Why aren't bridge or minibridge pinned to the task bar in CS6?

CS5 had bridge and minibridge pinned to the task bar. CS6 doesn't. Is there a way to do that?

The Application Bar was removed after photoshop cs5, but you could use Configurator
to make a panel with the relevant buttons.

I have Firefox pinned to the Task bar in Windows 7. After upgrading to Firefox 9 when I open firefox I get an extra firefox icon in my task bar while having firefox open. It used to show as being open on the icon that is pinned to the task bar.

* I am running Windows 7 64-bit
* I have Firefox pinned to the task bar.
* When Firefox opens, there is a new icon that opens up on the task bar. Normally, Firefox would open within the icon that is pinned to the task bar.
* When I close Firefox, the extra icon goes away.
* Firefox is acting like the icon that is pinned to the task bar is not even there.

Before attempting the steps below, I would highly suggest you visit the latest known issues for the current version, specifically FF 9 release notes.

1. Unpin the old firefox icon
2. Go to c:\Program File (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\
3. Double click on "firefox.exe" (FF window & icon will appear in supertaskbar)
4. Pin this new icon by right clicking > Pin to Taskbar (Firefox Icon turns into whitebox)
5. Make sure that you see the hidden folders

6. Go to C:\Users\%yourusername%\AppData\Local
7. Delete "IconCache.db"
8. Open the taskmanager
9. Kill explorer.exe by clicking on End Process

Why my airplay mirror doesn't works? when I tap in the button mirror, it closes automatically and return to the task bar

Hello supporters, I have an ipod touch 5 blue with ios 7 in his last update, and when I connect my pc to my ipod with REFLECTOR to mirror with AIRPLAY it closes automatically in my ipod. I mean... ALL is connected, the router wifi, internet, and reflector on pc is open.... When I press the button of AIRPLAY on my IPOD TOUCH 5 on IOS 7 it let me choose a few options: Ipod touch; and my PC... When I choose MY PC it let me to enable the MIRROR button... When I press the MIRROR BUTTON, it closes automatically all the menu and returns to the task bar and when I try then the same thing later now the menu doesn't closes but when I tap on my AIRPLAY DEVICE "PC" it doesn't selecct, I cant select my pc, and I can see it on the airplay devices in the menu... In conclusion I cant set up my airplay mirror. Why? I think all its working great on my ios device and with my pc.. I said that cause all the people on youtube and on the internet can run it perfectly with that software and I can't! Hope you can help me soon

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

I'm using Pale Moon x64. The icon on the task bar and start menu looks like a 'computer' and not the pale moon icon-why is that?

My computer is Windows 7-64 bit.
I recently installed the Pale Moon x64 from the proper site.
All is working properly, except that the 'icon' for PM in the task bar and start menu is not the blue moon. I wonder why that is and how I can change it.
This happened on install of PM.

This has helped me a lot. I hadn't realized I could see the audio that way. I'm still working on it, but the concept is a bit clearer.
I'll repeat my whining cry about Captivate and Adobe: Mac has made things so easy for me to learn from Day 1, in the 1980s, and I've been taught all the ins and outs easily, when I take the time to do it.
Unfortunately, Adobe makes learning this app very, very hard. It assumes we know things, and we simply do not. It's hard to then go searching for more information on the internet, when we don't know the words to use.
It would be so easy to have someone like David Pogue write about it and turn it into a friendly, usable app. Give it to us in tiny pieces, in a sensible order. I don't know why Adobe doesn't make that available, because then it could be used by tons of people like me.
Ah, there I go ranting again. Sorry, guys! I do think it could be wonderful, but I wish it weren't taking me years.

Why aren't NPR podcasts playing properly in the iOS podcast app?

i've been listening to 4 NPR podcasts (fresh air, planet money, pop culture happy hour, and world story of the day) for several years. for the past week+, these podcasts have consistently had problems when i've tried to play them in apple's podcast app. when i hit play, the podcast usually plays for 5-15 seconds and then there's a little 'whEErP!' noise as if reel of film or cassette tape has snapped. the podcast app indicates that time is still elapsing in the podcast, but everything is silent.
any tips? this has never happened to me before, and obviously it seems pertinent that it's happened with all 4 of the NPR podcasts, but no others.

