for all cameras and why they have a flash. More expensive cameras with better lenses and larger sensors will work better in lower light, but still can require a tripod to minimize any movement which can cause blurring.

  • Why are previews in Bridge blurry (not rendering properly)?

Why are previews in Bridge blurry (not rendering properly)?
I found a simple answer to this question: control click on the thumbnail and select "purge cache for selection"
After years of intermittently having this problem, this solved the issue. I had just finished a fresh install of main sys hd (new hd) and first time opening bridge encountered this issue again after not having the problem for a few years.
    Hope this helps others.

  • HT201210 Why are my ipad colors are all green and pink?

Why are my I pad2 colors all green and pink?

    Because something is wrong.
    To fix, try:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset : Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings.
If still problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Why are Folio pages initially blurry and take a few seconds to render?

    Hi.
My Folio pages all take a moment to render when viewed on the ipad with adobe viewer, which means they are blurry for a few seconds then they become crisp when they are fully rendered. It really kills the whole feel of my work, making it feel cheap. I tried chaning over some of the imported ai files to PNG but it still happens. Is there anyway to fix this? Also, my goal is turn this into an app, will this blur/render also happen when this is output as an app?
    Thanks for your help.
    Paul

this delayed blurring issue happens to my folio... It seems to be a new issue for me. I've been working with dps folios for a couple years... Never noticed it so bad before on my previous products. In fact, I took a break for a few weeks on a current project and just started working on the folio again... A few weeks ago my folio didn't blur so bad. It's not that much more complicated now than it was then, but this week the blur thing was WAY more noticeable of a delay. What gives? I use PDF format, then and now... Haven't changed any settings.  Doesn't happen so bad on an ipad2 but really delayed on ipad3

  • Why are pre-built graphics blurry on retina displays?

I have designed multiple vector infographics in Inkpad (iPad app) and imported them into Adobe Muse. The desktop version of graphics looks great. iPad version is blurry and pixelated.
No matter how I export the grpahics (ie: .png, .jpeg, .gif) it is always way below par on iPad. I have also tried making the images much larger in AI, still nothing is working. This is extremely frustrating and seems like it should be more simple. Is there a work around for importing .svg into muse sites via the "Insert HTML" feature?
So far I have had the best luck saving in PNG-24
    The website is viztech.businesscatalyst.com

Do they still look blurry on the "best" setting for Retina?
The problem I see is, there are many applications around that were created a decade ago, and the developers have moved on. These are still valuable applications for many people. Are they just always going to look crappy on the Retina MacBook? That sounds pretty undesirable.
The difference with the iPhone is, the Retina was an upgrade, but didn't make existing applications look worse.

  • Why are the ipad 2 cameras so poor?

i received an ipad 2 as a gift nearly a year ago and have a quick question. why is the camera so, well, unusable? are there any plans on upgrades? i figured that this would be one of the ever-advertised features, but my 6 year old phone takes better pictures -literally!  does anyone know the reasoning behind this? it's incredibly inconvenient as much of my online social functioning is through my ipad.
    thanks for any answers, -Daniel.

The cameras in the iPad are there primarily to support the FaceTime and PhotoBooth functions.
The iPad is really too large to be used conveniently as a point-and-shoot camera.
As far as upgrades go, there's bound to be another iPad and specifcations are never lower than what has already been, but don't expect optics as good as a dedicated camera phone such as the iPhone 4S.

  • Why are my iPads not charging?

Between my wife and myself we have 4 iPads (two are minis) and over the last few months they have all started displaying the "not charging" flag up by the battery icon.  They will charge fine when turned off (although I have no idea if the rate of charge is standard in that case).  I am using all 2.1A chargers so I assume that the potential is there (haven't really measured them), and have probabl changed out most of the cables to non-Apple cords (I can't tell them apart in most cases).  I am suspicious of two things: iOS updates that have had some charging effect, and the use of non-Apple cords.
I've tried the reset as described in other posts related to this condition, but without success.
Is there something that I should know?

