Why are new Facebook features not showing up in Safari?

Facebook added some features recently and the are not showing up in Safari. They show up and work fine on every other browser I've tried. I am not using any extensions in Safari.
Anyone else having this issue?

Same problem here, just started yesterday. It's not Safari, it's Facebook. The sooner FB members report this as a bug the sooner a fix.

Do you have Flash installed? Check HD > Library > Internet Plug-Ins
If the Flash Player app is not in the Internet Plug-ins folder, download and install from here.

Inbox shows 1 unread message after opening all the messages.why are new inbox messages not highlighted

I cannot find the unread message despite having opened all my inbox messages and wonder why the new messages are no longer in bold text.

Right click the folder, select properties and then the repair button. A new index might clear it.
If not try
View menu > folders > unread see if Thunderbird can find it since it says it is there after an index rebuild.

New Facebook friends not showing up in contacts.

When I first got my phone I added my Facbook information into the Droid 2 accounts and it added all of my Facebook friends into my contacts on its own. My question is, does the phone automatically add new friends? I added a new friend on Facebook today and its not showing up in the contacts on my phone. I don't see any sync settings for Facebook, just a box for your email and password.

I also noticed that people's pictures are'nt being updated in contacts or social networking droid app.

Why are my desktop fonts are not showing up as an option to use in Muse anymore? I know that my desktop fonts are not web safe and will export as an image... But I would still like to have them as an option. Why did this start with the latest release? I cannot find anything in the preferences or menus to make them show up as an option. I am running OSX 10.9.4 and Muse 2014.0.1.30 CL785017. Please help!!!

Could you please try the following:-
Reboot in safe mode by pressing the SHIFT key (it takes a while) so the OS clears the font cache.
Reboot then in normal mode and the fonts should show properly.

Why are the files in my desktop folder not showing on my desktop?

An add-on can put its icon on the bar automatically if it likes, but some add-ons do one of the following:
* Add an item to the Tools menu
* Add an item to the right-click menu (depending on the context)
* Put a button in the button palette so you can add it to a toolbar if you like (''to call up the button palette, use'' View > Toolbars > Customize ''or right-click a blank area after the address box on the Navigation Toolbar and choose Customize from the pop-up menu'')
Also, you might want to double-check that the add-on is enabled.
Tools > Add-ons > Extensions
If you have the orange Firefox button, it's Firefox > Add-ons > Extensions
Does that help? (If you have problems with a particular extension, you could mention which one it is for more specific comments.)

Why are my gmail calendars not showing up?

The g-mail calendars I have show up on the application I downloaded but they do not show up on the calendar that came pre-loaded on the iphone 4s. I would use the downloaded app more-but I can't get it to work with Siri very well. I think I'm missing something in the settings but can't seem to figure out where I've gone wrong.

I have made calendar entries in the month of May just recently that are not showing on my iPhone. This has not happened in the past. What has changed to make this happen? I must add that the iMac entry is showing on my iPad mini.

Why are MobileMe Sent messages not showing in Mail?

On one Intel iMac, messages sent do not show up on the other Intel iMac, both running Snow Leopard 10.6.7. This just started happening recently. Also, although there are a few thousand messages in the Sent Mailbox in MobileMe,, only 300+ appear in the Sent Mailbox on that first iMac. Rebuilding the mailbox has no effect. Any ideas?

What type of email accounts are they? IMAP or POP.
IMAP leaves messages on the server so you can get them from everywhere.
With POP, messages are downloaded to your client and then removed from the server, depending on your settings.
The iDevice setup for POP doesn't remove them from the server.
I think Mail's default setup for POP is to remove immediately.
If they are POP accounts, you can set Mail's preferences to leave messages on the server for a period of time so that you can retrieve them on multiple clients.

Why are my home screens not showing on Itunes

I've upgraded both my Itunes and also my Iphone today.
When I try to view my home screens in Itunes they are not showing. Instead all I get is a blank screen where the home screen should be.
I have tried resetting my computer to see if this sorted the problem but this has not cured anything.
Suggestions??

I have exactly the same problem. I upgraded i tunes and i phone 4s (to IOS7) and now can no longer see my home screens. I wish I had never upgraded to IOS7, Hopefully Apple will fix this sooner than later

Why do links and forms on the site I am designing not work in mobile safari? They work fine in desktop browsers.
The controls change state when focused, so it's not that they're being blocked, they simply don't activate. Behavior tested and observed on iPad running iOS 6.1.2 and iPhone running iOS 7.0.2.

I had the same problem but I just found a solution. Siri mistakenly suggests to enable reminders (which you should), but the setting that enables all these, is under System Services (on the bottom of the page) -> Location Based Alerts. I had deactivated it alleviate battery problems and had forgotten about it. Hope this helps!

Browsers go to quirks mode when they see a major doctype conflict such as this one.
Secondly, HTML5 Audio is not fully supported/ native in some browsers - especially older ones. You can consider using a 3rd party HTML5 player such as http://mediaelementjs.com/ because they usually have a fallback mechanism to ensure your file works on older browsers.
Another observation: There is no space between 2 attributes in your code.

Should ideally be like this:
<source src="music/Commercial Demo.wav" type="audio/wav"/>
Note the space between src and type.

Why is my facebook widget not showing?

Hello, I'm using the new social wiget to add a facebook follow button to a client's site, but it does not upload to the catalyst site nor can I view it in preview. I have entered the full URL o the client's facebook page to the 'profile url checkbox' and have also tried only using the name extension off the clients facebook page https://www.facebook.com/muufood?ref=br_rs
I see a message "unable to generate thumbnail" in the widget, until I change the url to omit this extension '?ref=br_rs"

I can view the button, in preview mode, but not on our businesscatalyst page http://muu0.businesscatalyst.com/index.html .
I thought it may be the unusual japanese character in the client's facebook name, but when I try with my own facebook page, I can also see it in 'preview' in Muse, but it still does not transfer to the catalyst site...any help appreciated

I tried your link and it seems to be working for "Like" button when you do not use http or https in the URL.
However, for follow button, when you use "https" in the URL it works fine.
I just tried in preview and after Publish and the link https://www.facebook.com/muufood is working fine for me for Follow button.
