Why are questions shown as wrong even though they are selected to be the right questions?
I tested my module after publishing and everything works great except the quiz. When I take the quiz, I get almost all of my answers wrong even though the answers that I select are the right answers chosen before publishing. Is this a bug with Captivate 8 or is there something I'm not doing right? Thanks!
User error. That makes sense now.
Just a tip: Having a Next button as well as a Submit button visible on a quiz slide is asking for trouble. I hide my Next buttons UNDERNEATH the Clear button. That way, they are visible ONLY when the user is Reviewing the quiz. That's about the only time they're actually needed anyway.

In trying to sync my Iphone 4, I noticed that none of my pictures are not my Itunes, even though they've been backed up on the Cloud. My Itunes also states that I'm over my space by .4 GB although my phone says i still have 2.7 GB of space left. you no longer are required to ever hook up your ios device to your computer to extract photos again (you will have to if you want to get videos off of your iphone). Simply connect your computer to the internet at least once a month, and all photostream photos will download into the proper place (outlined in the above links). -
i downloaded the iTunes update to 11.1. Normally I just download one audio boo to my iPhone (5) at one time, this time, even though I had "selected audiobooks" checked and just the one audio book checked, it downloaded all of them. That's taking up almost a gig of space on my 16G phone. Before I realized it was trying to download every book, i deleted about 500 pictures (okay, I really needed to delete them anyway...) along with a bunch of apps I never use, to make room for what I thought was just the one new book I purchased.... is there a fix for this?

This could be done in many ways so it's quite hard to pin point what's going on and how it's done.
The first thing I would do is to reset the the router you have, creating a new password for loging on in case they have gained access this way, then create a new password for the wireless network if you are using it.
Then reinstall your computer, if they/you have installed some software and gotten a Trojan, the only way to get rid of it to 100% is to reinstall. There is no meaning in trying to find it and uninstalling it since it's gotten this far allready.
Depending on what router you have, you might be able to get the logs and see from where they are connecting and trying to pinpoint their location.
There are probably other ways to find out more, but if this happened to me, the first thing I would do is to get rid of the problem, ignoring who they are.

I cant turn off find my ipod so that i can restore it on itunes. I cant turn it off bcause of the multitude of popups asking for my password which i enter correctly but it says it is incorrect.
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

My out going default greeting is in spanish even though i've chosen english in settings. My custom out going greeting is in english followed by a spanish statement. Whats up?
Everything should be current. As far as properties, my import is to "leave files in place". As for Library, I have included 2 pics.
I get that the DCIM could be triggering an issue but at the moment I have all 1TB (100 hours) of videos in and working in FCPX. Although I have had this "copy to library" issue along the way. And those files seem to work fine. As a test I even changed a source file's name and it remained linked to the file in FCP. I also deleted a file and restored it using one of my backup files on a seperate drive with no issue. It seems like it's working with the files just fine but the import is giving me grief.
I was able to import and "keep in place" today by dragging and dropping the folders directly into FCP and it worked this time. Should I worry about anything with all the files I have already brought in from a sd card copy?
Do you think I need to do something different when I copy and import my media in the future? I prefer to use the original MP4s as optimized media takes up twice the space or more.

"Enter the text shown" keeps appearing even though I filled up all of the blanks.
Every time I try making an account on personas , they give me the error : "enter the text shown" but they do not show any text.
I have tried clearing my cookies but it does not help.You cant delete an Apple ID permanently, you can just stop using it. Your GameCenter is linked to the Apple ID that your phone uses to download stuff. So whatever ID is linked to your phone when you download things from th AppStore and iTunes is also the account that is linked to your GameCenter. if you keep switching accounts thats why the random accounts keep popping up, just stick to one and you should be grand.

You haven't provided a lot of information, so it's difficult to know where the problem lies. First of all, make sure you have adjusted the cell size in the Lightroom print module appropriately. Then you need to go to the page setup, which will open your printer driver will you can choose the appropriate paper size and set the print quality. If you have set everything up properly then it should be very straightforward to print a 8 x 10 print.

