Why are videos using space on my phone when there are no videos on my phone?

When I sync my phone is shows that quite a bit of space is being used by video, but there shouldn't be any videos. How do I free up that space that is supposedly being used by "video". Thanks.

If your iPhone is a 8GB model, then you are literally worrying about 0.000046% of the device's total space.
Or, to look at it another way, an 8GB iPhone has 8,388,608 kilobytes of total space. Are you really concerned about less than 4 KB out of 8.3 Million?
Or... Let's say that you had $83,886.08 in your bank account. Would you worry about trying to find the nickel that rolled under the fridge?

Most likely because Essbase is creating an implicit share relationship between the two members, which is causing the association tab to be grayed out. Why does undo table space got full even when i commit between inserts??

Dears,
I have stored procedure which inserts around 5million record(insert select not applicable); and it always fails because of "ORA-30036: unable to extend segment by 8 in undo tablespace" although the procedure commits after every 10,000 records and the undo table space is 2GB. so my question is why does undo table space got full even if i commit?? & do i have other solution than making the undo auto extend??

Actually, i had the same problem that my UNDO tablespace starting eating too much space, my undo_retention is set as 3hours, but how can estimate it using the view.
Here the following sample output
SID     STATISTIC#     VALUE

3     153     0
Can anyone assist with it ? But i still have the strange feeling why would UNDO get full once commit is being used. Even i did try with AUTOEXTEND and it throw me the errors that can't extend UNDO tablespace.
Any ideas.....

Why Am I Getting The "Insufficient Space On Device" Message When There's More Than Enough Space?

I have the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE (ICS/4.0). It has 3.63 GB phone storage remaining, and the sd card has 7.35 GB remaining. Forget the sd card. How can my phone, or any phone for that matter, get the error message of "insufficient space on device" when there's more than enough space on the device? Thank you in advance.

Turn off your phone.
Hold power - and volume up I believe It might be down.
From there you can select recovery and then hold vilume up and tap power to open the menu.
There should be an option there to clear system cache.

1.For your case ,you have to create a separate REM profile in SPRO.
2.While creating the REM profile in control data 1,check for the
settings create cumulated post processing record.
3.Using MF47,we will be checking the errors happened for the materials,then
according to the stock this list will be cleared.
4.Individual daywise record can also be obtained if u include the tick mark against
the check box for Also create Individual Post Processing Records.
5.Then in that case it will be easy for you to trace the errors that happened on
daywise for which material.
6.Dont forget to assign the same REM profile to your header material

Why do I not receive iCloud e-mails when there is a specific group of "To:" addresses in the body of an e-mail

I noticed this when I started my iCloud e-mail account a few months ago. I am not receiving iCloud e-mails when there is a specific group of "To:" addresses in the body of an e-mail. I can receive the e-mail on my outlook & local cable providor e-mail accounts with all of the addresses listed. If I strip out the "To:" addresses and send it from my local cable providor e-mail account to my iCloud e-mail account than I will receive the e-mail in my iCloud account (minus all of the "To:" addresses that are in the body of the e-mail. This has caused me to miss a lot of e-mails.
Following is one of the e-mail that I can send from my cable providor account and not receive it in iCloud. If I strip out all of the "To:" addresses I will receive it in iCloud. I have a case open with Apple but it is not going anywhere. This occurs from multiple sending internet service providors (ISP's) so I think it's an Apple iCloud e-mail processing issue.

