Chances are you mis-typed a character in the Wifi password and the devices saved that information. Now whenever you try to connect the device refers to the wrong password and the Jetpack does not accept your connection. Tell your devices to forget the wireless connection and start over.
Once you enter the proper WiFi credentials the Jetpack will allow you to connect.

It can't be a problem with my ISP or my IP address since it only happens with Firefox. When I try out the same listings with other browsers it doesn't happen. eBay said Firefox must be making it seem as though I am in France. Goodness knows how or why??

I've just started using the App Tabs. I think this feature could be handy but why are the sites not updated when I start Firefox. Now I have to manually update the site which is somewhat of a downer. Does any of you know where I'm going wrong?

To answer the post title FireFox save all downloads automatically in the download folder, which you can find in the Documents folder. If you want to choose where to save your downloads go to tools>options>check always ask me where to save files.
Secondly, I am assuming you have IE 8 installed as this is the only version that supports this fix that is currently not in beta. Go to control panel>internet options>advanced tab and reset the settings at the bottom. This may or may not fix the problem but it is a good first step.

Why are web images not loaded on Safari?

In many cases, as I open my Safari browser most web sites are not showing any image or picture. This happens for example for:
- Google MAPS
- airbnb.com
I have tried many times to empty cache and restart Safari, but it does't work at all. The same behaviour happens on Chrome browser.
I've got a MacBook Air 11' (End 2010) with OS X Lion. Even with Leopard I had the same issue.

Could this be a Flash issue. Is Flash installed on your machine?
I believe the Air does not come with Flash installed so you have to install it yourself.

Web site took over Safari

I was surfing on my iMac w/ Lion, Safari 5.1, when I clicked on what I thought I wanted, it suddenly redirected my page to somewhere else. Now I can not get rid of the page and it wants me to click on another link to continue. I clicked quit Safari, but had to go to "force quit" to get it to shut down and if I try to get back online it goes back to that same page. I even restarted my iMac and it still goes back to that same page. With that page open I can not access "file" or change the web address by over typing. I got it. I went to Applications > Safari > then I picked something in the list that had the Safari icon. I used it to open Safari, it took me two tries, from there I had a few seconds to click on preferences, before the other web site took over again, and in preferences I unchecked everything under Security > Web content > enable plug-ins, enable java, enable JavaScrip, but I left block pop-ups. Doing this disabled the page and I was able to close it without clicking on anything else. Once I got it to close I went to Apple.com, closed and then quit Safari and when I reopened it, it opened to Apple.com where I was able to go into my History and delete the web page. Thank you for trying to help, but I do not click on anything I do not have control over.

I also use google alot for my web browser. not all but most pages i access have some parts of the page either compressed / cut off / overlapping.

Why are web browsers not controlled by restrictions?

When you turn off Safari in restrictions it apparently doesn't really matter since most apps have built in web browsers (really, as I understand it they are calling mobile safari) but why doesn't Apple just have that restricted when Safari the "app" is turned off? It makes it silly to even allow Safari to be turned off if it isn't a system wide event. I can't see this as a major problem to remedy since I assume most app developers are calling a specific API, so just have that API restricted so parental controls actually work.
For instance if you turn on restrictions but have Evernote installed (or Twitter, or just about any other app) there is usually a way to get to a web page via the about screens because they include mobile safari. I understand not off loading these things to Safari (well in Twitter's case, Evernote's was a bit sloppy) but again this should be controlled inside restrictions via turning off mobile Safari.

Listing of web sites blocked by BT

Hi all,
Does anyone know of the existence of a list of sites that BT actively block at the exchange? I have raised this question with the customer service department and was told that the issue would be dealt with. I have heard nothing since.
Why do I want such a list? Simply to make an informed decision as to which service provider to use; which provider sees the internet as a free and open resource.

Can you get this for me please? I don't want to have to FOI it, but I will if I continue to be stonewalled by BT representatives.

Hmm. I'm sure that such a thing would be kept as low profile as is possible, but there are issues of informed consent and the ability of a customer to make an informed choice as to how they spend their money. As an example of the issue consider this: if it is not possible to know what sites are being blocked then it is not possible to identify obstructive censorship.
Now I'm not suggesting that covert and widespread censorship is occurring, merely that it is currently impossible to determine if such actions are taking place: transparency is an issue.

Why are there white blocks on my website?

I have been creating a site for an aviation thing, and after I got the site ready and uploaded onto the hosting, white blocks are near the slices. Any ideas? In dreamweaver, it shows up perfectly fine.

Your link takes me to a BC login page, but from your post it's likely that you have committed the first deadly sin of web development: using a graphics application to create your HTML. Your symptoms perfectly match what is expected to happen when you take a cumbersome table layout that is only intended for use in controlled demonstrations or presentations, and try to use it on the web. What is happening is that your table with its many colspans and rowspans (merged and split cells) is not able to respond properly to different browsers and different viewport widths and different character face sizes. One should use graphic apps to make graphics, and use DW to build your HTML. Here are some informative and interesting articles about this -

How to control pop ups on a per web site basis using Safari 7.0.1?

rMacbook Pro late 2013 maxed out with the 512gb SSD.... 16gb ram, nVidia GT750m, SuperDrive, and Lacie external 1Tb Rugged Thunderbolt/USB 3.0 for Time Machine and 300GB for DATA out of it.
Having been a windows user all my life I am generally real real pleased with this notebook. actually spoiled for first my first notebook after years of big money custom built desktops from Falcon Northwest and Puget Systems. For using my Nikon D800 they rock other than that these Haswell rMacbook Pro work for me
Have to use bootcamp and windows 7 64 bit professional for 2 pieces of software That are needed if one wants to continue a life long job with GM.
So we take updates, tests, webcasts, etc. and I prefer to do those tasks on the Mavericks 10.9.1 side but find on Safari 7.0.1 you cannot control popups on a per website basis. On wondows I use IE 10 which I like and always have and while open to exploits safe computing practices can keep that under control.
So as I learn Apple and all its software I was hoping there may be an extension or app that will give user control of popups a little better than the default of either all on or all off? Does anyone one know of one? Google wasn't much help maybe I used incorrect search term but I doubt it.

There are some Safari extensions that can block JavaScript by domain, but you'll have to search for them.

What are web sites like without Adobe Flash?

I'm new to the tablet world and am considering buying an iPad, but I understand that Adobe Flash will not be enabled when I browse on web pages. Can folks tell me how they've dealt with this, what are the consequences, etc. There must be articles about this? Thanks.

Here is a results of a browser functionality test on Firefox on my MacBook Pro verses a iPad 2 and others.
And to add insult to injury, Safari on a Mac is about 2x times better than Firefox on a Mac.
But Firefox on Windows is #1 and Safari on Windows is dead last, behind IE!
Strangeness is everywhere.