I also had a lot of podcasts in my Mac's Itunes library, but none of them appeared in my iPhone's podcasts app.
Here's what worked for me:
1- Uncheck all podcasts in Mac's iTunes (under devices > iphone > podcasts)
2- Syncronize (That should mean deleting all podcasts from the iPhone)
3- Uninstall Podcasts app from iPhone
4- Reinstall Podcasts app
5- Re-Check podcasts to syncronize in iTunes
6- Sync
7- It worked for me!

Why aren't my pages printing to fit the page? HP Officejet 4622

When printing from cell phone with hp eprint app, or ipad2 with hp eprint app and/or airprint, the pages printed are much smaller then 8" x 11". I have checked all the settings (actual printer and phone/ipad app settings) and everything says it is set to print on 8" x 11" which is the same size paper i have in the printer. However the pages are only being printed out at about 6" x 8". The text is very small and the whole page is about 3/4 as small as it should be. I have already changed the settings to print on legal size paper and still no difference
EDIT: i would also like to add that these are attachments im opening up through email into adobe pdf format. i have been playing around with the settings within adobe on my desktop and its still printing much smaller. i select the "Fit to printable area", and played around with the "Choose paper source by PDF page size" and still no difference

I will need a little more information. What type of document are you printing? ePrint prints actual size. Is it an image of a document that you are printing? Have you tried resizing the document?

I was allowed to post in the iPhone forum but now I'm told that I'm not allowed to post in the iPad forum! What is going on here?

Disregard; I went back and tried for the 5th or 6th time and it seems to have posted. Jive software must being acting up again!

The forum likes to log me out for no reason just before replying to posts...I'm logged in, I click on the reply button, then BAM! I'm logged out. Happens many times in a row as well within the same session. It's quite maddening.

Why aren't my notifications showing up on the top right corner or in the notifications sliding tab?

I just have a quick question > I just upgraded to ML but I cannot get one single notification to display on my screen.
I checked every single option within system preferences, it says for every application 'banner/banner, sound, alert' under the 'notification' tab but alas, I have yet to see one popping on my screen. I tried with Mail and Messages - I see the number by the actual icon, but nothing on the screen or even in the notification center tab on the right.
When I check notification center itself, the switch is on 'ON'.
Any idea? Am I the only one out there with the issue?

Why aren't songs purchased on iPhone in the "Purchased on iPhone" playlist?

Songs I've bought in my iPhone are in the "Purchased on iMac" playlist and NOT in the "Purchased on iPhone" playlist. Both playlists are on my phone and in iTunes on my Mac. Suggestions?

New Bug - Bridge notification icons on the top bar freeze/no responsive

I only noticed this a couple of days ago but it's becoming more frequent, I will start my PB and it will tether to my BB9700 without issue. I like to delete emails from the notification drop down as its quick, so I tap and launch email via bridge (again without issue), then I minimise email (or sometimes close) and go back to the notification icon, open and either select to open or tap the check to delete. It used to work seemlessly, now I'm finding it locking up. The only cure appears to be a complete power down.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or is it unique to my PB?

Just to update this. I had thought that our issue was related to breaking and re-establishing the blue tooth connection. With a bit more experience I am not as convinced that this is what iniaties the problem. Having said that the problem persists on a daily basis.
Just to reiterate. When you log into the blackberry bridge all the icons (mail notification, power, blue tooth and power) cease to respond. Touching them does nothing. The only icon that works is the setting icon. If you disconnect the bridge the icons start functioning again. Next time I check my email or calendar and log into the bridge the icons cease to work. Other times the icons do work fine even if you are logged into the bridge. However more often than not the only way for me to use those icons is to log out out of the blackberry bridge first. As noted my colleague with a 9700 also has this issue.

Why cannot I resize the Tiles area of the start menu when the Task Bar is anywhere but at the bottom (Left, Right, Top)

I have been using the Taskbar on the LEFT. Even before it came to windows, I used a freeware taskbar written by some dev - if I am not mistaken in Windows 3
This is because it is always easier to move the mouse Left-Right than Up-Down without lifting your hand off the mouse to reset the position, especially now in these times of hires monitors.
The taskbar is by default at the bottom in Win 10. Why? Who knows. I moved it to the left. I found that when the taskbar is at the bottom, I could pop out the startmenu and RESIZE the TILES area.
But in any other position, Left, Top or Right you cannot resize the tile area of the taskbar. You first have to set it to the bottom, resize and then reset it left and if this is the wrong size for you you have to go thru all this over and over.
Since resizing is allowed for the taskbar it should not be restricted to only the bottom setting users.
