Why are the text and graphic elements are not showing on the iPad

I have a slideshow of pictures full bleed on my inDesign document with text and graphics on top of the pictures (not part of the slideshow).
When I preview on the iPad all I can see is the gallery of images?
Is it not possible to put text on top of a slideshow?
Here it is as it appears on InDesign...
...and here as it appears on the iPad...
Any ideas? I'm pretty new at this, but I couldnt find anything in the forums

They're called overlays for a reason. You'll need to change the text to an MSO as well.
Select it, create a new MSO, set it to play once no delay, no crossfade.
Other choice would be to put the text into each state of the MSO.

Why won't text and graphics line up in adobe premiere?

Hey, I have been out of the editing thing for about 8 years now. I recently needed to make a video for another business I run.
Anway, I am using animated / still graphics and the basic text titles that come with premiere. I see that the graphics line up correctly behind the text in the Previews Folder. When I render it, the text has shifted down completely. Also, the text and graphics look horrible after it's rendered, very pixelated. I used to be a pro at this stuff and in fact, I would use flash to import my animated graphics. But it seems that doesn't work anymore either. (That would probably solve this problem too). Anyone know why this is taking place in the final render??
I would much rather you ask the questions before i post all sorts of unnecessary info.

1. not sure what you mean by "preset". The project settings are:
General -
Capture - DV 1394 -
Video Sequence -
Default Sequence -
2. The dimensions of the stills are 2000x2000, *.png
3.Titles - I do not align them here, I align them in the effects controls
4. Screen Cap
5. Export settings
6. That article is nice, but not what I'm needing. remember, the preview clips shows everything perfectly lined up. but the final export shows all the text being shifted down.

HP Photo Creations - where's the text and graphics tabs?

I downloaded V 3.5 HOwever I can't seem to find the tabs for text, graphics, etc. All I can find is touchup, crop, red eye, and one or two others. But where is the text and graphics, and the other cool ones.? I'm sure I downloaded 3.5.

Hi Melodee.
The additional editing tools appear with collage projects. When you choose basic prints, you'll see only the touchup tools (crop, image adjustments, red-eye, airbrush, tint).
In other words, to add text, borders, and graphics, choose Collage Prints instead of Prints. This link will take you there:

There are quite a few cool effects in the touchup section, though.
Under Image Adjustments, click Advanced Controls at the bottom of the screen to try the Posterize effect.
Under Airbrush Effects, try the Rub Through, Blur, and Monochrome brushes.
Rub Through loads a photo in the background that's slowly revealed as you paint over the original photo. Blur is good for toning down distracting elements in your picture, making a snapshot look like a photo taken with a fancy lens. The photo below uses both those plus the Monochrome Brush.

While not in edit mode:
- if start typing numbers, then it enters number mode.
- if start typing text, then it enters text mode.
Using the arrow keys exits edit mode. So this should work for you:
1 Type text into a cell, which enters text mode.
2 Press Return to move to the next cell.
3 Press right arrow key to exit edit mode.
4 Press left arrow key to get back to the cell.
5 Type a number, which enters number mode.
Another method that requires more planning ahead of time is to format the cells as text or number before starting the data entry. Then when you navigate to a cell while in edit mode, you will be in the appropriate mode (without having to exit edit mode).
This all works fine for me. Hopefullly it does for you also.

I recently just downloaded the 'Waze' app as a backup for my Garmin. I've read a few reviews that seem to rant and rave about how good the GPS app is. It is community driven and maps are constantly being updated by users. Plus it has a few other fun stuff in it (something similar to Gasbuddy where you can owe prices on the map). But like the person above me said, there is lots of useful free GPS apps in the App Store.
Oh and I may be wrong but I remember reading an article about Google being slower about updating its maps system--ie no turn by turn voice, which many people have had complaints about.

Based on my understanding, you publish a report on the report server. When you access reports with internal application, the report doesn’t display, right?
In your scenario, since you mentioned you have published the report to report server, please go to report manager, check if you can see the published report and open the report properly. If the published report is displayed on report manager, it should not
be the issue in Reporting Services. In this scenario, since the MAMA application has established connection with on report server, it may not update items on report server after you publish your report onto report server. So please try to “refresh” in MAMA
or reconnect the report server. If issue persists, I suggest you contact the MAMA application vendor to get some more effective advices.

Both the Texts and Graphics When I open windows are too large and blurry. Is this anyway I could fix this?

When I open Firefox (Firefox is updated to its latest version) both the text and the graphics are too large. I've tried zooming in and out features, but the texts become unreadable.

CTRL+0 (<--that is a zero) will reset your zoom level on affected pages. Firefox remembers the zoom level you last used on a page.<br />

Songs are syncing to phone but some songs not showing in the playlist, you have to manually search for them...

All music is syncing across from my purchased items to my phone... However, some are missing from the 'purchased' playlist and I can only come across them when scrolling through the 'Artist' or 'Song' menu. I then have to manually add them back to my purchased playlist.
Is there any way to stop this?
I want all my 'purchased' songs in that playlist and then have all of my other music from CDs in their individual ones (which works fine).
This happens for about 5/6 every time and it's a nightmare trying to work out which ones are missing so to speak unless I stumble upon then.
So basically, the songs ARE on the phone but not showing in the playlist, just to make that clear.

This sounds very similar to an issue that I experienced. There was a phantom 6G assigned to movies even when no movies were on my iPad. I could make the phantom 6G come and go by checking/unchecking the "Sync Movies" box in iTunes.
First, try a system reset. It probably won't fix your problem but it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
There is one other thing that you can try but I don't want to describe it unless the above doesn't help.

Text and graphic highlights are "ugly"

Whenever a text button or a custom button is highlighted, the highlight has white on the edges. I cannot get any combination of overlay mask or custom button with built in highlight to look properly. Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi:
I think the problem is not in your overlay files but in your DVDSP workflow. I used to get that bad edges till I started using the Advanced Color mode (... some time ago!).
Your overlay shapes have for sure some atialias that makes some pixels not complete black in borders. Then you get jagged edges because DVDSP cannot use that "gray" pixels. . . because they are not "black".
Select your button in DVDSP and in the Inspector go to the Colors tab and select Advanced as color mode. Suppose you are using yellow as your selected color. Choose Selected in the Selected State option and you'll see 4 color sliders to choose different colors for black, dark gray, light gray and white in your overlay.
Now select Yellow full scale for the black slider (15); select 10 for the dark gray slider; 5 for the light gray slider and leave 0 the white one.
This way DVDSP will use the antialias pixels in your overlay and will use different yellow grades when showing it.
Give it a try.

My 12 in Powerbook fell from its stand on the wireless keyboard. Now all images are ghosted and the text has gone from black to white and the background has gone from white to black. On startup everything is fine until everything is loaded, then the changes kick in, colors reverse, and the images become ghosted. What do I do?

It might be possible that the "Switch to white on black" setting in Universal Access has been activated.

Why are recently added and recently played playlists not showing on iphone 4s when they show in iTunes?

In my iTunes window, the playlists for my iphone 4s when it is connected show correctly. The playlists include 'top 25 most played songs', 'recently played', and 'recently added'. Although they appear in iTunes even after syncing, they do not show on my iPhone and I can not use them (they aren't there). But they continue to show in the iTunes list for the device. This is frustrating because I often like to play my recently added list or top 25. How do I fix this?
