Why are you calling this the most customizable version when you've taken away customization options?
I used to be able to move the back, forward, refresh, and stop (and make them separate buttons as well). With this version, they're immovable, and you're some how saying this is more customizable.
For the first time, starting in Firefox 29, the menu is customizable, and there is a right-click option to easily move items between the menu and the main navigation toolbar. But you are correct that some previously detachable parts of the address bar are no longer detachable, and the tab bar can't be moved below the navigation toolbar through the customize feature.
I don't know how to score that mix of gains and losses, but really, this support forum is aimed at making the current release of Firefox work for you. Did you find a solution, such as the [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ Classic Theme Restorer extension], or are you still in search of one?

Why can I not get the most updated version of a web page? I have cleared cookies and history.
I am trying to access our soccer club website and was informed by the club president that the website was updated, however, when I try to open it, I get the old version with last year's information. I have cleared cookies and history. Any ideas?
Have you tried a different web browser, if you have one, to see if the site loads correctly?
You could choose to run Safari, Firefox, SeaMonkey, or maybe another (avoid chrome)
and have a few options in how some pages load, or be able to choose if some sites
prefer a different browser. My macs all have at least three browsers. Some are dedicated.
PS: did they confirm the site is still using the same URL web address?
Hopefully you can get the sites you need to visit, to work.

Running Firefox 3.6.3 on my aging machine, I got a dialog telling me that I should upgrade. I did. When the update was complete, and the application restarted, I was running Firefox 3.6.24, and shown a page saying:
“Thanks for downloading Firefox, but this version is out of date. Unfortunately your computer's operating system isn't compatible with the most current Firefox learn more, but you are encouraged to download the most recent version that is compatible instead.”
Clicking the link to the “most recent version” took me to a page which said:
“Firefox 3.6.x will be maintained with security and stability updates for a short amount of time. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox.”
There was no other suggested version linked to that page, and the latest version of Firefox is, of course, NOT compatible with my machine.
Mozilla is confusing me here. Why did Firefox drop back within v. 3.6.x from the version I was already running? Why does the site suggest upgrading to an apparently non-existent “latest compatible version” without providing a link to its suggestion?Other browsers that you can look at:

I have like 12 differerent wen sites that I manage, very simple made, but working, thats why I like iweb cos it´s simple and it works.
I have now finnaly taken the step away for PC laptop also, so I went buying a brand new macbook pro weith Lion the other day.
Wanted to work on the websites while and travelling, so I copied all the domain info from myc stationary mac to a USB, ready to put into my new friend..

No iweb in the programs..
So there goes that plan into pieces... How to I fix that case? Buying an old ilife and try to intall it?

That will work. The latest version of iWeb does run on Lion (with a couple of quirks).
But be aware that iWeb is clearly a dead end; fixes/updates/improvements are highly unlikely, and it may quit working with new versions of OSX (possibly even future updates to Lion).
If you're using MobileMe as a host, that will stop in June of 2011, so you'll have to move your site elsewhere. You can still use iWeb with it; a few changes are required on the Site Publishing Settings page, of course, but they're pretty simple. And a few features won't work, but there are workarounds for them.
I recently moved my iWeb site from MobileMe to GoDaddy, and it was relatively painless.

Error : The version of Adobe Flash you are attempting to install is not the most current version
1. I was upgrading from Adobe CS5 and based on Adobe's own recommendations I uninstalled all Adobe products prior to installing Adobe Creative Suite. This included not only Adobe CS5 but ALSO FLASH v16.
2. After uninstalling all Adobe products (including Flash 16) I rebooted the computer and installed the latest build generated for Adobe Create Suite.
3. After installing Adobe Create Suite I attempted to reinstall Flash but it will not let me install it.
4. The error received is "The version of Adobe Flash you are attempting to install is not the most current version".
5. Flash is NOT installed and when running the "Is Flash Present" test from Adobe's site the answer is NO.

I have multiple snapshots of this one. I am trying to install Adobe Flash Player on a Windows7 64bit machine from adobe.com. I keep getting the following error:
The version of Adobe Flash Player ActiveX that you are trying to install is not the most current version. Please visit (adobewebsite) to obtain the latest, most secure version.
This is the message that I am getting from Adobe.com website!
I tried uninstalling multiple times + reinstalling, same error. I tried offline installing, same error (is not the most current version).

If you decide to Uninstall and Install again, I would use the "executable" which you can download to your Desktop.
Have you previously installed any beta version? I'm sure you know you need to use the 32bit browser since Flash Player
is not supported on the 64bit.
The Anti-Virus/Firewall, Security Settings for IE, Permission requirement are important. Also the necessity of Rebooting twice after the Uninstall for IE, to make sure old files are removed.

If you were browsing the Internet (While visitting the hxxp://xtrastudio<i></i>.com link), then that website was infected and not a Firefox problem. I would advise you to not visit the website again though, unless they manage to fix the infection as the antivirus managed to block it now, but it might not be able to the next time.
If it happened during the "Firefox is updating" window when you tried to start Firefox, then it pretty serious.

