Why are my pdf vector graphics edges all furry?

I'm printing (and tried simply saving) pdfs from an illustrator file. When I view the pdfs the vector
graphics (eg. a vector logo) are jagged, furry or misaligned at 100% or any similar view. If I zoom
right in on the logo, it gradually gets cleaner lines and better definition, but always looks
a little wobbly and furry around the edges, like its not a true curve or displaying cleanly. Images
are fine within illustrator. Its not my acrobat settings as other pdfs view fine.

I'm going to answer my own question and then ask another.... Why?
When I open just one PDF document it look great. but when i open two, the second
document always has this fuzziness to the edges. Doesnt matter which documents I open
This is a close up of two documents opened and the windows placed over each other. As hopefully you can see
in this screen capture, the one on the right has a furry edge and looks quite rough. Its the document opened second.
Any ideas?

It depends on the type of email account you are using, not on iCloud. If you are using an IMAP or exchange account, when you delete from one device, it is deleted from all devices. If you are using a POP (POP3) account, it won't. (iCloud email, Gmail and Yahoo are all IMAP accounts.)

Photos are only uploaded to iCloud after photo stream is enabled. It's possible that you already had 300 photos in your camera roll when you turn it on so they weren't uploaded. Also, photo stream also only maintains photos for 30 days, although earlier photos already streamed to your device from photo stream are not deleted. If you had turned photo stream off, then back on, and the 300 photos fell outside of this 30-day window at the time, they would not be in your photo stream album. (FYI, photo stream will also only save the last 1000 photos.)
If you delete the photos on your phone from the camera roll album, photo stream will be not be effected. If you delete them from the photo stream album on your phone, they will be deleted from your photo stream on your phone and any other devices connected to the same iCloud account/photo stream.
To keep your camera roll photos permanently, don't rely on photo stream as a backup. Import them to your computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083).

Why are my ".pdf" files not opening in Creative Cloud? The tumbril shows up as a blank page!

I just switched over from Adobe Acrobat Cloud to Creative Cloud; a tedious task. Most of my files open up fine, but some of them show up as a blank page thumb nail. They do have ".pdf" extension. Any ideas as to why this is happening, and what I can do to correct the issue?

@masood131 - A few questions:
Are the pdf files without a thumbnail password protected? (Probably not but just checking since we will not be able to provide a preview for such a file).
If you click on the blank thumbnail to view the individual file page do you see a larger preview image, or is that blank too?
If you refresh the browser page does the thumbnail image show?
If you upload the file a second time do you see a thumbnail image?

Why does my PDF appear in Corel all garbled?

I have to get some posters & signs printed for an event urgently!
I did the artwork in InDesign & exported it to 'High Quality Print' PDF.
I took these PDFs to the printer & they opened them in Corel which they use to print off & it opened completly wierd & garbled. All the text was chinese & the document was a mess.
Why is this happeneing? How can I stop this or change it?
I tried to save the files to an ESP but it comes up witrh an error message "Export Error: Error due to an out of memory condition"
Would opening the ID file in Illustrator & then sending the file to the printer as an EPS help?

Neither CorelDRAW nor Adobe Illustrator are PDF file editors. The only PDF files that CorelDRAW can reliably and successfully open, edit, and/or print are PDF files created directly by CorelDRAW. Likewise, the only PDF files that Adobe Illustrator can reliable and successfully open, edit, and/or print are PDF files saved directly from the same or later version of Adobe Illustrator, assuming the “retain editability” option was specified.
The only safe program to open and print all PDF files from is Adobe Acrobat. Alternatively, a PDF file may be safely printed from a print system that natively RIPs PDF.
The fact that your “printer” is attempting to print your PDF files via CorelDRAW or even Adobe Illustrator demonstrates that your “printer” is very sorely lacking in knowledge of PDF workflow. I most strongly recommend that you find a better-educated “printer” with reliable workflows.

Why are my PDFs sorted differently in Bookshelf or Titles view?

I scanned 68 chapters of two med textbooks (2000 pages) so I can access them easier on my iPad.
It works OK but there is one odd thing-after dragging the chapters to iTunes and syncing them, I get different sort orders for the "Bookshelf" view and "Titles" view depending on if I am in ICON mode or LIST view mode (top upper right)
The chapters are each named 01.pdf, 02.pdf, 03.pdf, etc etc.
If I look at them in "List" view, with the TITLES button selected they are all sorted from 01-68 properly.
If I look at them in "List" view, with the "BOOKSHELF" button selected, they randomly populate the bookshelf from top to bottom.
This is the same when I view them in ICON mode. They are all out of order.
I know I can drag them around to re-arrange them, but this is a real pain.
Also- I can't just choose "TITLES" and then click ICON view, it reverts to "Bookshelf view"
I was planning to put more textbooks in. A lot more.
What causes them to be sorted randomly when they are in "Bookshelf" view?
I would like to find a way around this so I can either re-name them properly or adjust whatever meta-data (if anything) is causing this.

Unfortunately this has been an issue with iBooks since day one. Bookshelf view has never been sorted alphabetically. Hopefully in a future update this issue will be resolved...
I personally gave up on iBooks for PDF files because of the inability to sort the Bookshelf view with any consistency. I'd recommend looking into the Goodreader app for storing your PDFs. With Goodreader you can create folders within the app for each book and they will sorted in proper order.

Why are the PDF files in v27 bigger than in v25?

I have just created a v27 version of my single iOS app, which has been v25 before. Now the app has a size of about 550 MB instead of about 430 MB. I found out that the PDF files of the slideshows are bigger than before. What is the reason for this change and is there a way to get smaller file sizes again?