You can only buy from your own country's store - to be able to buy from another country's store you need a valid billing address in that country and be in that country when buying from it. Q: Why users are not able to see only certain printers even though they are in the Airgroup server table ?
A: In certain scenarios we may notice printers come up under the server /cache entries on the controller.
However when an airgroup user does search for printer, they may not see all the printers, certain printers may be not visible .
This is because the service IDs sent by the user in the MDNS query are not broadcast by these printers
In the below capture the Ipad sends query for service id "_universal_sub_ipp_tcplocal" and "_universal_sub_ipps_tcplocal" and hence the controller will
respond with the printers that broadcasts these service ids.

In order to learn other printers we may need to use specific app provided by printer vendor on the client or configure the printers to send these service IDs.The net 451 issues made it not work after a while but it affected the entire RWW site not just remote access:

Careful if you try and uninstall it, you'll need to put back net 4.0 and reconfigure some stuff.

Why is it that some songs get listed on their own even though they are part of an album?
Why is it that some songs get listed on their own even though they are part of an album? They are always songs that I had on my computer not imported from a cd using iTunes. I have verified that all the info is correct and matches the other songs in the album. Sometimes I can check the "compilation" box on all the songs in the album and that will put them in order and in the same listing. I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.

What I did in this case is select all the songs in the album and select Get Info and see if Album Artist and Album and Sort Artist and Sort Album Artist and Sort Album are the same. -
I have just purchased an Apple Magic Trackpad. I connected it to my Macbook to test it. Fine. But I want to use it with my IMac - and my IMac cannot discover it - even though it is turned on and the batteries are 100%. Why? Can I reconfigure it to the IMac?
Remove it from the Macbook first. BT devices may only be connected to one thing at a time.

Why does Indesign say I have missing fonts even though they are in my packaged document?
I use CS4 on my pc at work, and always package my files, as I have always done on my mac at home, to keep the links and fonts together so that when I send someone a folder, all of the fonts and images work. For some reason, the packaged graphic designs (created on a mac) that are being sent to us from our graphic designer, all of my fonts are lost - even after having purchased the main one that we use - Gotham - to prevent this from happening. This also occurs with any designs that I package and send out to others in our office. I always have to relink the Gotham fonts, and I cannot retrieve the formatting for the fonts that we don't have, even though they are packaged.
We are considering purchasing a mac for me to use in the office, but I'd like to make sure that it is not user error before we proceed.
Any ideas would be wonderful. I never had this problem with my mac at home with packaging, and it has me confused and frustrated at work.
Thanks!Since CS6 is the current release, upgrading to CS5 is a near impossibility, and EVERYONE will need to upgrade in lockstep or you'll be worse off than you are now with users of your newer version creating files that cannot be opened by users of CS4 (and your CS4 packages won't automatically install the fonts in the documents in the later versions without manually changing the names of the packaged fonts folders).
As far as font formats, if you are going to collaborate cross-platform, the font of choice is OpenType, which is 100% cross-platform compatible, and second choice is Windows TrueType which also can be installed on Mac OS X (so, essentially, also cross-platform). Last choice would be to use Windows Type1 which can be installed in the private InDesign Fonts folder in the Mac applications folder and will work in ID, but nowhere else. Any of these would allow everyone to use the same fonts, presuming you all purchase the same versions. Purchasing Windows versions and Mac versions of the same font usually works, but there may be little surprises, and you probbly don't want that. -
Why are clipping adjustments in the basic panel not being saved, updated or shown in the histogram? I am using LR 5.7 on a MAC OSX 10.8 etc.
Here is more information and hopefully a better explanation. My version of
LR-5.7 (OS X 10.8.5) apparently does not save the .NEF (Nikon RAW) edits
done in the basic module. That means that I can correct exposure,
highlights, shadows etc. but once I go to another picture and returned to
the edited one the histogram (on the edited photo) and specifically the
clipping triangles are white or some other color. This is normally suppose
to indicate that some channel or all channels are clipped in the
highlight/shadow areas. If I adjust any slider in the Basic panel even as
little as one +/- value or press the J-key, the histogram will now show the
original edit. Moving on to another photo and then returning to to
previously edited one and again the edits are "not saved" and I have to hit
the J-key or adjust a slider to see the previously edited information
reflected in the histogram.
This is especially frustrating for fours reasons. If I have edited a shoot
and return to it I cannot see from the clipping information whether the
original edit was correct and of course I might re-edit it (to some now
incorrect value). This brings up the second issue synchronization. I can't
rely on it because if I go back to fine tune a specific image in the batch
the triangles are white or some other color for that and every image. I have
to hit the J-key to show/hide clipping or the back slash key to see
before/after previews. This is the third issue which is very time consuming
and inefficient regarding my workflow. The forth issue is that I have
noticed that normally when an image is saved in PS, LR adds a copy of the
saved version to its catalogue. I have noticed that the PS to LR saves are
all wrong in terms of exposure (they are much lighter in tone) than the
original LR edit and the PS edit on my screen. If I check the PS to LR photo
in LR I notice that the Basic panel values have been changed and that I have
to sync the image with the originally edited RAW/NEF LR file to get it to
look the same.
Note 1). I am using an Apple cinema display and a calibrated Eizo ColorEdge
monitor to view my NEF files. I have reverted back to using LR 4 however I
am not sure if I should expect compatibility problems with Camera Raw 7.4 in
LR 4 vs. Camera Raw 8.6 in LR 5.
Note 2.) I am going to do an import converting everything to .dng to see if
this is a work around.
Note 3). I would be interested in knowing if this issue is related to the PS
RAW engine ver. 8.6, the Adobe created NEF calibrations or LR 5.
Note 4). I have duplicated this issue in OS X 10.8.5, OS X 9.xx and OS X
10.10.1
Hopefully someone else has noticed this problem. Any shared information

