Why aren't my public wireless printers showing up in my workgroup?

Hey guys, before I start I just want to say I searched for this issue and couldn't find a thread on this exact problem. And "HI" cauz I'm new!
Quick background:
First Mac - 2.53ghz MacBook Pro OS X 10.5.7
PC Desktop running Windows Vista
PC connected to two Canon printers
MacBook Pro connecting to wifi via router
So I'm trying to setup wireless printing through my router. I have done this before with two PCs by adding them to the same workgroup.
When I go to System Preferences > Print & Fax > + To Add Printer, I can see "Windows" as an option in the top panel of icons. I click "Windows" and can see two options in the first column.
The first option is the name of the workgroup I have the PC desktop on. The second just says workgroup.
I can't select either of these two options even though they have arrows. The printers on the workgroup are definitely open to be shared, no password, etc.
I tried going System Preferences > Network > Airport > Advanced and selecting the workgroup name in the WINS screen, but all that did was remove the options from my "Windows" section of the Print & Fax.
I also read a blog that suggested I shouldnt fiddle with WINS so I unselected the workgroup name.
Why can't I get inside the workgroup to select the printers? The Macbook is obviously recognising the workgroup exists.

Sorry no answers here but the exact same problem. New to MAC as well and the guys at the store told me the MAC should be seeing it no problem. Sorry you are having the issue but glad I am not the only one. If I find a solution somewhere else I will try to post it here for you.

Usually i just hold my finger down and am able to save all the photos attached in an email and now only certain photos are actually being saved. And in some instances the actual image is not there but instead just the word "jpeg"

When you first enable photo stream on your Mac it only downloads photos from the last 30 days, as older photos are no longer in iCloud. If the missing photos are older photos, that's probably the reason.

Why aren't my second level pages showing up in nav bar

I have been using Muse for a while and use the menu widget. On the curent site I am using the horizontal menu widget, when I added second level pages in plan view they aren't showing in the nav bar in master view. I have only added sublevel pages to one top level page and do not want a drop down button
on ever page. Isn't Muse suppose to add the sublevel pages to the menu?

In Plan View right-click on the page > Menu Options and make sure one of the include options is checked.

Why doesn't my E4200 wireless router show all attached devices when viewing the DHCP Client table?

I recently installed some wireless IP cameras and when attempting to re-install a camera I went into the DHCP Client table to verify which IP a camera was using to set it up, but I could not...and still cannot see any of my cameras in the table even though I can access three of them directly through the IE web browser. I initially power cycled both the E4200 router and Motorola cable modem, and then later just the wireless router...but I still do not see the devices connected. I currently have 2.0.37 firmware even though I was told by Cisco support that there was a later version available, just before being informed that I do not have support available and could purchase it. I attempted to locate a newer version, but the online upgrade portion of the Cisco Connect software searched the net and then states that I have the latest version available. I also opened a Firefox browser to see if maybe my browser was causing issues, but the same limited table appears without all entries available. I even opened the Cisco Connect software on another laptop with the same limited results.
Other than a factory reset, any suggestions to get me E4200 dual band wireless router to show all attached devices through the DHCP Client table as it previously did approximately two weeks ago? Thanks!

It is strongly recommended that you upgrade the firmware to a smart wifi, which may resolve lot of bugs. You can also download the firmware here:

HT201272 Why aren't my previously purchased apps showing up in the purchased tab of the app store on my new ipad? I used the same ID as my old ipad.

I sold my original ipad and bought an ipad 2. I wasn't worried about losing all of the apps I had previously purchased/downloaded, because I knew that the app store has a "purchased" tab, from which you can download previously downloaded apps. I set up my new ipad 2 with the same app store ID. I went to the purchased tab, the loading circle went on for awhile then went away, but no apps showed up. What's the problem?
I would be really upset if I lost all of the apps I previously paid for or downloaded (probably about 80 or so), seeing as how the app store is supposed to remember my purchase/download history based upon the user ID.

Go to "Settings > iTunes and App Stores", touch the AppleID, sign out, and then sign in with your revised AppleID.

Why aren't all of my television shows loading on my iPad under the "shared' library?

