Why are my templates in spanish?

When opening a template in pages the document body is in another language. Why?! and how do I change it back to English?

Latin. So that you can see the shape of the text on the page without being distracted by the meaning of the words.
Click in the text. Start typing. It's placeholder text. and clicking automatically selects all of the text in that container. A single keystrole deletes all the placeholder text and starts replacing it with the 'real' text (in whatever language you choose.

I have found that all the templates in my Pages program are in French. dont know why..can i change this?

No, the templates aren't in French (or Spanish) but a form of Latin known as "Greeking." DennisG's user tip, Placeholder text in a foreign language, explains it.

Apple has a forum for iWork. You would be better off posting questions about Pages in that forum rather than the Leopard forum.

I agree. I used to rent TV shows all the time. I'd much rather own a movie than own a tv show. If Apple is going to compete with cable companies, they need to provide either rentals or rental one-time (at your convenience) passes. Or maybe some sort of network pass for all shows on a particular network. I only have basic cable, and I don't have a DVR. Why would I want to own all of the shows I'm just trying to watch as I would on regular cable.
Seriously, Apple, I want to give you my money for a really good service, but you're making if very hard on me. $2.99 for watching a show one time is absurd. Especially when the show will most likely end up on Netflix within a year.

The scary language is Latin, quotes from Cicero to be precise.
It is Placeholder Text designed to show the appearance and layout of the document.
You click in it, something most people try, and it is selected. You then type to replace it.

Why are the threads start and terminate randomly?

Hi there,
I got the program below. I am wondering why are the threads start and terminate randomly? Everytime, I run the program, it produces different results.
I know that these four threads have got same normal priority (should be 5), and under windows there is something called timeslice. Then these four threads rotate using this timeslice. How do we know what exactly the timeslice is in seconds? If the timeslice is fix, then why the results are ramdom?

Why these four threads start and finish randomly each time I run the program? I use Windows, suppose there is a timeslice (i.e. 1 second), these threads have the same priority. Then the threads should start and finish in turn one by one. Am I right?

Why are my Illustrator images getting thicker strokes when I take the bounding box and make them smaller? This has never happened to me. I'm not an expert at Illustrator, but I do know some fundamentals.

I am using a mac - OSX 10.7.5
I have Adobe Creative Suites - CS5 - Illustrator version is 15.0.2
The contents I am placing are all Vector - Illustrator files
But, I wonder about some of the vector files I work with. Could a "line weight/thickness" be 'assigned' to the drawing and screw things up? I used 'simple' linear (line) drawings from SolidWorks that have been converted to ai files. It's just weird because I checked the stroke of the drawing and it's not out of line.
I am attaching part of some box labels. You can see how the drawings, of the products, on the 'left side' are "thick" after embedding them. I think the "Global Logo" was pasted into a template not linked that's why it's okay. But look at the Quiet Thunder logo - it looks terrible. These labels are only 2.25" X 6.5", so its important I keep the images lightweight.

There are no templates in my newly installed LR5, Swdish version for Windows 7. How to get them?

I have uesed LR since LR2, most recently in a purchased upgarde licence for LR5. Having now switched to a new "Windows 7 computer of high performance I had to subscribe to LR5 and PS in the new licencing model. I have thus downloade LR5, the latest version. However, there are no templates in any of the modules, print, web etc.
Why?
How do I get the templates?
I don't mind english, even if teh installed lanuage is swedish.