Is there any legitimate way to download a previous version of an app (if you already purchased it)? Or is any download of an app on iTunes always going to be the most recent version?
So if it is an app no longer available in the app store, and you download it (since you already purchased it), the version you download will be the most recent version before it was removed and not the version you downloaded right?

Everyone I spoke to felt the same way.
So I tried Google's '''Chrome'''. It was just as bad. It looked almost exactly the same, and had everything I ''didn't'' like about '''Firefox 4'''. Finally, I hunted down an installer for '''Firefox 3.6''' and reverted back to it. It was simply the superior browser. Once again, I could be happy. Even though I had lost my saved passwords, bookmarks, and other add ons; and had to work hard to get things back to how I'd had them it was worth it.
I must not have been the only one to feel this way, because '''Firefox 4''' seems to have been amazingly short lived. Now you have out '''Firefox 5''', and yet nothing has changed. From what I can tell, it is still the same poorly designed browser that I hated in version 4, just given a new number. Honestly, even calling it a new version seems dishonest.
I have to ask why.
Why are you trying so hard to imitate browsers that I already passed up in favour of using '''Firefox'''?
Why go up a whole version number for something that hasn't really changed at all?
Most of all, why do you keep trying to get people to change to something so radically different from the browser that they have, and actually ''like''?If you think 4.0 is bad wait to you go to 5.0. The changes from 3.6 are trashy and sloppy. Foxfire needs to stop playing with the home page on updates. I do not like them.

How do we alert agents that there are other calls in the queue?
Hey,
I'm trying to figure out a way to alert agents that there are other calls in the queue (whether they're ready or not-ready). I've seen systems that have a separate button on the phone that flashes when there's a call sitting in the queue.
The purpose of this is two fold:
1) if they are on a call they know they need to step up the game a bit to get the current issue resolved.
2) if they are "not-ready" and didn't notice the software, the blinking phone should help jump-start their brain to think "why isn't my phone ringing?"
A wallboard, while nice, is not practical for the situation i'm looking at (information desk). I'd like to minimize the number of things they have to keep track of (walk-ins, a PC, and the phone only), and a flashing button seems like a good way to do that.
Has anyone seen something similar to this on UCCX?

I don't have a sample script with me on hand now, the script i did before is part of our production scripts. But the script required to alert the agents is fairly simple.
First part is identifying when you would like the alert to be triggered, for example say when the call is been in the queue for 2 minutes. You can achieve this in different ways; you can use “Get reporting statistic” and use a field which will give you the Current wait duration of the caller, in this case Report object “csq ipcc express” need to be selected. You then need to compare the result with the predefined duration (seconds) and if the result is higher, then trigger the Alarm.
The Alarm is triggered to the alerting device by using “Call Consult Transfer” set a time out for it and then send the call back to the Queue. Make sure this device doesn’t have any VM setting or forwarding configured to it. If you don’t want reporting statistics you can just put this step where you want in the script and when the call hits it, it will trigger the alarm.
Not sure if it makes sense to you but I would recommend you playing with it and see if it is what you are looking after.

used to be firefox and hulu got along just fine, never had my computer get retarded slow or any of the other things its currently doing while there's a tab open with hulu... but here lately its been eating the snot outta my processor (between firefox.exe and plugin container the two are consistently using 100% of my processor... most of it being firefox.exe itself)
and tonight i cant watch hulu at all. the video shows a frame then its another 10-15 seconds before another single frame is showed.
my firefox is the most current version.
my adobe flash player plugin is the most current version.
there's no reason this should be happening but it is happening and its friggin annoying

this happens anytime i'm in the part of hulu that has the player for showing whatever episode i'm attempting to watch. when i attempt to watch hulu i have no other tabs open and no other excess programs running on my computer, and firefox+plugincontainer run my CPU to 100% just between those two processes. i can browse around the internet just fine (like checking my email, or even getting to my queue list on hulu, which i have my homepage set as.. the queue list loads fine but the player part of hulu is when things go to crap)
and i just tried the exact same episode of lie to me that i couldnt watch on firefox.... tried watching it on internet explorer and its playing perfextly fine EVEN WHILE FIREFOX IS OPEN.

You need to remember that AdobeFlash is proprietary software licensed by a commercial Company. Some of that software may be free to use.
Flash should work well with Google Chrome as it is tightly integrated with that browser.
This forum may be able to help you with Flash Player problems when using Firefox, but any solution will require your assistance and help also.

Is this the most up to date article on up-dating the iPhone OS - is there anything about the problems relating to the up-date to OS 6 - my G3 no longer works and Apple seems to have gone to ground. No Genius bar appointments available for a week!
iOS 7 devices need iTunes 11.1 or newer to sync. Depending upon your computer and the OS it is running, you may not be able to upgrade to iTunes 11.1 based on the requirements for iTunes 11.1. I can call my ipad with my iphone alll the time. That's how I check up on my kids at home when I"m at work. You just set up to your iphone's facetime setting with your phone number and set up your ipad's facetime settings with your apple id (in this case it's your email)