Thanks for your attempted help guys, but it has not been fruitful.  I will take a couple of my chargers, cords and iPads to the local store and see if they can (1) tell me why the iPads aren't charging, (2) how to differentiate Apple chargers from non-Apple chargers and (3) help me replace whatever I need to replace.  What I know is that in the future, whenever I pull a charger out of an Apple box (purchased from Apple), I'm going to mark it with a big permanent "A" on the side, because all my chargers are identical, but I'm pretty sure that some were purchased off-market.
    I'll publish what I learn.

  • Why are incoming MMS pictures blurry and pixelated?

This isn't a problem that I used to have on my old GS3. I was able to send and receive MMS pictures with no problems. However I now have a new Moto X (2014) and all the MMS pics I get are very poor quality and grainy. It makes reading any text in the pic/screenshot almost impossible to read at times.
Everything that I've been able to find indicates that it's an issue with MMS being automatically downgraded, but I don't buy that because, as I mentioned earlier, this was not a problem on my old phone. I have tried various messaging apps (Google Messenger, Google hangouts, the Verizon messaging app) and they all have the same problem. My wife has the same issue with her Moto X (2014). Similarly, she did not have this issue on her old phone which was some older Samsung with a slide out keyboard.
I'm really hoping someone can tell me how to fix this so I can again receive MMS in proper quality.
And no, sending the pictures via email, social media, etc. is not a "fix". This is something that used to work and now doesn't. I shouldn't have to force my friend to send me a picture through some other means when texting used to work just fine in the past.
I should also add that my friend receives my pictures clearly with no quality issues. I am not sure if that is because he has a different carrier (AT&T) or because he has an iPhone. My wife on Verizon with a Moto X (2014) receives blurry MMS from me.
Here are some examples of the bad quality (all sent from my friend with an iPhone on AT&T):

Here is a screenshot of the image quality when my iPhone friend sent me a message in GroupMe:

As you can see, the image quality is A LOT better when sent through GroupMe.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, I was having issues accessing this account again.
This happens with every single picture that I've received on my new phone, even when I send myself a picture.
When I got my new phone, my old texts had been transferred from my old Samsung Galaxy S3 to my new Moto X 2014. I went back and found a text from September 28, which was the last day I had my old phone (I upgraded September 29th). All pictures pre Sept. 29 were perfectly clear. All texts post Sept. 29 are blurry. Here are examples of similar pictures sent to me both before and after the upgrade.

  • Why are iPhone/iPad Development courses so expensive?

Hi. I recently wanted to start learning about how to make iPhone/iPad apps after having a couple of good ideas for ones. Unfortunately, while I am very Mac proficient and computer savvy, I don't have any experience with coding. It appears you need some basic knowledge of coding to start making apps. But when I search around for online courses, or community college courses for iPhone/iPad development, they are all incredibly expensive, ranging from $1000 to $3,000.
I'm just wondering if anyone can help me understand why these courses are so pricy.
It would seem the best (cheapest) way to learn is to sift through all the free resources on the net and buy a book or two. Does anyone else have any good ideas? I think it would be very helpful to be in a classroom course, but there's no way I can afford thousands of dollars for something I essentially want to do as a hobby.
    Thank you!

You would need to ask this of the training company or school offering the course. But it's not inexpensive to hire teachers who know enough about development to teach a class, nor to provide a computer lab in which students can work.
If you want to do this just as a hobby, then the printed materials and web sites offering development help, along with the free course Stanford offers through iTunes U:
    http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=395605774
would be the way to go. If you have no experience in programming, you'll need to start by learning at least the rudiments of the C programming language before you dive into iOS development.
    Regards.

  • Why are my iPads not syncing books?

I have an original iPad and an iPad 3 and, after the recent updates, two weird things are occurring. One is that, when I purchase a book on one iPad, it no longer automatically downloads and installs it on the other. It does download it, but it is in the cloud, and you have to install it yourself. Prior to the changes, it automatically installed it into the library. I've checked my settings, and they seem right. Is this normal now or what? Second, when my wife uses her iPad 3 to read a book, sometimes out of the blue it asks for the username and password. When she hits cancel, it just goes away but the iPad still allows her to read the book. Once again, I've checked my settings, and everything seems normal. What's going on here? Can anyone help?

