Why are some of my books in the music category?

I want all my books to appear in the Books category. Yet some of them are in the Music category. How do I move them into Books?

Hi dew8018,
It sounds like you are using Messages on an iPhone and see message text with either a blue or green background.
When you see green text bubble, your iPhone is using SMS/MMS because the other person is not using an iPhone or has not enabled iMessage. When you see a blue text bubble, your iPhone is using iMessage.
How do I know if my message used SMS/MMS or iMessage?
You can tell which type of message you're sending by the color of the Send button and text bubble.
SMS/MMS: Send button and text bubbles are green.
iMessage: Send button and text bubbles are blue.
From:
Send messages with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
You should still be able to send pictures to non-iMessage users. If you're not able to, the steps in the "If you can't send and receive MMS" section of this article are helpful for troubleshooting:

Jeremy

  • HP MediaSmart Playback Error "There are some problems trying to play the music file ..." Why?

The error message pops up for all WAV files.  All the same files play fine with other software.  What is wrong with the HP software?

Winston, you CAN sync without transferring the files to the Apple TV HDD.
That's not correct, although I now understand you.
Select Custom sync and choose not to transfer files.
As I say I realise what you are saying, but it is your library database file that is synced, your music is streamed.
It has worked in the past for me and it still works now, I can see all the albums on the Apple TV in 'My Music' only when I go to play a file: silence. Both on the television and on the stereo.
Have you by any chance turned the volume down on the tv.
And yes, there is a reason to disable sound output via HDMI, because there is no use to have two audio streams outputting at the same time.
Sorry I don't follow your reasoning here. We don't use the DVD player in the car, I haven't considered disabling it though.

  • Why are some songs not available in the U.S. iTunes Store?

There is a song called "The Moment I Knew" by Taylor Swift. I want to get it off of the U.S. iTunes Store, but it's only available as a ringtone, not a song. And the weirdest thing is that the song is available in other countries along with the Deluxe Edition of Red, but in the U.S., Taylor Swift usually releases the bonus tracks as singles. I need to know!!!

It is not currently available in the US Store. So, you won't be able to get it via iTunes. You can purchase the Red Deluxe CDs at Target, which has the song on them.

  • Why are some CA's now issuing SHA2 root certs?

If the signatures in root certs are not used for anything and have no security value since it requires no verification since it already lives in the trust store then why are some CA's now giving the option to sign a root with SHA2?

I figured it had something to do with the SHA1 deprecation policy but I was under the impression that root certs were exempt from the policy. See the link below :
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/pki/archive/2013/11/12/sha1-deprecation-policy.aspx
See Amerks response to Ramo's question:
"The SHA1 deprecation policy does not impact SHA1 root certificates, because Windows relies on other means to validate root certificates besides the signature.  But all root CAs are expected to switch to use SHA2 to sign any subordinate CA certificates,
    CRLs, etc"
While root certs themselves are exempt from this policy, that doesn't mean
that it isn't a good practice from a security perspective to start using
SHA2 for root certs. Since there is a valid reason that SHA1 is being
deprecated it simply makes sense, where possible, to move to SHA2, even if
there is no technological requirement to do so.
Another example of this is that currently, the SHA1 deprecation policy only
applies to certs that chain to a root that participates in Microsoft's
Trusted Root program, however, a lot of my customers are being proactive
and switching their internal PKIs over to SHA2 as well.
Thanks Paul - I suppose I'm just looking for a reason from a vulnerability perspective on why roots need to be signed with SHA2. If they already live in the trusted root store they are trusted by their identity not by the hash function making it irrelevant.
From an attackers perspective, if they had access to the host systems trust store, there's no need to try to forge a root cert in the store they could just replace it with one of their own for the same effect. Although I'm still unclear on what they
    could accomplish by doing this.

  • Why are some items on itunes not available in other countries. like the book world war z by max brooks?

ok so i want to buy max brooks novel WWZ from the uk itunes store. but i cant becuase its only available in the USA..... why is that? why are some things limited to certain countries? im gonna go to the local book store and just buy a (much cheaper) hard back copy anyway, but it genuinely makes zero sense why itunes does this. very frustrating is a understatement as this happens with music and videos also! ......

It's the content providers decision, not Apple - the book publisher, record company, film studio have to grant Apple a license to sell their content in each country. So if the book publisher has only granted Apple a license to sell it in the US store but not the UK store, then Apple can't put in in the UK store.

You're using the forums to spam your site in almost every single thread, and wasting users time.
Have to disagree with you there, Court Kizer. The Bullets&Bones site is, in many ways, where I really learned how to use GarageBand.

  • Why are some of the forums locked?

Why are some of the forums locked?  Could it be because the number of complains for service (the lack of), scams by stores - employees, placating that happens just to make a sale or general MISINFORMATION and a total disregard for their customers would question some of Verizon's tactics?
Morally, ethically and legally questionable actions by employees with little to no accountability sounds about right?
    What say you Verizon Customers?

Could be varied reasons. The thread is outdated, the question was answered, there are off topic attacks, there are personal attacks on forum members, there could be spam posts, or off topic posts, cross posting over and over and the list could go on.
    Hope that answers your question?

  • Why are some of the file folders on my desktop showing up with a shaded color?

Why are some of the folders on my desktop showing up with a different folder color, a dark shad of blue, opposed to the default blue color?
I've searched and searched but all I can find are posts on how to change the color of your folder. I am concerned that maybe, I accidentally shared it or have done something I am not aware of. (Mac Mini, 2.3 i7, 1TB, 16GB RAM running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2)

I don't know how many photos you're trying to post on one page but if you put too many PCs using Internet Explorer may have problems loading the page.  I prefer to keep the number down to less than 50 and have more than one page which will be indicated by the page links at the top of the thumbnails:
These smaller pages will load faster and in more browsers.

sometimes, depending on how the file was compressed, the .zip or .sit files will go into the trash once uncompressed.
are the uncompressed files still in your download location? (desktop, download folder, etc.)
