Why aren't my downloaded apps showing up on my iPad?
This has been happening for a couple of weeks now: when I purchase/download an app on my iPad, it does not appear anywhere. I use the search bar but nothing comes up. I go to the App store, find the specific app, and press the "open" button, but nothing happens. Even apps I have deleted then re-downloaded from the cloud do not appear. I have searched the internet and can't seem to find someone with a similar problem. What's going on?
Try disable all restrictions.

I have to actually same problem today 23.10.2012. For an example I have only changed billing methods and have bought hundreds of apps but I remember clearly that I bought for an example ,,Wikipanion Plus'' and ,,OPlayer'' which is now HD OPlayer and I did not see them in purchased items, neither ,,not on ipad/iphone'' nour ,,not on my computer'' and I check in both my computer. I confirm hereby that I took the chance to re-buy these two Apps again through the same account but I got the message ,,As you have bought the previous version on this account you will get this update for free'' so I clicked yes and I got them both. This doesnt only proof that I have purchased them before and purchased items in iTunes Store has some lacks to fix but also it proofs that I also bought them through that specific account as I had to confirm the buying process. In my opnion this is not a thing which Apple should be relaxed with as its very important that powerusers and regular consumers can trust and rely on doing business and to shop via iTunes. I have a lot of expensive Apple Hardware and for me this is a stepping stone and a serious test on the circle of trust. If this cant be fixed I cannot recommend others to trust the store.

I can't download any update or new app today. What is going on!!! Both my iPad and iPhone with the same user ID.
Nobody here could possibly know why you can't download apps today. I can tell you that there are no reported issues with any of Apple Services in the U.S. which you can see here.

Why can't I download apps I have to pay for on to my new iPad Mini. I have had an Apple id for my iPhone for years and have downloaded app to it, no problems. When I try to download apps to my new iPad Mini, it tells me my billing info has to be confirmed. After confirming with same info that is already there it tells me to contact support, no help up to this point.
Could the credit card be expired?
Beyond that, what you need to do is contact iTunes support, they can tell you exactly what is wrong, none of us here can do that.
In the lower right corner of this page is a 'contact us' link. Click on that and you'll see a page full of info and links, one of which is iTunes support. -

I'm having the same problem as well - on both the iPhone4 and iPad. I can see my subscriptions if I sign in via Safari on either of the devices, but if I try to use the built in YouTube app, it says I have no subscriptions. This started sometime on the 11th for me. Why aren't my scanned photos showing up in iphoto? I have an HP scanner with the option to import directly to iphoto. It says "sending to destination" but it never gets to iphoto. I scanned hundreds of photos several months and it worked fine with the photos going directly into iphoto - now it won't work. Any suggestions?
As the feature is part of your scanner set up nd not iPhoto, you'd need to ask the makers of that for help.

Apple tend to provide regular updates with access to more content, they have added PBS and Yahoo in the last few days.
Nobody here will have any information about future updates since the community is only made up of users like you or I. Anything else is mere speculation and speculation is not permitted here under the Terms of Use for these communities.
Any responses you may receive may well be removed and would be wholly unreliable in any case.

It seems odd that you can log onto TVNZ TV on demand and watch programmes directly on your computer and yet they won't let them be channelled through the Apple TV.
The Apple TV would be more use if it could access TVNZ [ say ] and play the episodes from there instead of having to go through iTunes.
I am a bit cross that Apple market the Apple TV with what it can do in US and yet it wasn't made clear that in New Zealand it is a virtually useless piece of kit.
I have been buying Apple products since 1985 and this is the first time I have been dissatisfied.
Having said that it may not be the fault of the product !! Just the country in which I am trying to use it.
That is another oddity in that New Zealand prides itself in being a World Leader in EFTPOS and internet banking and yet is so abysmal at entertainment sharing !
A very compliant nation where having fun is frowned upon ! -

Have you connected to iTunes and done a Sync? You will find hundreds of posts on this general question, with various issues and resolution ideas.

If you are searching within iTunes, all the Apps are for iDevices. To find Apps for the MacBook, you will need to search using the Mac App Store.

I would like to know why I can not download apps for other apple products. Mac Book Pro's selection is quite limited.
The games available for the iPad from the App Store will not be compatible with any computer other than an iDevice. To check for available games/Apps for the MacBook Pro you would need to check the Mac App Store, assuming of course that you are running at least OS 10.6.6.

Yes, I know. Which is why I won't argue over it. As I said I've never had an issue with it when travelling.
And Apparently the purchase is working fine for the OP, its the actual download that gets hung up.
Anyway, If the Purchase is going fine, then its more likely an issue with the internet connection.
Are you on Cell service when trying to download rather than Wifi? -
I have two iPads and giving 1st gen. to my grandson. Using my Apple idI for both... can we use different passwords to access our "own" apps. Also I don't want the downloaded App to go to both iPads. Been looking for hours for an explanation! Thanks for any help.

Why can't I download Photoshop CC(2014) to my Mac Pro desktop running OSX 10.9.3. My Creative Cloud app shows updates for all apps that I have as CS6 on my desktop but I have only subscribed to Photoshop CC. Lightroom shows Install but it is installed. Trying to Install Photoshop CC(2014) results in and error message "Installation failed Errors encountered during installation.(7) more information.

I also cannot directly download from my account on the web. This has been going on for a week or more and I have tried numerous suggestions on the forums but got nowhere. I uninstalled Creative Cloud app today but could not find the installer again so I assume that was deleted. I cannot download that now as on Adobe's site it says we are experiencing problems. Aren't we all.
I was happy with CC until last week but now cannot recommend it.
