Why are my playlists on iphone all messed up?

Since updating to IOS 5 I have noticed that my playlists are all jacked up. I want the playlists to play in order of popularity like they do in itunes on my mac. Any suggestions??

I'm not sure how true this is..... Then again I'm not sure I totally understand this whole cloud thing yet. But I have 742 photos on my photo stream on my iPhone and only 144 of them on my iPad. I turned off photo stream on the iPad and turned it back on and it loaded even less then the original 144 pics. I'm at a loss. They were all synced with my iPad until recently. And if this statement is true about syncing only the new ones since turning on photo stream then my iPad photo stream would have loaded zero pics. What happened?

I would try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. Once the phone restarts, see if it is working correctly. It sounds to me like you may have too many text messages in the Messages app. Have you deleted anything from there lately?

As you can see, the original post, almost a year old already, received no replies. That is undoubtedly due to the total lack of details and the cryptic nature of the message.
I cannot imagine what this is all about. What presets? Where do you see this icon? In the application itself or when looking at the preset folder in your OS navigator (Apple's Finder, Win Explorer)? What does it look like, a padlock or a circle with a diagonal through it?
Please provide both a screen shot of the issue and some sensible information. We don't even know what your platform is Mac or windows.

Why are my playlists empty?

Ok, bought a 5s. All of my music is on an ipad2, pc that all my devices were synced to is dead and gone, never resynced, just used the ipad2.
Had all the files on a HD. Transfered the files into new itunes install on new pc. Got all the music back in itunes. Restored the settings for my 5s from full icloud backup. Plugged it into pc with new itunes install, with all my music newly added. Did a full backup into itunes on the pc. Restored the phone from that backup to associate the 5s with this itunes. Synced my entire library of music onto my 5s (larger capacity than old phone, decided to put all the music on). Everything seems cool. No lost data, auto sign in apps all still working....
why are some of my playlist blank or incomplete?
all the songs are there. the playlists aren't in the new itunes install, but they are still on the phone. Why can't the phone see that the files in those playlists are right there?

See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. If you have all the media then my scripts ImportDevicePlaylists and SyncStats may well let you recover some more useful information from the device without any other tools.

Why are my pictures in the "All Photos" Album out of order?

Within Albums there is an "All Photos" folder but some of the photos are out of order. How is this "All Photos" album different to the "Photos" view (which is in the correct order) and why are they not the same?

Thanks, that's a helpfuland explanation of the difference and makes sense as all my photos are actually in an album (which was an event in the previous version).
However it doesn't explain why the order in "all photos" is different. It is not in the order that the albums are arranged, and odd photos seem randomly scattered about separated from other photos from the same album.
On a separate note It's also a shame as there is no way of arranging the albums chronologically (which you could do with events)

Do a sync.
Then check the box.
And sync again.

My selected playlists are not syncing from Itunes to my iPhone. As a music teacher this is extremely problematic as I use my phone as my primary music player. Anyone know why all music syncs but not the playlists?

First, you're not talking to Apple - this is a users' forum. Second, sync operations work one way - iTunes to iDevice; create and modify your playlists in iTunes, then sync them to your iPhone.

Why are my playlists deleted from my iPhone?

I've had this iPhone 4 for about a year now, and during most of this time it was synched with one single computer (I manually manage my musics and videos). Recently I had to change computers, and after that I started having some trouble with my playlists: all playlists created in my iPhone (on the go) are deleted as soon as I connect my iPhone into a computer and sync it with iTunes. Any ideas on why this is happening, or how i can fix it?

I figured out why this was happening to me. I have an Iphone 5 & i sync notes to yahoo & periodically my notes get deleted without my knowledge. Here's the story, & I'll need help finding the actual feature on itunes cause I don't sync to itunes since I can't. Iphone 5's will not sync with my power mac.
- Periodically I noticed notes disappearing from my notes. Sometimes a couple notes, sometimes a lot of notes. This was frustrating. The only good part was that they all appeared on my mail account so they weren't gone forever. They were just being deleted from my notes app. I then noticed that this was only happening when I plugged my phone into my work computer to get power. Itunes would pop up & attempt to sync my phone. (I turned off auto sync in the Itunes options, but every now and then, some co worker turnes it back on. One time when I plugged my phone to the work computer & it started to sync. I stopped it, then checked my notes. It was in the process of wiping the notes. It started from the top & went down. I must of stopped the sync in time to save some of them. Now if I had to guess, there is probably a "delete synced notes" check box in your device page of itunes. That I cannot verify cause I do not want to sync my device to my work computer to find out.. Can anyone else verify this?

Why are the chargers for iPhones breaking so easily in the same area all the time?

Me & my family all have iphones. So in that being said we all have our own chargers. But every 4 to 7 months the front end of where the cable begins to break & tear. This isnt the first time it has happened. I think there should be a new design for the cabels in that certain area.

Why are my playlists on itunes and iphone in a different order?

In itunes I have a playlist title "000" to keep it at the top of my playlists. It's where I dump new stuff I want to listen to. However, on my iphone, that list shows up at the bottom. ***? I was hoping this would be addressed in iOS 6 but it was not. Seems like such a strange inconsistency for Apple. Anyone know how to fix this (other than naming it "AAA" or something like that)?

I found the answer ... You have to go to the upper most left column (above the numbers) and click to place an arrow there. That was the only playlist I didn't have an arrow showing. Once I did this, I could once again move the songs in the order I wanted.

I am not working with Icloud
since the update - all my playlists have dissappeared, I cannot synchronize the music to the Iphone (I am asked to delete the paylist altogether)
and when I want to play some of the titles I have bought from the store before the update I am asked to register???
what is happending there?

Chances are that iTunes is uploading NEW content to your iPhone... since the songs are on your iPhone, but not on your computer, your computer is not removing them from your phone.
Second option:
The songs are still in the main library. have you checked the list of ALL of your songs on your computer?