I've been having a very similar problem to what ziemsen describes, for about a week now. The Mail app has stopped delivering new messages to the Inbox, even though I can view the newly incoming messages on the server via Webmail. I am able to send email through Mail with this email account, and as for the other email accounts that I have on Mail (which are also hosted by the same server), I am able to both receive and send email with no problem.
None of the mail settings have been changed, so how this happened all of a sudden is very puzzling. I have checked Account Info on the problem account - Mail recognizes that there are messages that are on the server yet to be downloaded, but it won't download them.
I've checked what other users have suggested here in the Discussions Forum, and tried: 1) deleting the problem Mail account from Mail and re-adding it; 2) creating a new machine User account and setting up Mail with that User; 3) setting up Mail on another machine; 4) archiving and re-installing OS, and even 5) wiping the HD entirely and reinstalling the OS. None of these have worked.
Ernie, your suggestion of deleting the MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded file sounded like the solution to the problem, so I just tried it - but to no avail. Mail delivers messages that are on the server to my Inbox up until the same point that it always stops at, and there are almost 1000 new messages since then.
I am pretty lost at this point - I have no idea what else I can possibly do to resolve this problem. The strange thing is, when I tested my email accounts on Microsoft Entourage and Mozilla Thunderbird, they don't have this problem - both deliver all of my incoming mail. I may have no choice but to switch to one or the other at this point, but I'm attached to Mail and would really like to continue using it if I can. Any advice would be much much appreciated.

Photo's moved to Mac BUT still using space on i-Phone 5

Hi,
I am new to the forum and newish to Mac's but have had i-Phones for a while.
I regularly sinc my i-Phone to my Mac and move photo's to iPhoto and delete from phone when done. This moves them from my camera roll and puts them in my photos on my phone.
The issue I have is that it does not appear to reduce the space used and also I am not able to delete again from the phone thus removing them completly nor do I want to move them off my Mac as love having a slide show of all my favorite pics.
Please help I have trolled the internet for hours trying to find a workaround solution.

Importing photos and videos from the iPhone's Camera Roll and syncing the iPhone with iTunes to transfer selected photos from your computer to your iPhone are completely separate processes.
If you chose to delete all photos from your iPhone's Camera Roll after the import process is complete and you follow this by transferring the recently imported photos from your computer back to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process, you aren't freeing up any storage space on your iPhone, or very little.
If you have a Mac, what is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?
That is where you choose to transfer photos from your computer's hard drive to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process, and that is also where you deselect the photos that you want removed from your iPhone followed by a sync.
The iTunes sync process in regards to photos on your computer's hard drive that are transferred to your iPhone and removed from your iPhone does not touch, remove, or replace any of the photos on your computer's hard drive.

Why does Lightroom append "-2" to file names when there are no duplicates.

I have been using Lightroom since V. 1. I have noticed that many of my file names have been renamed in LR (now V5.3) by changing the filename from "XXX_yyyy.NEF" to "XXX_yyyy-2.NEF". IF I look in the folder where the images are stored, both versions of the file are there. I went into LR and deleted the "-2" version and re-imported the original files. In some cases this worked and the LR file now has the original name. In some other cases, LR re-named on import and appended the "-2" to the filename. I checked and it turned out there were other files with the same name on the disk and in the LR catalogue, so I understand why these files were renamed. In other cases, however, there is no other file in LR with the same name. Yet, when I try to delete the "-2" file in LR and re-import the original file (as I did earlier), LR again renames my file by appending the "-2" suffix to the filename. It does not copy the file, it actually renames the file in the folder where it is stored. I cannot understand why the filename is being changed in this case.
Can anyon tell me why LR is doing this and how can I prevent it?
I am runing LR under 64-bit Win 7 with 12 GB RAM, the problem seems to have occurred primarily with Nikon D200 RAW (.NEF) files.

Somebody else may be better qualified to answer - I never figured out exactly what causes it. Two ideas I have though (take with salt / refer to initial disclaimers...):
* Export all photos into a new catalog (it's possible it'll leave the offending / problem-causing junk behind - dunno).
* Use SQL to hack your catalog - look for clues in "Import Hash" column of 'AgLibraryFile' table (and if you see problem - fix it...).
* Try deleting .agprefs file (in with your presets, 'Preferences' subfolder). Not sure if this has anything to do with it - I don't think so.

