Why are websites requiring Flash player?
With HTML5, I expected fewer websites to be requiring Flash player. Now more YouTube videos are requiring Flash, as well as post-mainstream media websites like MSNBC. Are they TRYING to turn the earth backwards, or what?
I'm getting ready to launch an HTML-based 'application' service, and I also think HTML5 fluency is probably an important tool in any developer's future. I'm having a little trouble getting my developer skills to work in conjunction with a website, and to do so securely. But I understand that browsers will soon (some sort of time unit) have a secure space for serving applications. ('Secure' in the sense that javascript is a 'secure' space for a web-server to receive user-defined variables).

Flash is not, and probably never will be, supported on the iPad : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/ . Plus it would be up to Adobe to make a version of their flash player that works on iOS devices - something which they have never managed to do and which they have now given up on trying to do.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, so you could try checking there for your sites (and there is the built-in YouTube app for that site). -

When trying to launch/play chess from the yahoo games website, I get the following message: "Yahoo! Chess requires Flash Player 7 or later and JavaScript enabled in your browser''. I have verified that I do have Flash Player 10 installed and that JavaScript is enabled. I'm able to launch/play chess from Yahoo Games when I use IE as my browser.
You either do not have Flash installed for Firefox or it is disabled.

I'm having trouble visiting sites or pages that require Flash Player, Firefox will just freeze when they're partially loaded and it will stay frozen until I close Firefox. This will happen with any page that uses flash player. I can disable it, but then I can't access the content which requires Flash Player, have to use a different browser and I'd rather just use Firefox.

Why do programs say flash player not installed when it is?

However, having HACMP installed would be a good idea. I heard many problem, earliy release of 10g, aboug just using CRS instead of other clustered services.
Well, we are using SHARQ d240 storage, but, didn't required any raw partition, and also not using ASM. Basically, we are in a testing mode.

Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.

Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.

Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that." -
A site that worked on your old version doesn't work anymore. When I go to the page it says to download a plugin, but then it comes up with "no suitable plugins were found." I believe the site requires flash player. I have reinstalled it and it works with other programs that require it.
I wasn't able to get to any of those sites without having serious hanging issues. I just uninstalled Flash, rebooted, then reinstalled it. Everything seems to be working fine now.

Hi Turns out flash CC is not supported in google clickTag. I need to install the previous version of flash being CS6. Flash CC will not allow you to publish to previous versions as 10.3 is the lowest it goes. Will this feature be added to flash CC. M
