Why are the Equifax Trusted Roots not included in the latest release?
The Equifax Trusted Roots that were included in Yosemite 10.10.2 are missing from Yosemite 10.10.3. These are still valid trusted roots for GeoTrust and need to be included. Why were they removed?
I'm afraid that I distracted you with my background mention of hierarcharial keywords; I'm not asking about them.
I've entered keywords for several years of using Lightroom. Suddenly, this week, I find that most (yet not all) of them have the attribute of "don't include the keyword in an exported file's metadata." I never intended to ask for that; I thought all keywords will stay with the file and its offspring, and that's what I wanted.
So I'm asking:
1. What did I do "wrong" to induce Lightroom to give the keywords that attribute? I never intended to ask it to.
2. Where does Adobe document how to enter keywords reliably so that they stay with the file on output? I can't find that Adobe does.

I did export the keywords into such a list: most keywords in the plain-text list have square brackets surrounding them, indicating keywords that will be omitted from metadata of any image that Lightroom exports.
My concern is not that the brackets are there. They encode the attribute of "don't include the keyword in an exported file's metadata," and recognizing that attribute concerns me.

Since starting with Lightroom 1, I've entered keywords into either of the two fields between "keyword tags" and "keyword suggestions" in the keywording panel. I was unaware that some keywords are more equal than others, or that Lightroom offered (or has added?) hierarchy support.
I recently stumbled into the news (to me) that Lightroom tags can be organized into a hierarchy, so I exported my keywords to a text file to examine. I hadn't unwittingly created any hierarchies, but an astounding fraction of the keywords were within square brackets. Sure enough, if I export an image, keywords within square brackets are omitted from the output (jpeg) file. How nice. Since I began with Lightroom 1, I've added nearly 1600 keywords.. Too bad most of them are coded wrong... so as not to accompany output that I create.
1. What was I supposed to do, as a photographer beginning to use Lightroom, to enter keywords simply but reliably: what I type is what I get? I'd expected that's what the "just type here" interface would provide.
I especially dislike obtaining erratic results: most keywords are in square brackets, but a few are not. Of course, when I use a simplified interface, I should expect not to have access to some of the options or features. However, I shouldn't inadvertently trigger undocumented behavior.
2. Does the Adobe reference help system say how to enter keywords simply and reliably, in its documentation of the keywording panel? I don't find my answer under the Keywords topic, within Home / Using Photoshop Lightroom 3 / Organizing photos in the catalog.
(I NOW realize that the instructions for the "Create/Edit keyword tags" dialog mention exporting. However, that's not the method I was using.)

When syncing iTunes reports "The iPod “name” cannot be synced. A duplicate file name was specified. ". The music is updated but all the sleeve imagery is not including deleting the existing images. How do I solve please?

It sounds like this error message is preventing you from syncing your content to the iPod. I would recommend the troubleshooting steps in the following article:

Why are all my Apple devices not connecting to the web?
I have an Airport express and has been working fine up until recently. Now none of my Apple devices are connecting to the web. They all find the network no problem and all connect however they will not connect to the internet. The strange thing is that our Windows laptop works fine but absolutly nothing from Apple, this includes a 2011 MacBook pro, iphone 3gs, ipod touch, Apple tv and 2x 2nd gen ipads. I have reset the airport and set up a new network, it worked for one day and is back to how it was. Any advice would be great
I seem to be having a similair issue. I have an AirPort Extreme and my iMac connects fine but now my Kindle and Netflix are unable to connect to the Internet? They see my network but just can't connect to the internet?
I used to have my cable modem connected to a Vonage phone router, which then connected to my Airport. Everything worked fine then. I recently canceled my Vonage service and removed the phone router. Now my cable modem is connected directly to my Airport. Did removing the phone router casue my problem? Do I need to re-set something to get my kindle and Netflix to work again? -
Why are all-day calendar events not appearing in the Notification Center?
I've noticed that all-day Calendar events do not appear in the Notfication Center in iOS. This is a glaring omission and I'm not sure if it's related to a bug or is intentional but it should be fixed right away. Why in the world would you leave out an all-day event from the Notification Center? What if I had a wedding anniversary or some other important event to remember?
IOS / is no out for a couple of weeks and Apple seems to be reluctant to fix this problem. As a business device it becomes rediculous to be not able to see my calender entries anymore in the notification center. Is Apple now leaving the business arena and focusing on toys ?

Why are purchased Audiobooks and Movies not downloadable in the Cloud?
When I took a look at the new Purchased section in iTunes and found that movies and audiobooks were not there. Is there a reason for this or is it Apple launching an incomplete servic?

Movies aren't included because of licensing issues, basically the movie studios haven't agreed to it yet. Don't know much about audiobooks but it may well be a similar thing. -
Why are some of my websites not loading all the way after loading 7.0.1?
I upgraded to 7.0.1... CNN, eBay, webemail, banjohangout.org (modal windows script needs files from widget) and some other websites do not open properly . I am running XP 32. I upgraded Radeon x1600 video drivers upgraded to v. 8.593 (10.2). Troubleshoot in Firefox 7.0.1 says WebGL & GPU blocked...customer needs to upgrade to v. 10.6 or higher. ATI (manufacturer) does not have V.10.6. What now?

Why it is very popular applications like yaourt (GPL), pacman-color (GPL) and many other free programs are not included in the official repositories?
Why not create an official "non-free" repository for popular non-free software?There will never be an AUR helper in the official repositories because it runs counter to the AUR policy - which is: it's unsupported, so we're not facilitating its use. You need to be aware about the potential drawbacks of its usage, which involves getting you, the user, to make that call to install an AUR helper - which involves more than just calling pacman. Can't comment on pacman-colour, but apart from colour, it doesn't really add any functionality afaik .

In Windows 8, Lightroom 5.6. The search/filter function cuts off the top 160+ images. These are NOT included in the search.
Even when there are as little as 6 images it does not include the first 4 images.
I found this when I was searching a particular ISO. It did not show in the metadata search. I knew there were over 60 images at that ISO.
I tried a text search, it did not work either. The top 160+ images were left out.
Also it renumbered the images. My image number was #163 but Lightroom said it was #1.
In Windows 7 Enterprise, Lightroom 5.6 worked perfectly.We'll need more detail to figure out what's going on. While we could play twenty questions, the most efficient way to troubleshoot this is to start out by posting a full-resolution screen shot of your LR window.

You can recover Your music but not with original names.
1. Go to Your iPod hard disk
2. You must to see hidden files (if you don't see them go to in system explorer to Tools > Folder Options > View > and mark Show Hidden Files)
3. Go to folder named iPod_Control
4. Copy folder Music - this is Your music but not with originally names

Hi everyone,
A Business One server was virtualize, after finished the process the server was working properly.
I add an user and check the professional license. Next day I got this error "This for is not included in the software package you have purchased" also the rest of the users has restrictions like a CRM license and the error message. They cannot see all the components of the application.
Nevertheless on the same server I have another company that do not has any error, the users can log in and they can see everything depending on their authorizations they do not got any error message.
What could happened , is something with the license profile or could be the authorization of the users ??
Hope any of you can he p me with this. I have print screens if any needs them.

You are not assign any license to that particular User, that why this error is comming.
Before you can assign a license to a user, you must first import the license file.
As Superuser go to Administration > License > License Administration.
In the window that appears, press "Import License File" and choose the appropriate license file.
Go to Main Menu -> License->License Administration->you assign the professional licenses to to the users [or Particular User].