My iPhone V will not connect to a Microsoft Exchange server. It says that the User Name or Password are incorrect even though they're not and I can log on directly to Exchange with the same parameters using the web browser.
I bought the phone when it came out last October. The connection did not work at first, then started without warning in December. It worked perfectly for 2 months then stopped again when IOS 6.1.2 was Installed.
Help please!I have forwarded these questions about the version of Exchange server that is being used and whether Microsoft host the mai themselves to the IT Dept but I will not get a reply from them until tomorrow.
In the meantime I have also tried:
Deleting and re-creating the account AGAIN!
And re-setting the phone (recommended as a solution to a similar problem with an iPad in another forum.
But please remember that:
The phone would not connect for 2 months after I bought it
Then started working unexpectedly in December
Then stopped working again when IOS 6.1.2. was installed
Also why am I the only person affected by this when colleagues with iPhone 3s and 4s who use the same mail system are not (I am still trying to find one with an iPhone V to see if their's works).
Like I said I think that there must be a fault, either with my own phone or with iPhone Vs in general. -

Not all my songs are showing in itunes even though they are in the itunes Media Dir. I have spent hours trying to find out why so I moved the songs out of the Music/itunes/itunes media and uninstalled itunes. I then restarted my pc and re-installed itunes. When I opened itunes the same songs are still there (but cannot be played as cannot find location) even though I have not put anything back in the itunes media dir. To me there seems to be a refreshing problem as itunes is not looking at the directory even through the advanced preferences area is mapped to the correct area.
Help please.
ThanksApple's official advice on duplicates is here: Find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as lost ratings and playlist membership, or that sometimes the same file can be represented by multiple entries in the library and that deleting one and recycling the file will break the other.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background, this post for detailed instructions, and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed.)
The most recent version of the script can tidy dead links as long as there is at least one live duplicate to merge stats and playlist membership to and should cope sensibly when the same file has been added via multiple paths.