Thanks for your attempted help guys, but it has not been fruitful.  I will take a couple of my chargers, cords and iPads to the local store and see if they can (1) tell me why the iPads aren't charging, (2) how to differentiate Apple chargers from non-Apple chargers and (3) help me replace whatever I need to replace.  What I know is that in the future, whenever I pull a charger out of an Apple box (purchased from Apple), I'm going to mark it with a big permanent "A" on the side, because all my chargers are identical, but I'm pretty sure that some were purchased off-market.

  • Why are iPhone/iPad apps stored on iMac now?

On my iMac I have iTunes, library, and in there have loads of apps for iPhone and iPad. In fact they take up 25Gb I've just checked. Now we have numerous iPhones and iPads in the household, but only sync with iTunes for music, and do it wirelessly anyway. Its my music so I have to look after it as such.
With apps though they are all held on Apple servers, e.g. when you do a iCloud restore, on the iPhone/iPad they are just "markers" and then they redownload, otherwise the iCloud backups would be HUGE. SO the apps are held on Apple's side, and I'm happy with this.
So why do I need to store 25GB+ on my iMac, wasting HDD space, and more crucially more Cloud (Non Apple Livedrive/crashplan type) backup space that I subscribe to is getting used by this.
I need to regularly update all apps on my iMac, for no reason really either , as I just update on the individual iPhones/iPads anyway. Can someone tell me why its needed (apart from plunging in to sync maybe), why have all them on the iMac etc.
    thanks

  • Why are these placed images blurry??

I created an image in Photoshop that has: resolution 72 pix/in, 600 px by 800 px (about the average screen size of ereaders)
This is what the image looks like on Photoshop at 100% zoom: http://i.imgur.com/0dNU2lU.png
When I Place the jpg image in Indesign, it looks blurry and pixelated: like this
I looked on other similar threads from google, but it seems those people hadn't been using the correct resolution of 72 dpi. But my images in Photoshop ARE at 72 dpi. Is there anything else you would recommend to do? I would really appreciate any help!
    Also, if it helps:
I'm working on an epub document with these settings: screenshot
This is what the frame fitting options window looks like when I select the image on Indesign: http://i.imgur.com/WqRxAaS.png

First off, for text like that youreally should just build the page in ID.
But to get the best preview, and that's what it it is, a preview, not the acutal pixels as you see in an editor like photoshop, use View > Display Performance > High Quality Display.

  • Why are the fonts so blurry on iMac 27 in OsX?

I just got a new iMac 27, my first Apple desktop.
And I'm sorely disappointed with how fonts look. Sort of clumpy and blurry, as if they are mismatched to the resolution of the screen.
I tried a number of sizes, fonts, apps, browsers (Safari and Chrome), brightness settings. Even changed my glasses.
Then I installed Windows 8 in Bootcamp. Perfectly clear fonts on exactly the same hardware!
I am seriously considering returning the iMac as I'm getting headaches.
Before I do, I thought I'd ask here if there is something I'm missing and there is some solution?
    Thanks in advance.

I did call Support, spent 1hr40 with them on the phone, so far have no resolution but the case is still on-going. The only action proposed was to delete the partition and reinstall OS X. This did not change anything.
After the reinstall I captured some screenshots. Unfortunately this forum does not post the images in their full resolution, so it may not be as obvious when you read it:
    On OS X, using Safari:
The same website on Windows 8:
And an article, again first in OS X:
    and in Windows:
    I rest my case.

  • Why are my foxtabs too blurry to read?

my foxtabs are too blurry to read. i know which ones are which because i chose them but my wife can't use them because they are not clear enough to see the print.

The addition of graphics acceleration in Firefox 4-5 sometimes leads to blurry fonts. You could test turning off graphics acceleration in Firefox to see whether that fixes it.
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, ''uncheck'' "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You may need to restart Firefox for this to take effect. Does it make any difference?