I have the 1st gen ipad. When i go into the ipad's "videos" app and load the "shared" library from my imac, all of my movies, podcasts, and music videos appear to show up with no problem. However, on the "tv shows" tab, it is only loading some of the shows. The only thing I've been able to narrow it down to is that it seems to stop alphabetically each time I re-load. The same shows are always added and they appear to be the first ones in alpha order until they start with the letter "L."
Are there some settings that would cause it not to load other shows of certain quality? Some other way to get these to load?

Why aren't my accepted Photo Streams showing in my notification center or my iPhoto?

I recently accepted 2 Photo Streams. They showed up in my notification center, and by clicking them in the NC I was able to access them (They popped up in the "flagged" section of my iPhoto). Now, my NC shows nothing and the Shared Photo Streams have not been turned off by the sharer. Additionally, the photo streams are not under the "flagged" section of my iPhoto. Is there a setting I'm missing? Any ideas?

Another quick question: is there a limit to how many times you can open a shared photo stream? Because after opening them a few different times through my NC, they disappeared.

all software up to date. did iPhoto to iCloud photo library transfer move and activated it both on phone and laptop. (was in beta on phone even from weeks ago)
only way to get photos on the laptop is to plug in usb and snyc manually. i assume it's suppose to just be able to sync wirelessly just like iPhoto did with photo stream? at least from all I've read it will do that and a lot more. thanks.

Why aren't all selected music/playlists showing up on my iPhone 5S?

I just purchased my iPhone 5S (upgraded from the 4S) last night. Software has been updated to the newest iOS 7 version and latest version of iTunes. All of my music won't fit on my phone, so I only have certain playlists selected. The playlists show up, but some of the music isn't there...it is show in a lighter grey writing with a cloud next to it. I have tried rebooting my laptop, syncing again, etc. I am at a loss.
Any thoughts?

I understand that you are seeing a discrepancy between the number of songs iTunes shows are on your iPhone and the number of songs you actually see on your iPhone. In this situation, I would recommend using the attached article to make sure the music you want on your iPhone has been properly synced to your iPhone.

As the feature is part of your scanner set up nd not iPhoto, you'd need to ask the makers of that for help.

Can you explain what you have done whilst matching your library. I have explained in previous posts what you should expect to see.
The tracks with the download icon are in the cloud but if they have the download icon, this would suggest that the originals are no longer on your computer. Where are the original files?
Your original post was regarding tracks not in the cloud. If you create a smart playlist with any of the following criteria - iCloud status not = matched, not = uploaded and not= purchased, you will establish tracks not in the cloud. What do you see when you have done this?

How to fix single wireless printer showing up as several (bonjour) printers?

I have the following problem with a wireless printer/scanner connected using bonjour (Samsung SCX-3205W):
When using the device in wireless mode, after a period, the single printer shows up in the selection list as tens or even hundreds of seperate printers. Applications showing/selecting printers or scanners slow down dramatically and sometimes stop responding (beach ball rotating for long periods)

The device works fine using USB or ethernet connection but problems arise when using the wireless connection. After adding the printer using System Preferences / Print & Scan it seems to work fine, atleast for a while. After some time the printer seems to multiply itself in the printer lists (e.g. when adding new printer or using Preview or Image Capture to scan and choosing a network device.)
I'm using OS X 10.7.3 and have the latest drivers for the printer (Samsung SCX 3200 series 1.01.01)
Im connected to the printer through a wireless router/adsl-modem
The problem seems to start (i.e. printer starts to "multiply") after the printer goes into power save mode. (The power save function can't be turned off, only set to max 120min)
Anyone have similar problems with other wireless printers or any idea what might be causing this? Or how I could fix it?

I haven't received any replies to the question I recently posted, but one work-around that HP suggested is to use different scanning software. Instead of Image Capture, I used the HP Scan.app that came with my all-in-one printer. I haven't seen those rectangles in my PDFs since switching.

Good afternoon. Ensuring your text messges are being logged correctly is important. I am happy to see you were able to determine they were iMessages. Unfortunately, there is not a way to track iMessages. However, if you find the iMessage user and you need to block them. Apple now gives you the ability to block iMessage users.