To update apps you have to sign nto the account that purchased the apps. If the iPod has apps frm more than one accont that need updating you have to update them one by one until the remaining were purchased from one account.

Why the graph in Labview does not plot when there is a different set of data collected

Actually, what I am trying to do with the labview program is that I will be collecting data of different days and use them to plot graphs according to the date that i have set in my program. However, my graph fails to plot whenever there is a change in date, it remains at the first graph that is being plot at the start of the program. I have tried to look through the whole process and found out that actually the execution of my graph in the program is not completed which might cause this program. Therefore, I hope that you guys can help by taking looking through my program which has been attached and tell me the solutions if any! I really appreciate your help! "Not enough space for photos" alert when there is enough space

Hello,
I have a 2nd Gen iPod nano with 4GB, it's about 1.5 years old and till now I could always solve any problems I've had with it, but now it seems my problem hasn't occurred to anyone else ever...
Putting photos on my iPod has worked fine since I did it for the first time a year ago, but I took all photos off again pretty soon. Now I tried to put some on the iPod again, but it won't work. I get the following pop up alert:
"No photos were copied to the iPod because there is not enough free space on the iPod to hold your photos and albums."
I've cleared more and more space until I had 20 MB free. The photos I tried to sync had a size of about 380 KB all together. And still iTunes pretends there wasn't enough space. In the Features Guide it said that only so much space is necessary as the photos themselves will use up. Why won't iTunes sync the selected folder?
Anyone else has had and solved this problem? Please help.

I've seen this issue before, and it appears to be a quirk on the iPod software.
That 20MB you cleared is still not enough to sync your photos even though the photos use up less space than that.
You need to clear even more space on your iPod before you can sync these photos. Try clearing small amounts at a time until the photos sync.
I've never seen a plausible explanation why the nano behaves this way.

Why does my printer say out of paper when there is a full stack?

When I try to print from my printer it will say "Out of Paper" even though there is a full stack of paper in the printer. I tried lowering the stack to see if that would work and it didnt. How do I fix this problem?

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? (There are a number of Photosmart Premium models).

Why does my television picture distort so much when there is a flash, or an explosion?

The picture I get on my Sony Bravia 1080p television is normally gorgeous. But whenever I'm watching a movie, or television show, and there is a flash, or an explosion, the television picture is terrible. There's awful pixilation and banding all over the screen. I never see this when I'm watching a Blu Ray, so what gives?

It sounds like a TV problem to me. Since the Blu-Ray works, it could be a TV input or cable.
Try connecting your STB to a different TV input.
Try connecting your STB with a different cable.
Reverse the STB & Blu-Ray inputs and see what happens.
If you still have a problem, try connecting that STB to another TV.
That should tell you whether or not you have a TV problem, cable problem or the STB is bad. If it is the STB contact customer support.

Used Space is much higher than actual space used in the partition

I am facing space problem in oracle Linux 5.3.
The parition /oradata is showing Used space as 379 GB when checked with df -TH command and when i go to partition and check space with du -sh command it is showing 280 GB.
How could i reclaim the space.

What is your output of df -h?
-H uses powers of 1000, not 1024. Computer memory uses binary logic based on the power of 2 (2^10 = 1024, 8 * 8 * 8 * 2 = 1024)
Anyway, df and du measure different things:
"du" reports the space used by files and folders
"df" reports the space used by the file system, which includes the overhead for journals and inode tables.
If a file is open by a user and the same file is deleted then df and du will report different output.
A reboot of the system should align df and du output more closely.

Thanks for responding to my query. I.ve already done as you suggested. The thing is in a test, which included the same email to my daughter ,where we asked the Australian recipient to type the return address - My daughter received the answer - but I did not. I'm thinking is there something I need to untick on my Mac? At first I thought it was because the computer in Australia wasn't a Mac - but as I say my daughter has the same model as me and she is receiving the reply's Any more thoughts?