No idea? At least someone of the staff should know why the DPS creates larger files now.
There is another issue which indicates that Adobe doesn't care about file sizes. In slideshows the DPS always uses PNG files (if you don't choose PDF files, which are larger now, as I have told you). Of course it is because of transparency, but it would be easy to let the user choose between PNG and JPG like Twixl does.

You should report this via Gold Support who will investigate this. Minor file size changes will always occure on releases, however since you report the size change is significant, there may be some issue and needs further testing.

Why are lots of my graphics loading as question marks?

for about a week now my safari browser has been loading "? boxes" instead of some graphics. even in this forum and the apple store. i've also had similar trouble with the itunes store, but instead of "? boxes" they are "broken chain links". i have updated everything i can think of. i'm not seeing my exact problem here in any forums. any thought or similar problems would be appreciated.

Upgrade to 10.4.8 via the appropriate Combo Updater may fix it. Read up on precautions. After you have the .dmg file: restart to shut down all apps, disconnect peripherals especially FW. Don't do anything w puter while installing.

Sorry, but that is NOT what web-safe colors refer to. In the
old days many
users had 8-bit graphics cards capable of displaying only 256
colors.
Web-safe colors were those included in the most common 256
color palette.
Today hardly anybody uses 8-bit graphics cards so designers
are safe using
full-color (24- or 32-bit) palettes. Your comment that colors
are subjective
is correct if you mean that colors will often display
somewhat differently
computer to computer. This is because of the wide variation
of graphic
cards, monitors, room lighting, etc. What looks like dark red
on my screen
might look brown on another. This is unavoidable.

Why are my photos and Camera App all messed up??

Since I upgraded to iOS 8 my photos and camera app seem all screwed up. I take sideways photos like I always do, and when I go to look at them on the phone, they look vertical or sideways. I can no longer scroll sideways through my photos, but have to do it vertical now...but not all the time. My photos are upside down at times, sideways, just never right. I have taken my pics the same way for years, now it seems the new iOS 8 just ruined everything. VERY angry with Apple now. I try to show people my photos and half are upside down and sideways. When I flip the phone, the pics flip too. I also do not use the volume button to take pics, always the button on the screen. What a joke.

I tried all the resets, nothing. I did a search and apparently others are having issues with the camera with iOS8. I have a bunch of videos now that I took of my daughter, wanted full screen so I took them horizontally like I always did, but when I look at them on my computer they are vertical and sideways. Half of my photos are upside down, sideways, and why do i now have to swipe up and down instead of side to side when I look at them? APple really screwed up with iOS8. Big time. it also ruined my **** iPad 2 since I had no idea until it was too late that it was too slow for the new iOS. Really done with Apple.

I'm downloading PDF files via Safari , opening in ibooks, and its all good for a day or so, then any PDF downloaded or opened from another app such as Google Drive just disappears! All other content is fine, its just PDF's....any ideas?

Just throwing this in the mix. My contacts had disappeared as well a couple of days ago. Very upsetting. I tried a couple of things with no effect. This morning I turned my 4s iphone off, turned it back on. Went to contacts and with no contacts showing as before, I decided i would try adding a new one. I created a contact by the name of test, and saved without further info added and all my contacts came back. Don't know why but that's what happened. Good luck.
P.S. Come on Apple get the fix out on this, between the music app that doesn't play and the contacts disappearing, you're freaking us out.

Why are my PDFs missing?

I deleted Adobe Reader iOS from my iPad while I upgraded my system. I've done this before and when I downloaded Adobe back all my stuff was still there before. However this time everything did not come back and my Adobe Reader is empty. I'm even signed into my account. I backed up my iPad before updating and I though Adobe was an app that was set to be backed up as well but I can't find my PDFs on my laptop or iTunes either. I also thought Adobe was considered storage which was why I had a sign in account to keep my stuff. Is this a lost cause and I somehow screwed up and everything is gone? I don't know what to do or how to even go about looking for my PDFs. I think I did something incorrectly. Can someone please help!

This is not particular to Adobe Reader for iOS.
If you delete any iOS app, the data associated with that app is deleted. That's because iOS separates each app with its data from all other apps.
You're learning a bitter lesson of computing: Whether you're working on a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone, all data must be backed up. Hopefully, in the future you'll keep a copy of your data in another location. You could do this via iTunes, Dropbox, Acrobat.com, or any number of methods.

Why are my PDF copies so dirty?

I recently updated from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 8.1 (via a download from Microsoft). After reinstalling all of my software, I immediately noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in the quality of copies I was getting from my Adobe software. Originally, I thought it was an issue with my Neat Scanner software, but after printing my PDF from a different computer, I realized the scanner was not the problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all of my Adobe software more than once, but nothing is working. If I open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, I can use clean up the PDF some by using the "Optimize Scanned PDF" option, but it still doesn't come out a clear as it did before I updated to Windows 8.1.
I'm so frustrated! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Most printing issues are solved by resetting the Printing preferences. When you print from Firefox and you click on the down arrow, do you see Defualt and Firefox? Please make changes to the preferences here and preview the document.

Why are my PDF files so big when I open them or when I print them out? I only see and print half of the document, didn't have any problem on internet explorer

I was trying to print something from the internet and when I did what came out was half of the document. What should have been printed in 1 sheet of paper was printed in 2 and it was only half of the document because the letters and images were too large.
I noticed that when I saved the document from the Internet to my folder the document was in half. I tried to save it again but it didn't work. I tried to fix the printer to see if that was the reason but still I continued to see only half of the document. I tried printing again but still the same thing happened.
I thought it was a problem with my printer but then I remembered that the same thing happened with other PDFs files. I then tried the same thing on Internet Explorer and when I saved the document I saved the whole document not only half of it and the letters and images where not large like when I used Mozilla. I was also able to print the whole document in 1 sheet of paper.
I don't how to solve this problem, thank you for your help and attention
