Why aren't my iphone emails being sent from my default email address. Is anyone else having this problem?
I have my iphone email default setting to my primary email address however when I send or respond to emails they are sent from my secondary email address even if I de-activate the secondary email address. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this?
Are you sending from All Inboxes, or the inbox for the account the message was received in? I cannot duplicate your problem with either approach; my mail is always sent with the FROM address of the account that a Reply came to, or, for a new message, the inbox that was open at the time. It doesn't matter which SMTP server I use.
When composing a new message or a reply tap once on the BCC/FROM field; you can then tap on the From address and choose any of your email addresses for the FROM field. Does this let you change it?

Why is my 1440x1080 video with 1.333 aspect look 4:3? Is anyone else having this problem/glitch?
I ended up rendering it out as 1920x1080 with an Aspect of 1.0, which made it 16x9. Our client shoots his own videos and sends them to us to edit. He shoots them as 1440x1080 so I render them out at the same size to maintain the quality. Usually, rendering H.264 mp4s that are 1440x1080 give me no problems... I was wondering if anyone else ran into this. Seems like a glitch.
I always match the entire project to the footage so this problem doesn't happen.
I have an after effects project dynamically linked to the project. I think that may be causing the problem somehow, although that is also a 1440 project.
Again, I had no problems before. I've done 10+ projects for this client with the same settings and am only now having problems.
I never recommend shooting in 1440, but that is what they wanted for whatever reason. Always 1920x1080p or 1280x720p. -
Whenever I ask Siri to send a message to a contact, it will attempt to send it as an iMessage. This is a problem because it will attempt to send iMessages to contacts of mine which aren't even iPhone numbers. Is anyone else having this problem?
So, this is a problem because when Siri attempts to send iMessages to those without iPhones it, of course, fails.
For example, if I say to Siri, "Tell my mother 'Hello.'" It will try to send an iMessage. My mother has an Android phone, so the iMessage just gets lost in cyberspace.
I use Siri quite often, this problem only occured about two hours ago.
Can anyone help me with this?

if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

Is anyone else having this problem? I usually attach photos from my existing camera roll when sending ecards, suddenly starting yesterday, all my photos are being rotated and coming up sideways! I use Blue Mountain.com for my ecards. I called their tech support line, they accessed my account and say they can do it no problem. It is my iPads problem!?? Any help out there. problem with updated find my iPhone (FMi) app: when I attempt to open the FMi app, it tells me that I need to be a registered developer and run iOS7 to do so; is anyone else having this problem? I got the app as a regular update to my existing FMi app which worked great.
The problem is being reported in the news media, yes. Apparently someone at Apple jumped the gun and uploaded the update before it was ready. They'll probably issue another update shortly, I would expect, but you can go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. If you have a backup copy of the older version of the app, remove the newer version, restore the old version to iTunes on your computer, and resync.
Update: Well, that was certainly quick. As of a short time ago, various sites are reporting that the Find My iPhone app is no longer displaying the previous error message. If it still is for you, delete it from your iPhone and re-download from the iTunes Store.

My iphone 4s voice dictiation for text messages is not consistently working. I've had the phone since Thanksgiving and it always worked perfectly, but the last few weeks it's been hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else having this problem? I tried the hard reset but that hasn't fixed it.
I have the same problem since updating to IOS 8.3. Any app to which I want to send a new link via IMessage does not allow me to select a contact to send the IMessage to. Using a pre-existing thread does not have same problem.

I was going to suggest - Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings, but if you are restoring to factory settings, that should restore the settings back to factory defaults. But if you are restoring from a backup, after restoring to factory settings, try resetting all of the settings and see if that fixes it.
It might be something in your backup. -
After loading iOS 8.0 on my iPad Air, I cannot delete a mailbox in my iCloud email account. I get kicked to the home screen. Anyone else having this problem?
delete mailbox - how else do you propose to do that. Unless by "deleting mailbox" you mean something else.

There was a run of bad batteries for the iPhone 5. Apple will replace them if your phone qualifies and you haven't tried to fix it yourself. See: iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program - Apple Support. Unfortunately, you may have disqualified yourself if you tried to repair it yourself.

Actually after Lawrence told us of his connectivity problem I held the home and off button down, I've done that before, but maybe the network is working again? Bingo, movement and some apps are moving. Like him some are still saying they cannot connect at this time. So it's starting to work again...thanks you guy's there's no place like home.
